“Is that how you introduce all your boyfriends, or am I just special?” he felt like the ground had dropped out from under him. ‘Boyfriend?’ The word echoed in his mind, a thunderous reminder of everything he hadn’t been trying to think about. Shaun’s heart raced as the words escaped Beck’s lips, “Oh, we’re actually going to sit … back there, right … Lysander?”

His legs turned to jelly, threatening to buckle under the weight of the moment. He cleared his throat, trying to muster confidence, but the energy in the air felt charged and electric. The joking tone of the man—Lysander, as Beck had named him—was like a punchline to a joke that only he hadn’t heard. He wasn’t supposed to feel this way. He wasn’t supposed to be rattled by a simple introduction. “Right,” Shaun managed to say, forcing a smile that felt tighter than it should. “Back there sounds great.” He nodded, his thoughts racing faster than his heart. They were going to sit back there. Away from him. Together.

He could feel embarrassment creeping up his neck as Beck exchanged a subtle glance with Lysander—one that Shaun couldn’t interpret but that made his stomach churn. He thanked whoever had decided to keep the theatres light somewhat low. “I just thought…” His voice faltered, and for a moment, he could see his mother, still sitting in her seat, blissfully unaware of the hot mess he was in. “Well, it’d be nice to catch up whenever you’re free.”

“What did I do in life to deserve a girlfriend that offers me what you just offered me? Hell, I’m not wasting the opportunity.” He felt foolish, standing there, the hopeful words he’d practiced in his mind slipping away like sand through his fingers. As Beck turned back to Lysander, chatter bubbling between them, Shaun realized he might have missed his chance. Had he even had a chance to begin with?

“I already saw the perfect seats back there with zero lighting. It’s very comfortable and cozy! i’ll show you.” Shaun felt an almost physical ache as he watched Beck lead Lysander away, her grip on his arm firm and casual, her smile wide and inviting.

“Enjoy the premiere,” he heard himself say, the words tumbling out as if dictated by someone else. There was no warmth in his tone like he’d intended, it was simply a hollow farewell. Their laughter echoed like a taunt in his ears. It was a stark contrast to the hollow feeling settling in his chest. He took a deep breath, trying to ground himself as he turned back toward his mother, reminding himself of the importance of this night.

Just as the theater darkened, and the first images began to flicker upon the screen, Shaun felt a pang of uncertainty wash over him. He glanced at her, her face illuminated by the flickering light from the screen, the excitement of the moment written in the crinkles around her eyes. Yet, beneath the surface, there was an unmistakable distance—a disconnection that pulled at his heart.

”Isn’t this just the best?” he said softly, nudging her playfully in an attempt to ignite her attention. She turned to him, her expression brightening, but not fully recognizing the connection.

“Oh, sweetheart, look at that! Such a handsome boy!” she exclaimed, her voice animated with joy as she pointed at the screen where a younger version of him was walking into frame. For a moment, Shaun’s chest tightened. He felt a pang of warmth mixed with sorrow.

He had expected this—understood that the person he had become would remain a mystery to her. The years had taken so much from her, peeling away memories like layers from an onion, leaving behind snippets of the past that often felt like fragile wisps of smoke.

“Yeah, it’s me…Mom,” he replied, forcing a smile that felt genuine. “I’m here.” He reached out, gently squeezing her hand. Her warmth brought a sense of grounding, a reminder that amidst everything, they still had these moments together.

“But, my little boy…,” she said, her brows furrowing slightly. It was one of those moments he had come to recognize—the recurring threads of worry that danced through her mind since her diagnosis. Each fleeting instance of confusion tugged at his heart, a raw reminder of the battles they faced together.

“You don’t need to worry. I’ll always be right here,” he reassured her. Shaun tried to focus, but he felt the weight of what distracted him just moments ago linger in his chest. Each scene on the screen played against a backdrop of his thoughts, swirling between the film’s narrative and the vivid memory of Beck’s smile, her laughter. But whenever his gaze flickered away from the screen, it landed on his mom, her eyes bright with anticipation, and that alone became a tether.

“Look, the lights are dancing,” she said, pointing at the flickering images, her enthusiasm infectious. “Isn’t it beautiful?”

“It really is,” Shaun agreed, allowing himself to get caught up in her wonder. He watched as she leaned forward, her fingers tapping softly on the armrest, fully engaged in the unfolding story.

“Who’s that?” she asked, squinting at the screen as a character came into focus. There was a slight furrow in her brow, a familiar sign of her trying to connect the dots.

