It didn’t take long for her drink to be emptied. Placing her finger tips to her lip, she wondered if she really needed another. She had already forgotten why she was drinking in the first place. After pondering over it, she decided another would be fine, but she wanted something different… something more… she waved the server down and placed her order for an Irish Trash Can. The drink had sounded good and she had hoped the red bull in it will help keep her awake.

Before long the drink was in her grasp. The colors blended just so slightly. She was enlightened by the way it looked and couldn’t help but amire the drink a little bit more. The bar tender knew exactly what they were doing with each alcoholic part. She enjoyed every sip of the drink, until it was at the halfway mark.

She pulled out her phone to send her brother a quick “Is everything good? Did I do something wrong?” But her drunken self ended up sending something nearly impossible to read.

“Xxs engythjfh doog?! Dod I dooo skmthinh wdonh?hfucjr”

She didn’t feel drunk but it was clear she wasn’t fully sober. But nonetheless she went on enjoying each sip.

“What? I thought your wife was in India and somebody told you about it or took a photo or video of her with this other man” Ezra turned to face the man head on as he sat down. “No, no. I mean, she was in India, I,” He paused, because he hadn’t had time to think about why she was in the states. “I don’t actually know why she’s here.” He thought out loud. He knew in his head that she was an actress, but the dots didn’t connect. And he knew for sure he wouldn’t dox her by telling this stranger who she was.

“Are you telling me that your wife, who felt abandoned by you when you left her in India, traveled to America to see you and then kissed another man while you were around?” Ezra, lips still pressed together in a grimace, answered honestly. “Yes.”[/center] Ezra winced, “well, semi yes. I don’t,” he cleared his throat, voice lowering. “I don’t think she’s here for me.”

Ezra’s mind felt like a foggy landscape, thoughts drifting without direction. The way the man laid it out struck a chord, though, it was the kind of angle Ezra had avoided, the uncomfortable truth hidden beneath layers of hurt pride and jealousy. “Self-sabotage,” Ezra echoed, rolling the term around in his mouth as if it were a foreign word. What a convenient label for such inconceivable behavior. But she had packed her bags and flown back to the states without saying a word to him—was that really how a person ready to fight for their marriage would act? Yet here he was, sitting in front of a stranger, grappling with a situation that felt so hopelessly tangled. “Look, bud,” he finally said, his voice barely above a whisper. “I left her in India because—because I am scared of commitment. Or… scared of something like it. And I thought… I thought giving her space was what she needed.” The sudden realization that he had severed that connection with her caused a wave of panic to wash over him. So, he waved over the bartender.

He had chosen to ignore the child before him. It was a waste of energy to tell the stranger anything. He was about to pound on the door again when the kid had shoved him out of the way and pound on the door themselves. He straightened himself up and scuffed. “what makes you think Rowan will answer the door if he hasn’t already?” . He had no plans to answer the child before him of who he was. It mattered not to this stranger, his main focus was confronting Rowan.

“I just want to focus on the movie. I’m just worried this will overshadow the premiere.” When Helen said this Dave felt he could relate to her because he cared about the movie too. He focused more on the movie than on the relationship, but then again so has everybody. Dave didn’t unserstand why Tommy thought it was a good idea to have this fake relationship when both of them are amateurs and neither had nearly enough experience acting on screen to do it full time off screen.

