The worst part is that if it is true, I doubt they’ll receive any repercussions for their actions. The world is truly messed up and everything is crash landing in 2020.

Not entirely sure. I’ve heard that they were right about something before, so they’ve been thought of as credible.
With the Donald Trump thing, there were people testifying with sexual assault cases against him. I posted those pictures. And honestly, it’s not that hard to believe with the types of comments I’ve heard him say.
And idk who Jeffrey Epstein even is lol so I have no standing on that.

To expand on this
From what I’ve known is that they didn’t entirely “disappeared” per se . Nor were they an official group as they did not have social structure and or leader .It was more of an collective group of people that held the same ideals regarding free speech and internet censorship.
The reason why they “disappeared” was because of several factors .One of them being the imprisonment of almost all Lulzsec members in 2011 . Lulzsec was a group of skilled hackers that were often seen as the core of the Anonymous identity.
Another major reasoning was also the divison of the collective on their political stance during the 2016 US presidential election. On top of the Anonymous identity became more popular among edgy teens which might have also made people want to leave the collective so to not associate with those newer people.
So I suppose it took some time for some skilled hackers with in this collective to band together again

Pretty much. Netflix has a documentary on him now and in the trailer they immediately tackles the fact that he literally had a private island that was nicknamed “Pedo island” which infamously had a lot of other influential people meeting with underage girls.