“It’s Shaun. Your son.” The words felt both heavy and light, an anchor in the stormy sea of their lives. She gazed at him for a heartbeat, confusion flickering behind her eyes. “Yes, yes, my little angel,” she replied, her smile unwavering. “You were always so full of life. Look at that little face! You always had to be in front of people,”

Lucy smiled and giggled as Rayla got on the table and danced. She wasn’t sure why this was so funny. Rayla then asked Helen truth or dare. As all the ladies were waiting for Helen’s answer. Josie interrupted by saying “Wait! You can still ask Hellen but I have a dare for Lucy.” Lucy smiled being intrigued by what this dare could possibly be. She stared at Josie and waited for her to say this dare. She decided to down her drink as Josie said the dare. Which was “I want you to go over there to that guy and ask him rate your looks 1 out of 10. Then get him to join us in the game.” Lucy smiled mischievously as she said “So easy… I could do that in my sleep.” She said as she stood up and walked over to the guy sitting at the bar with confidence. As she walked over to the bar, she thought about what she might say. She was so excited to have this fun. She was so focused on her goal or the dare that she didn’t notice anyone else. She reached the stranger and put on her most charming smile on her face. “Hey there handsome. So, would you like to rate my looks on a scale of 1 out of 10?” She looked back at the ladies with a smile and a wink. Then focused back on the stranger in front of her. She let him answer the rate question, then she asked “Well, since you were so sweet with your answer. Why don’t you come join our group of ladies for some truth or dare?” She smiled charmingly at the guy waiting for his response. She really hoped he would come join them. She knew she was hot.

Hearing the compliments pile in made her blush, she became aware of her surroundings. She looked over at Lucy, seeing what her dare was that seemed a bit forced on her. But she knew she’d be entertained by this nonetheless. Watching with great interest, as Lucy made her way to complete her dare. Rayla wondered what the guy would answer to the rating part of the dare, she hoped to get an answer when they returned.

She turned her attention back to Helen. Anticipating her answer. She hadn’t given either answer much thought, but she felt like once she heard a answer, the question or date would just form out of nowhere. “Dare” Her mind raced for a dare. But nothing came to mind.

Her eyes darted around, trying to find something to make a dare, dare worthy. “I dare you to…” . She replied slowly, still trying to find a good dare… then a thought popped up as she turned her gaze back on Helen. A smile formed on her face as she leaned back in her seat. “I dare you to kiss the person within our group, you think could be the hottest amongst us Ladies.” . This dare didn’t really feel like a daring dare to give, but it’d be a fun lighthearted dare. Either way Rayla was pleased with this dare.

Faust didn’t want to talk back to somebody whose brain worked overtime to make excues for himself for his own cognitive dissonance. This man, who has never stepped on stage in his life, tried to tell Faust who has been both on stage and in front of a camera multiple times, that he thinks one of those actions is harder than the other, when he hasn’t done on of the actions … To a person who has done both of those actions multiple times and is claiming otherwise. Faust recognized that this was either collosall narcisism, or cognitive dissonance or both. “Of course acting seems hard to you. You’re just a mediocre actor working with people who are obviously better than you, having to keep up with them. Of course it’s exhausting and you’re under a lot of pressure when you have to keep up with good actors. But tell you what … I’ll cut you some slack. I’ll make a production, a musical. Something well known, like Phantom of the Opera. And I’ll have you star in it, just to show you how hard it actually is to work in theater. However … even though I’ve acted before with huge stars, I’ve only ever done it before they were huge. So now, I maybe need to act with some of the best, just to see what it’s like.” Faust didn’t like to be in the habbit of losing money, and he knew the production would fail if in the lead role he put Bennett, but that is why he decided to make a production that would fail in order for him to get money. He wan’t going to sabotage Bennett, oh no, every dancer, every chorus member, every of Bennett’s co-stars would be talented people and they would be told not to mess up, but it would be Bennett’s performance alone that ruins it, so he decided there was no avoiding it, really.

Avery rubbed the back of their neck, smiling in relief. They let out a breath they didn’t even know they’d been holding. ”Yeah, I know I shouldn’t worry about it, but that’s easier better said than done, you know? It can be pretty dangerous for gender nonconforming people. If you don’t fit into their boxes, you get judged. That’s not my problem, I could care less what people think. It’s the verbal and even physical attacks that are the problem. People just won’t leave me alone. I try to keep a low profile, but I’m a…somewhat well known actor, so that’s not exactly easy…I sometimes just wish I was cis. I’m not, though, and I’m learning to deal with it.” Avery started rambling, wringing their hands nervously. ”Also, if you’re interested in a label, you’d be a demiboy. I know that not everyone likes labels, though.”

Danny lay awake, the soft morning light filtering through his curtains illuminating the room, but the brightness did little to ease the knot in his stomach. He sat up, brushed his tousled hair back, and took a deep breath, trying to shake off the anxiety that clung to him like a second skin. Today wasn’t just any day; he had a meeting with Aisling Jang-Doyle, and the weight of what he wanted to discuss loomed heavy in his mind.