When he told her that having to act and pretend even when she’s off camera is a job, s he sighed as if he had insulted her. He should’ve known better than to suggest her precious Tommy did anything wrong. But he swallowed the feelings that reaction awoke and when he calmly asked her why she lied in order to find out if she and Tommy had the affair, she became defensive again.
“What do you mean I lied to you? You honstly think this is all my fault?” She had the nerve to get angry when being confronted at lying. That in turn made Dave angry. “I know you lied! Don’t play innocent with me!” He didn’t manage to properly say everything he wanted before she cut in and said “You’re right. I wasn’t just changing. I was coming down from dissociating, confinding in a friend … I was playing Uno.” Dave would’ve accepted this answer, and would’ve even considered apologizing for overreacting, but then … Tommy cut in. “Will, I must say… I don’t think y’all are really accomplishing much at this moment.” At this point Dave felt guilty and he was now second guessing his opinion on the matter and paying half of his attention to Tommy’s words. When Tommy directed his speech at him Dave paid full attention. “Look Dave, I know you might have been upset over messages or whatever. Yes, I read your messages. No, I didn’t respond.” This made Dave’s blood boil. Him not responding might’ve just been confirmation that he tried to keep him at arm’s lenght so he could have alone time with Helen, except Dave didn’t get that from his message. The only thing he got was that his so called friend ignored him on purpose. But then he continued. "The first one I was holding all the bags so I couldn’t really type. Well technically Siri read me your messages. I said open and read. So, she did. I guess I could have spoken to text you back, but I really don’t like doing that because Siri always seems to misunderstand my words. When I finally got to my room I forgot to respond. The second message I was unpacking my bags. Then got distracted with card games.” And Dave remembered that might be true. But that doesn’t explain why Helen never responded and that didn’t account why both of them forgot for hours that they were supposed to be there with him. At first Dave didn’t understand why they had to fly separate and why Tommy had to go with Helen, but he trusted Tommy. He always had such a way with words to make everything make sense … But he reconsidered this when Rowan said this “Dave, I hope you know how wrong you were for what you said to Helen. I can’t believe you were that rude because of a text.” Which confused Dave. He wanted to turn to Helen and aplogoize instantly, and say Helen I’m sorry for saying … But he couldn’t remember what part of what he said to Helen was rude. Dave then thought that either Tommy was talking himself out of being wrong because he made such long speeches that he could make everything seem believable or he was siding with Helen because he likes her as well. Then Dave thought back … Tommy always seemed less friendly and more angry with him since the whole fake relationship started. He then remembered the plane and when at first he believed Tommy knew best … He realized there was no reason why they couldn’t be together in that plane and whatever Tommy told him was just bull that would get him closer to Helen.
“Dave, you are not just my client but my friend dude.” When Tommy said this, Dave felt actual heartbreak, realizing this was no longer true. What’s worse he felt used, because he knew Tommy used the friend card to get him to stop questioning and letting him use him to get to Helen. “However, I will always be the one to tell you when you are wrong.” To which Dave immediately said a sarcastic "Oh really? And continuing in the same matter “Why not be my friend now and tell me exactly what I said that was so rude to Helen?”

