Bad exam experiences

Had a bad experience yesterday…

Thursday’s exam with 7th grade:
I forgot to attach the exam on Classroom with the instructions. :joy_cat::joy_cat:
But the kids told me right away, so I fixed it as quickly as possible.

Today, with 8th grade:
I grabbed the wrong Bluetooth headphones, and they didn’t work with the computer I was on, so the kids couldn’t hear me. I had to type everything in the chat. But a technician came and brought me the right headphones after 10 minutes, so everything worked out well in the end.

Oof. I had to do a proctored exam, and had to spend thirty minutes trying to get it to work.

Story time!!!

I was sick for my mid terms exams so I wasn’t in the best state for most exams at that time. The worst one was when I have a nosebleedduring my exmas, and I have to excuse myself to the toilet while covering up my bleeding nose. It was… embarrassing…

It was my boards exams. Pretty important. I forgot to bring my compass for the Math exam (which was ALSO my first ever boards exam in my life and I was shooketh to the core) and there was this 4 marker Geometry question which required me to do construction using a compass.

Yes. And there was this strict rule that if any student was caught talking to or borrowing from any other student during the board exam, they were to be listed in using ‘unfair means’ and were debarred from taking their boards for another 2.5 years.

So long story short, I sneakily took the compass from my buddy sitting behind me and quickly did my thing when the invigilator wasn’t observing (luckily, the lights went out those blessed 5 minutes and cameras weren’t working). I had never been more screwed up in my life before until that moment :ok_hand:

@Students Do you have any bad exam experiences to share?

It’s not something I experienced but one Maths teacher at my school used to play music during exams because he got bored :woman_facepalming: I felt sorry for everyone who had an exam in his classes