Danny only vaguely of her law degree, something Artemis had mentioned in passing. Who knew it’d be helpful now? He swung his legs over the edge of the bed, the cool floor grounding him for a moment before his thoughts spiraled again. What was he even doing? Stepping away from the management of his parents felt like standing on the precipice of an emotional cliff. He adored them, but the pressure was becoming unbearable.

Danny glanced at his phone, the screen lighting up with notifications. Just a few minutes ago, he’d innocently thought about delaying the release of his upcoming album. A thought that had been so reoccurring. A thought turned into a decision, and a decision that led him to post it on Instagram—a public declaration that made him feel both liberated and terrified. The comments flooded in, fans expressing their support, but now, he couldn’t help but feel the weight of their expectations heavier than usual.

Danny’s Instagram Post

Hey everyone,

I hope this message finds you all well! I wanted to take a moment to reach out and speak from the heart. First off, I just want to say thank you for your incredible support and patience over the past few months. You guys mean the world to me, and it’s because of you that I strive to create music that resonates.

I have to share some news that’s been weighing on me. I’ve decided to push back the release date of my album, The Art of Falling. I know this may be disappointing, and I truly apologize for any letdown this may cause. The truth is, I’ve been pouring my heart and soul into this project, and I want to ensure that it reflects the highest quality and creativity possible—a true representation of the journey I’ve been on.

Right now, I don’t have an exact new release date to share, but I promise I’ll keep you all updated as we move forward. This album means so much to me, and I want it to be something you can feel proud of and connect with on a deeper level.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. I can’t wait to share this next chapter with all of you. In the meantime, I’ve got some exciting surprises in store, so stay tuned!

Sending all my love your way,

Danny :sparkling_heart:

As he scrolled through the comments, he felt a pang of guilt shoot through him. Perhaps he should have consulted his parents before taking such a drastic step. But he needed to take control of his career. There was so much more at stake than just an album release; it was his identity, his voice, and he was tired of feeling like a marionette guided by strings he didn’t control.

Danny moved quietly through the familiar hallways, careful not to disturb the stillness of the early morning. He could hear the faint sounds of his parents’ hushed words from their room, a reminder that he was still under the watchful eye of their expectations. He kept moving.

He reached the kitchen, where Howard, his elderly driver, was already sipping a cup of coffee. Howard had been with the family for decades, a silent guardian of sorts. As Danny approached, there was an understanding between them, a bond formed over years of late-night drives and shared secrets—okay, maybe just Danny’s secrets.

Without a word, Howard raised an eyebrow, silently asking if Danny was truly ready for this. The young musician nodded, his heart racing with a mix of trepidation and excitement. Howard returned the nod and reached into his pocket, producing the keys to the SUV— the one with the tinted windows—as dark as California legally allowed, perfect for slipping away unnoticed.

Danny took the keys with a grateful smile, the metal cold in his palm, a tangible symbol of independence. He turned to head toward the garage, moving with a determination that propelled him forward, despite the gravity of the decisions that lay ahead.

Once inside the SUV, he turned the ignition, the engine purring to life, a sound that felt like freedom. He backed out of the driveway carefully, glancing in the rearview mirror for any sign of his parents stirring. With a sigh of relief, he pressed down on the gas and pulled onto the quiet road leading away from the mansion.

As he reached the end of his long driveway, his phone buzzed with a notification. He glanced down, his heart sinking as he read the headline: “Danny Gray Announces World Tour to Support Upcoming Album!” The shock settled like a rock in his stomach. Danny slammed on the breaks to grab his phone before pulling onto the main road. His parents had gone to the press without even discussing it with him! The very thought sent a wave of frustration washing over him. They were making decisions for him, still pulling strings like he was their prized puppet.

He quickly swiped to unlock his phone, scrolling through the flood of messages from fans full of excitement and support. “I can’t believe it!” one message read. “When can we get tickets?” another followed. He could feel the panic creeping in. World tour? He took a deep breath and pulled onto the main road.

Danny pulled into the coffee shop they’d agreed on, early. Right next to a black porch he’d recognized instantly. He’d seen Artemis and Aisling emerge from it plenty of times. As he creeped into the stop directory next to it, he rolled down his window, pulling his glasses to peer in. As her window came down, he leaned out slightly. “Maybe here isn’t a good place to meet? I… I’m kind of trending on Instagram and X right now.”

James Matthew was visiting Beverly Shores to spend time with some of his friends who lived there and meet with his agent to discuss a new movie venture. Tonight, he decided to get a drink at Club Ivy with a couple of friends just to experience the nightlife. He and his friends naturally ended up splitting up and James ended up flirting and chatting with different Partygoers, having the time of his life. Now, he was at the bar ordering a drink. He was single and he enjoyed playing the ladies man and flirting, but these days the idea of settling down seemed more and more promising.

