I’ll work on that! Thank you!
Thank you! I’ll work on that next time for sure!

Oh yeah. I see it.
Just added a tag.
I love this.
Though is there any critique to help Marta, @Artists?
What do you need help with?
I don’t know. I want someone to tell me what I should work on. What could have been drawn better or something like that
the anatomy is a little off
meaning that the shape of the head isnt realistic as well as the nose, ears and eyes.
Thats only if you want to draw realistically i can help u with that
i like your drawing style if you were to do your style i dont see anyting wrong with it but
realistic wise its ok but it doesnt look “human”
to do that you need to look up vids of how to sketch out the perfect shape of the nose. Noses like the one in your picture arent always fully round like that
i like the places you shaded in your portrait, especially the hair.
so your good at that
but eyes are almond shaped and round and you cant make out that shape in your picture so id suggest starting with an almond shaped eye than going from there unless the eyes you drew are part of your drawing style
The ears are too small for the head, i mean u can barely see it so it should have been drawn more
out ward not attached to the head bc thats what it looks like
i see that you made lines to make cheekbones and a hard face structure on him but that never works, because if you look at it its just hard lines
to make a hard face structure, you need to contour aka shade and blend using a pencil in the right places to make out a cheekbone of the face
id suggest looking up vids of how to shade in a face
O MY GAWWWd
do u use ibis paint ?
if so, i use photoshop but either way, i have NO IDEa of how to make shiny hair like that, which i soooo want to badly
if you can id love some techniques or explanation as to how you did it, if not alright
Hey there! Sorry for such a late response, I don’t check these forums much anymore sadly. I use procreate with custom brushes for shading etc ;3
Basically I use four layers with blend modes in this order - Multiply, add, Multiply, add, on the bottom mult layer I airbrush the darker areas, on the top mult layer I draw the base darker strands of hair with a custom brush, then i do the same with the first add layer with a different brush for the lighter strands, then at the end i use a custom glitter airbrush to add shine.
Hope that makes sense lol :))
yes i can get somewhat of what your saying ! this helps a lot although i dont use procreate but i usually only use one layer for hair, so now ill focus on using multiple
I also dont use these forums as much anymore, i would check in once every 2 weeks but thx
This is my first time posting here but this is the first kinda realistic drawing that I’ve done. It took around four hours.
I wanted to know if there’s anything I can/could do to improve it, especially with the hair.
Here’s the line art for it
I’ll try to find the version without glasses so u can see the eyes better
As for the hair:
It seems like you’re using the same skinny brush and just mixing white and purple together. Maybe try to add larger shadows with a larger brush at a lower opacity. Think about the shape of the hair and how the strands will flow. Add highlights and concentrate them on one spot, to show where the light hits. If you’re going for realism, maybe try looking at a reference photo?
For the skin:
It looks like you’re just using the same brown hue to shade. Maybe turn the color wheel and add some warmer tones (orange, yellow, red) to make it look like her face has more form. I’d also suggest adding darker tones to show more depth and shadows.
Whose art is this for? You may wanna tag them.
Oh wait for some reason it replied to the wrong post AHHHHH
I really like this style! Maybe for the shadows, add orange/red hues instead of darker yellow tones
And I think it looks great without the outline
Thank you! I don’t want to draw realistically but I’ll try to work on the noses.
And I’ll definitely work on the cheekbones and ears as well!
Actually, it’s time for me to post on here to allow criticism. Take in mind tho that the unrealistic propositions are a intentional decision.
I was using two different brushes lmao
But they’re rlly small
Mhm
I did do highlight and shadow but I probably need to deepen
In regards to the reference photo I was using one.
I don’t wanna share it as it’s a picture of myself
Mhm
Can u do that on ibis?
I attempted this but I probs need to make it deeper/darker.
