Are you guys turning into Episode in terms of the off topic posting? It seems like such a silly thing to flag, but maybe that’s just me.

Okay so I don’t normally post things that say we are turning into episode because by all accounts it is nonsense.
So you can see here that we don’t like off topic posting but…
We do allow a short exchange of 5 off topic posts then please just take it to PM.
For the record, alot of the flags we get about off topic posts get ignored then a staff member will come onto the thread and ask you all to stay on topic. Also if we deem the posts as being on topic then the flags will probably be ignored or rejected.
We only approve them if we think the thread has been completely derailed and it isn’t always staff who flag it
Unlike episode we don’t just accept every flag we get but off topic posting after 5 posts is against our rules.
What we urge people to do instead of flagging is to ask people to get back on track. However, if after you were told to get back on track and you still don’t, then yeah if you get flagged it will probably be approved.
I strongly urge you to read through the thread that I have quoted since it will give you a better idea of what we do with flags.
To be completely fair we have been very lenient with off topic posting but lately there have been completely different conversations to the topic happening in the middle of threads, that is off topic, if you wanna talk about it that much then make a thread, go to a relevant thread, or take it to PMs.

Less about the forum but about the readings: would it be possible to have a list of stories and how many tickets are there for this story? for all of us who have tickets but not an own story and want to give others a chance!
Hey! Just a quick reminder that if any of you have any complaints about staff you can go through the proper channels i.e. contacting the heads with information.
The problem with doing it anonymously is that it takes away much needed context so yeah please don’t be afraid to PM the @AdminTeam we do keep it confidential.

Why is the restricted section only 18+? I feel like it should be open to anyone 15+ because a lot of teens may have questions that aren’t exactly PG 13 or many be too embarrassed to PM someone and talk to someone irl about it.
I understand that you have your reason for it being 18+ and maybe we could have a similar section to it for teens to ask adults the questions or generally talk about things.
Anyways this is just an Idea I thought of, nothing big, just a minor suggestion.

So the main reason is because the restricted section isn’t an educational area. It isn’t made for people to ask questions, it’s made for people to have fun and discuss like the main forums, but elements of media and writing that aren’t appropriate.
If you’re too uncomfortable asking in a DM, why would you be comfortable posting on a public thread for everyone to see?
Also why 15+? Seems oddly specific. I don’t get it. You also need to have Patreon to get on the RS, so most teens who have these questions wouldn’t be able to anyway. If you have questions about things you may find awkward talking to family about or anything like that, feel free to message me. I have a little sister, I’ve been through that rodeo before, my DMs are a judgment free safe space for these kinds of things. And I’m sure much of the staff feel the exact same way

I probably should have explained it better, but I wanted an anonymous confession question kinda thing and the reason I said 15+ was because I was thinking MA 15+ but it wasn’t a good idea anyways so it doesn’t matter:)