Later on when Tommy said “I know this relationship with y’all is fake. However, I do believe y’all were friends before this.” Dave got confused. He shook his head. “Tommy, if you’re reffering to the first movie, we never made a connection there. We were always just colleagues until you got the idea that a fake relationship would be a good way to make the movie good. We were never friends.”
Tommy then suggested they apologized to each other and Dave frowned. He didn’t feel like he should apologize for anything he said because nothing he said to her tonight was that bad. The only thing he would aplogoize for is the kiss, but he will NO LONGER apologize for something just because Tommy managed to convince him it was bad. Because he now feels Tommy’s motivations in this fight are against him, no matter what he does. Tommy will always find some reason to validate his resentment towards the fact Dave is dating the woman he loves, even if it’s fake and he knows it. The exception is that Dave doesn’t know this, and doesn’t understand why suddenly Tommy is so unreasonably angry with his words when nothing he said was hurtful or mean. When Tommy suggested one of them would take his bed and one of them would stay here, Dave remebered his goal in asking Helen why she lied. He asked her this question to figure out if Tommy liked her back and if they knew and ignored him on purpose to be with each other, alone. He looked at Tommy when he made that suggestion and noticed he gazed at Helen. Dave then knew Tommy was in love with her and he assumed they were sleeping with each other when ignoring him.
“Also, Dave. I think that you should never talk to Helen so ugly again.” Dave finally figured out why Tommy thought his words were mean, he loved her and decided to take her side. Helen is too nice of a person to be treated the way you have been treating her." Dave didn’t see it that way. She might’ve been nice to Tommy, but he never saw her nice side. Dave didn’t really know Helen well enough to say she’s not nice just because she wasn’t really ever nice to him and he can’t say she is nice just because she wasn’t really ever mean to him.
Tommy then shared the good news about the photos not making it online and stopping it from reaching anybody, but Dave didn’t care about that. Maybe it was a saving grace for them, but Dave would rather if the whole fake relationship never existed in the first place and he was free to make out with Ravi all night, if he wanted to.
Then Tommy started again. “I am both of y’all’s manager. I want what’s best for y’all’s careers. However, I support y’all with whatever y’all both decide to do. Y’all both need to think this over.” Tommy kept on talking but Dave tried hard not to listen. He couldn’t stomach another speech made by Tommy knowing it would be against him, so he just shut off, so he isn’t manipulated by his convincing words that he is the one in the wrong, when he knows he’s not. He was like the Ulyssess when he tied himself up to not be able to jump after the sirens’ calls. He only tuned back in at the end.“Y’all really need to try to understand where each other is coming from before we can resolve any issues guys.” Look who’s talking Dave thought to himself. That sentence was followed by silence and Dave realized it was the end of the speech. Dave turned to Tommy and said. “No need for that Tommy … No need to think it over, at least not on my side. I know what I want and I’ll go for nothing less. And I want nothing to do with this fake relationship anymore. I don’t know if I really ever wanted this, but not it’s a crystal clear no for me.” He then turned to Helen. “Helen, I don’t know what disingenious means so I can’t answer that question for you, even if it’s the type that isn’t meant to be answered. But if you wanted to be away from me you could have always told me that you didn’t want me around, because I didn’t want to be around you either. Hell you could’ve told me before I flew to Brazil in order to have a fake date with you, if you said that before it could’ve saved me a trip.” Then he got a bit more angry at her words “An escape from this ridiculus anxiety of having to pretend to feel something for you when I barely felt anything at all.” Because in those words she basically said she felt this fake relationship was just like a job, when she got angry at him saying the very same thing. He didn’t even acknowledge her saying she felt nothing for him, because he thought that was a given.
Dave quickly glanced at Tommy, remembering he told them to apologize to each other, before turning back to Helen and saying. “When it comes to apologizing, I’ll apologize for kissing Ravi, because it hurt you and it made you worry about the fake relationship and the press … But I don’t regret doing it … And I won’t apologize for anything else because I don’t see what’s so wrong with it, and I can’t apologize for something if I think it’s not wrong.” He took a few steps back so he could see them both withouth turning his head. Assuming they weren’t playing UNO but ‘DUO’ he said his next words. “Now … Considering the two of you were so eager to spent the time together, you can spend it together all you wish.” He threw his passkey underhand to Tommy. “You guys enjoy the room. No reason for you to be coy, Tommy. Since you already had your little date, why not give it a happy ending as well. Assuming you didn’t already do that.” He looked at Helen and said. “I haven’t even said it and already I feel like a huge amount of stress just washed over me. The fake relationship is over, and you don’t have to worry about me anymore.” He put his hands on his hips and chuckled. Looking up, inhaling and exhaling as if he’s somewhere in nature he says “I’ve been wanting to do that for sooo long.” He looked back at Tommy and with a smile of relief he said “You know Tommy, during tonight’s fight you kept calling yourself my friend and manager … But I’m starting to rethink that. See, when I was a child, if I had a friend that would hang around me only to get to my brother … Well I would drop that friend as soon as I found out. So you probably understand why I wouldn’t want to be your friend anymore. I don’t even care that I never even liked Helen, or she never liked me … You still used me to get to what you want, and it feels awful. I don’t want to feel like this again. I’m getting my own room tonight, and tomorrow I’ll stick around. We can talk about you keeping your job tomorrow morning.” He then turned to Helen with tears in his eyes. The heartbreak of losing a friend wasn’t nearly as big as the relief he felt of that awful feeling going away. With the most nonchalant voice he had, he said “Goodbye Helen, I’ll see you in California.” He didn’t want to look at Tommy or say goodbye to him to risk tearing up again. He just walked into the room where his luggage was placed by a courier. Without saying a word, he grabbed the luggage and left the room.

AJ sunk backwards again, into the back of the cushioned chair and looked out at the city lights sprawled below them. “That’s the thing, Doug,” he said calmly and with sincerity. “The best decisions and ideas, whether they’re for your kids, your career, or even for yourself, come when you’re present. Like, really present. You can’t rush it or force it, but stepping back gives you the space to let those things find you.” AJ took a sip from his nearly empty glass as he listened to Doug talk about how hard it was to let go. “Letting go is hard, especially when everything inside of you is saying you’re missing out on so much. But truthfully, you’re not, you’re catching up so that you don’t mess out on what matters.” He gives him a smile for the compliment before turning back to the city lights. “You, too, can be just as inspiring.”

