What would not have done? With these protests going on Anonymous hacking is going to good use. It’s fueling more protests and things like that. If anonymous did it before when nothing was happening, the government would have ignored it completely or tried to hide it. Now with everything going on they really can’t hide anything right now. 
and my opinion I think anonymous did it at the perfect time.
I mean I guess but it’s best to tell people earlier in my opinion. Some people already suspected things like this about the government and this information would have confirmed it. Either way I’m happy they did it though.

There are multiple accounts of Anonymous, mainly so that they can’t all be deleted. There is no leader or official Anonymous account because there are multiple accounts across social media platforms.

Anonymous hacked Facebook and Instagram—at least for me, living in Canada, and on Insta—DMs cannot be sent.
Anonymous reports that America is under a DDoS attack, which from what I’ve gathered means that their services are being shut down or somethting. Also, major cell providers across the States are having outages as well.