He nodded along as he listened; Doug seemed to registering his words and thanking him for the advice. AJ found it nice to watch him process it all; particularly the part about connecting with the cast in his next film. “At this glamping trip? That’s a solid move. But it’s not just about your cast mates. It’s about getting out of your own head for a while. Changing up the scenery and breathing in fresh air." AJ then leaned a little closer and grinned cheekily, “Plus, if you can survive glamping with a bunch of actors, the action sequences will feel like a cakewalk.” He sat back and chuckled. ““Here’s the thing: life keeps throwing us curveballs, and there’s no perfect way to juggle everything. But the fact that you’re even thinking about it? That’s what sets you apart, Doug. You’re not just running on auto-pilot; you’re actively trying to make it count. You’ve got this, one step at a time.”

In the hall | Talking on the phone

Since Isla walked away from Rowan, he hoped to relax a bit and wash the worry away, but he didn’t have a moment’s peace. His new client, Ravneet, happened to kiss Dave DeHaas, the former football player in front of her husband. Rowan saw some of the photos, but most of them were either grainy or dark. For a moment of passion, Rowan was pleased they at least decided to share it in a spot that was poorly lit and far away from the roar of the party. Any photo that showed their faces clearly enough to be recognized was being deleted or pushed back by both Rowan and Tommy, Dave’s manager.
Rowan was calling a friend who he used to work with on the phone as he walked down the hall to his room.
“Yes, the threat was taken care of. No pictures or photos made it anywhere and it’s safe to say they never will. Thank you for helping me in destroying the evidence.” He said as he was rounding the corner to find a surprise there.
Seeing Isla and some random man there was such a surprise for him, he dropped his phone and exclaimed. “What the f… Isla … what?” He asked in confusion.

Jorge laughs with Davit. it was so funny. Davit got into the car and answered his question. “To the hotel then.” Jorge smiled as he drove. He figured he would want to stay close to Isabella’s. So, he took him to the hotel between his and Isabella’s house. Jorge thought of things as he drove. He was still so confused on a lot of things. However, all he knew is that he needed to find his sister.

Cole listened again as she spoke. “I know it’s not my fault, but still I’m sorry you had to go through that. That’s not fair.” He said with a gentle smile. He was sure falling for the girl more and more. He couldn’t help himself. He never met anyone like this girl before in his entire life. He had girlfriends before, but he never opened up to any of them. He nodded at her as she said it was rough. “Yeah, that’s true. Bullies suck big time. You are right so do parents sometimes. My mom was awesome though.”

Feeling relieved that Jorge had found his little act humorous. Davit leaned into his seat and he watched the houses pass by. He couldn’t wait to lay down and sleep, if sleep would allow him to have her for just one night.

He looked over at Jorge, ready to converse when he realized that Jorge was deep in thought. He couldn’t bring himself to bring him out of it, so he turned his attention to the road before them. Watching the passerbys come and go from his line of sight.

“No, no. I mean she was in India, I, … I don’t actually know why she’s here.” Lysander responded “Actually I meant I thought she was in India while kissing a random stranger. You see most people would cheat or kiss another person when they’re away from their partners to make sure they don’t get caught and to keep it hidden. When a person does that when they come to the place they know their paretner will be and most likely catch them … Then there’s two possibilities. Either it’s self sabotage or they have a danger fetish.” When the man said “I don’t think she’s here for me.” To which he said “I think it’s very likely she is here for you. Does she have any other reason to come here? Even if she does have some sort of reason, it might secretly be the reason to visit you.” Lysander figured this guy would never admit to doing anything wrong in the relationship and that it would take a while to get to it. He also figured when the guy would realize he was also to blame he would try to fix it, apologize or do anything to save the relationship. But him plainly admitting his fault surprised Lysander. “I left her in India because. because I am scared of commitment.” Lysander smiled as if he was proud of this man. “Wow, it takes a lot of guts to admit something like that. I know how proud some people might be when it comes to relationship and decide to blame the other person, when both are to blame.” As the man ordered a drink Lysander decided to down his and order a neat whiskey, but in a chilled glass. With his new drink in hand he turned to the man and said. “My question is … If you were scared of commitment, why did you get married in the first place? Did your family push you or something? Were you guys dating for a while and friends sort of … expected you guys would marry eventually?” During the pause in his speech Lysander wanted to say ‘My question is, [name]. If you were scared’ But he realized he didn’t know the man’s name. He extended his hand for a handshake “I’m Lysander, by the way.”

Isla ignored the strange man’s question and went up to the door again to knock.

“What the f… Isla … what?”

She turned around and saw that it was Rowan standing there. “Oh great.” She said with bitter sarcasm. Without wasting time, she walked up to him. “Where’s the evidence for Jorge’s crime? You said you had it, so show me.” She didn’t want to waste anymore time especially since she just wanted to go back to California already.

Josie didn’t want to have any sentimental conversations with him and instead avoided his eyes, although there was a small hum in her heart that she buried. “Of course I see you taking care of the child, that’s what a good father does right? Do you want to be a deadbeat? No you don’t.”

When she showed him her phone to text her husband, Josie let out a scoff when Shaun asked her that question, partly out of scoffing from annoyance and partly from the funny coincidence of their names.

“Sure just do what you want, here here.” Josie said, putting the phone in his hand. Her husband was going to send him a text soon so she stepped back and awkwardly played with her long fingernails before sitting down on the couch again. She wondered if this conversation was going to go well.

“I promise I’ll tell you if you ever overstep or make things awkward. Please don’t worry about it too much." The last thing Kavi wanted was for Danny to walk on eggshells around him, in fear of saying the wrong thing. “I wasn’t always this comfortable with it but at this point, I’ve lived with my hearing loss longer than I had without it. It’s just my life now and yeah, it’s hard sometimes but that’s why I make jokes.” He added with a shrug.

Kavi took a deep breath, sighing when Danny asked about his parents. Maybe he should have kept that part to himself. "They tried to raise me like I wasn’t disabled, treating my implants like a cure for my deafness when they weren’t.” He responded, looking at the ground. “There were some benefits, I guess. I’m really good at lipreading now but I had to find sign language lessons myself and they never learned it. I studied at a deaf university and even though I was in a foreign country, it was the first time in my life that I didn’t feel out of place” He added, not wanting to add too much negativity to the conversation. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to bring the mood down.” He apologized, rubbing the back of his neck.

He smiled shyly at the thought of Danny serenading him. “That sounds magical.” He responded, already beginning to see the film coming together in his head and feeling a sense of excitement over what the result of him working with him on this could be.

Kavi couldn’t help but chuckle at Danny’s reaction to him promising to go easy on him. Now, Kavi knew that his cat was more athletic than he was but Danny didn’t and that was the important part. “I don’t know if fireworks in a treehouse is a good idea but I’ll see what I can arrange on such short notice.” He teased after the man requested fireworks and confetti to celebrate his win, insinuating that it was a given.

Graciously, he let his opponent make the first shot and he had to stifle a laugh when he missed the target, insisting that it was just a practice shot. He picked up his own beanbag and threw it, also narrowly missing the target. “Well, if you get one, so do I.” He replied, using the man’s logic against him since it was clear that neither of them were going to admit defeat or weakness so early in the game.

She was satisfied with her color drink, but little did she know, it was just water with different food coloring to create the different layers with a small amount of edible glitter. To her, it had tasted the way it was meant to taste, but if another would of tried it, they would of known the truth.

She took her time enjoying her Irish Trash can while she eagerly awaited her brother’s text. Her anxiety had acted up when he had left her, but she did her best to hide it by drinking. But now she could feel like, crawling in the back of her mind. Just itching to take over.

Causally glancing around as she sipped her drink, she saw a stranger walking in. She wasn’t at all good at reading people, but she felt the need to complain, and who better else than a stranger. Locking eyes with the stranger, she waved him over to her table.

“heyyya there!”

She hadn’t fully expected him to come over so she didn’t plain to think out her words, but she watched him eagerly.

At the bar | With Rayla

Leaving Helen and Tommy with no other option but to do as he wanted, Dave walked straight to the reception. There he got himself a new room, which was priceyer than the last one considering it was short notice and only this was left. Leaving his credit card at the reception so the hotel has it on hand in case of damages, he headed for his new room with his bag in hand. He immediately took a shower to get the chlorine from his skin, put his clothes away to be dried by the hotel staff, and changed immediately.
Lying on his bed, looking up at the ceiling since his phone was destroyed, he lacked the will to turn the TV on. He had no interest in watching a romance, or a comedy, or God forbid, a romantic comedy. Usually in situations like this he would cheer himself up with a comedy, but watching a comedy now would just remind him of Helen and how betraye he felt considering Tommy.
Not having anything better to do while his phone was in a bag of rice as suggested by the helpful staff, he decided to get a drink or two. Maybe he hoped to see Ravneet there, maybe he just wanted to drink. He truly didn’t know, but he went anyways.
Turning up at the bar, he saw a drunk woman set his eyes on him.
Heyyya there! She muttered as he walked over to the bar.
“A dark Budweiser please.” He ordered. Having the feeling like he’s being watched, he looked to her and then to her drink, which looked both elaborate and vile. The bartender noticed he looked over to her drink and winked. Dave didn’t get what that meant. The bartender caught on and while handing him his drink he said “It’s water.” and Dave finally realized. Pointed to her drink, hiding the hand used for the point from her view, while rocking a quizical brow, just to make sure. The bartender nodded and even followed it with a whispered “Yes.” The bartender gave him the signal to get closer using his hand, and when he did, he whispered to Dave. “Could you please convince her to drink something less elaborate? Something clear or black like a cuba libre. She seems to have taken a liking to you.” They both looked at her after the last sentence and then both pulled apart. While the bartender was focusing on other customers, Dave turned to her and said “Hi.” Offering her an overdue answer to her previous greeting. Looking at her, he realized he could tell her all about Tommy and Helen and she could tell him if he’s in the wrong for what he did or not, as a person with no bias to any of them. Being drunk she might also be more truthful and not think before saying what’s really on her mind, which is what he needs. He pointed to the drink. “That looks funny.” Maybe if he makes her believe the drink is silly he might get her to consider somethinng else.

Natalie nodded, taking a drink. ”Yeah, I’m definitely not trying to souplike I’m pitying you. I’m just sympathetic. Like, that could’ve killed you. Anyone who isn’t a sociopath would feel bad for you to some extent. I can clearly see that you’re unscathed, so I feel bad, but I’m not like ‘holy sh*t, you poor baby!’ That would be really weird, especially since we just met. Like, you’re ok. Cool. Move on.” She nodded when Faust did he’d already run through the people he thought had harmed him. ”Yeah, it’s not really enough to lose sleep over. You’re ok, and that’s what matters.” She suddenly realized that it was probably really weird to pat him on the shoulder. There you go again, being weird. So much for not making a weirdo of yourself. Oh well. Having been invited to join him, Natalie stood up, moving over to his table. ”Thanks.” She then passed him her phone when asked. ”Sure, here you go.”

After Beck finished talking to Ravi, She stood outside of the mini bar room while looking at the pool, although her mind was still blown from the things Ravi told her. Firstly, she was married??? And secondly…she kissed Dave of all people? She didn’t think Dave would be her type, or maybe…just maybe…she was somewhat jealous herself. Why didn’t she get a kiss planted on her? She let out a sigh and stared into the distance for a while and stretched her arms. This was just a lot of juicy drama. She looked behind her at the mini bar room. It was completely empty. Even the bartender was gone! She wanted to get a Margarita or just any drink to wind down. So going to the other bar the glamping villa had was the best option.

She entered the bar. Her orange dress flowed behind her and the breeze from the open windows flowed through her hair. She saw people talking all around her in good spirits. The bar was sort of dark since the day was starting to wind down and it gave a comfortable but mischievous vibe. She waved at some people with a charming smile and sat down on one of the stools where two men happened to be talking next to her. She ordered a Margarita and waited for the drink while tapping her fingernails on the table. She was feeling good and single. She had decided to put thoughts of Shaun in the back of her mind for now but knew that once she got to California, she would be showing just how annoyed she was of him.

…Actually I meant I thought she was in India while kissing a random stranger…

…I left her in India because. because I am scared of commitment…

…question is … If you were scared of commitment, why did you get married in the first place?

She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and turned the other way slightly to pretend she wasn’t listening to the men next to her, but continued eavesdropping until her mouth opened from shock. this sounds like Ravi’s situation. Which one could possibly be her husband??? She stole a glance at the men full of excitement and surprise, but tried to hide it the best she could. She didn’t want to come off as a weird stranger but desperately wanted to know if the guy sitting there was Ravi’s husband.

“You sound familiar…” She finally said to the man she suspected was Ravi’s husband, using the most normal voice she could muster.

She had watched as he had ignored her for the bartender. Resting her head on her hand, she stirred her drink with a straw, combining the colors to a grayish color. She sighed feeling frustrated that she had no one to talk to. Part of her wanted to cry, while the other…she wasn’t sure what the other part of her wanted to do. Her emotions seemed to have stirred a little bit, but she felt numbed. Was it the effect of the alcohol?

She glanced at her phone… Nothing from her brother. She sent him another text.

She glanced it over before hitting send… It had looked alright to her. She stared at her drink, trying to sneak a few glanced at the stranger. He was very good looking. But she wonder if he was just eye candy or if his personality matches his looks.

“that looks funny.”

Looking at the man before her, her mind snapped back to reality. “Did he just called my drink funny?” She thought to herself as she looked at it intently. It no longer had the different colors nicely separated, and it had a hint of shiny little glitter in it. She bunched up her brows together and confusion. “I suppose it no longer has that magical galaxy feel to it anymore.” she spoke, feeling a bit sad that it was true. The once beautiful drink was now a ugly looking concoction.

“I understand. I get that people don’t want to sound like they’re pitying me, but sometimes that’s how it feels. Somehow, I connect this event with a small wound on my arm. It hurts and at first it felt like it was open, but it soon started healing, slowly. When people mentioned it and showed their sypathies it always felt like picking that wound and making it harder and slower to heal. Maybe I’ve gone to the point when reminding myself of it isn’t as frightening as it once was. Maybe that’s good, feels like I’m actually making progress.” Faust smiled at the fact he seemed to be getting better. He thought back at the way he was right after the accident, before he decided to hire Ezra, and he realized how although the change is slight, he is getting better.
When Natalie stood up and joined his table he felt happy she agreed to. He had a gut feeling she was a decent person, and he was happy to trust that gut feeling and become friends with her. He waved over a waiter, feeling he should at least get her a drink for having to talk business during her vacation. "What’ll you have? It’s on me. It’s the least I could do for your help. " He said and allowed her to order whatever she wanted and then ordered a Rob Roy for himself. When the waiter left he turned to her with a smile and said. “I’m aware there’s some key changes between Disney musicals and Broadway, but … I’m not sure what those are. Do you happen to know those differences? If you don’t you can just tell me what it’s like.”

“I suupose it hick hasn mmm the galaxy more.” Dave felt like what she said was a full sentence in her brain, but to him it sounded like nonsence. He said “Yeah.” hoping it wasn’t a question. He turned his full attention to her. “Why don’t you let me buy you a better drink? Would you like a …” He tried to remeber a drink that was monochrome, and landed on “A black Russian.” He added a smile hoping it will add to his attempt to convince her to a different drink.

Lysander

The man Lysander has been speaking to hasn’t had the time to give his name to Lysander since he introduced himself to the man, when a voice from behind Lysander’s back seemingly spoke to them.
“You sound familiar…” were her words. Lysander thought maybe he had been speaking to a celebrity and the woman was a fan, realizing he might find out his name this way, he didn’t say anything. Thinking the woman behind him was speaking to the other man, he was surprised when he turned around to see who the voice belonged to and noticed her looking at him. And that frightened him a little. Did she know about him? Did he know her? Is he familliar to her as he was familliar to Ryder? Or did she just mistake him for somebody else? “Are you sure you mean me? I’m just a nobody.” Becoming sceptical of her, he looked her over. She had an orange dress that clung tightly to her body. Too tightly to conceal any weapons, even underwear wouldn’t go unnoticed in a dress like that. Her shoes looked painful and weren’t worn for comfort. Looking at her elaborate makeup and the expensive material that shrouded her body he assumed she definitely mistook him for somebody else. “Who are you anyways?” Hoping he’d have struck a nerve, knowing that celebs who dress and look like her hate not being recognized, realizing she might be annoyed by that and leave him alone.