As he looked across the room, he noticed a woman with red hair dancing on the table and a few guys whistling and gawking at her. He smiled, knowing that her friends at the other table probably set her up for it. He took a sip of his Manhattan beverage when he saw one of the ladies at the table looking at him. He could spot her blue eyes from across the room but he couldn’t see her much since it was dark where she was sitting.

He turned his focus back to the bar because it was natural for women to stare and gawk at him after years of being in the entertainment industry. A smirk still cornered his lips. When he looked at the women again, she was walking towards him, or rather strutting towards him. He could see her shapely curves that were complimented by her green dress, and her smile was nice and inviting.

A wide smile appeared on James face. “Damn, you’re absolutely gorgeous.” He leaned on the bar, his body moving a bit closer to hers.

“Hey there handsome. So, would you like to rate my looks on a scale of 1 out of 10?”

He laughed a bit at her question. It was so out there and he was sure that one friend who was talking to her dared her to do it. “That’s easy sweetheart, you’re a 10.” His eyes scanned down her dress as he smiled harder. He couldn’t help himself. This was probably the most beautiful woman he’d seen in a long time. “Ten’s all the way baby…WOOO” He whistled and chuckled, loving the question she asked. If it was possible he would have answered 1000 but that wasn’t on the scale.

“Well, since you were so sweet with your answer. Why don’t you come join our group of ladies for some truth or dare?”

“Mmm, and what will you do if I don’t? Will you stay here with me? Maybe we can get to know each other a bit better…” He teased, leaning a bit closer. “But yeah I can come.” He waited for her to lead him to the group. He was excited to see what would happen. It was an unusual situation alright, and the ladies were probably playing some game of truth or dare, but he was looking for some spontaneous fun tonight and he was down for this.

Lucy smiled and slightly blushed when the guy said “Damn, you’re absolutely gorgeous.” She looked into his eyes then said the rating thing. She couldn’t help but smile as he looked her up and down. She could see the big smile on his face as he said “That’s easy sweetheart, you’re a 10. Ten’s all the way baby…WOOO” She giggled some before she asked him about coming to join them. He responded with “Mmm, and what will you do if I don’t? Will you stay here with me? Maybe we can get to know each other a bit better…” She smiled at him as he moved closer to her. She placed her hand on his arm as he said “But yeah I can come.” She giggled a little more. “Well, we can get to know each other as we play the game handsome. I’m Lucy by the way.” She said as she held out her hand. “What’s your name handsome?” She asked as she grabbed his hand and turned to lead him back towards the ladies. Even as she walked with this sexy stranger. Her mind couldn’t help but be on Blake.

She grabbed his hand and led him away, asking what his name was. He loved the fact that she was taking control and her question sort of surprised him since usually people knew who he was. “James Matthew darling…” His eyes trailed down her backside as she continued walking and leading him to the group which made him smile even more.

“…but i’m more concerned about what your name is beautiful…” He said, making sure that his voice was sultry and low. He had to make sure that this woman knew he meant business and how he always goes for what he wants, and right now, all he could see was her.

When they finally got to the group, James took in everything that was happening. He heard the red head from earlier asking someone if they want a truth or dare. ah, I knew it. he thought to himself. He made sure to put on a charming smile and wave. This wasn’t the first time he was around a group of ladies, but usually it involved his other friends or an interviewer. Either way, whatever they were doing looked fun so he sat down wherever there was room, which ended up being next to someone with a blue dress. He heard the dare that the red head gave which seemed spicy. He couldn’t help but laugh.

He leaned in a bit closer to Lucy to ask her something so she could hear him, making his lips lightly hover on her ear. “So, these are these your group of friends? Do you often have parties like this?” He asked, chuckling a bit knowing that it was probably true. He knew that she was probably single and enjoying her life. His hand lightly touched her backside

Isla could see that the situation was getting out of control so she yelled “STOP EVERYONE!” But her girlfriend Leah was still yelling at Isabella but Isabella responded and asked who tf Isla was. Even Rowan was confused, he was even confused about who her girlfriend was.

“Yes it’s me guys I -”

"I’M HER GIRLFRIEND I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE HERE!"Leah yelled, raising her voice at Rowan. “Yeah she might be bald and crazy, but that’s still my girlfriend. That’s more than I can say about this TRAMP over here.” She said, pointing to Isabella.

“LEAH STOP!” She grabbed Leah’s arm and tried to pull her away from Rowan, but she released her arm from her grip “leave me alone! You’re seriously stalking your ex girlfriend like a maniac and you think it’s supposed to be normal? You know what, I’m done with this entire situation.” She pushed Isla until she fell to the ground, then she got in her car and drove off, hitting Rowan’s car.

Isla started crying while sitting on the ground. Her girlfriend probably was going to break up with her and now she was alone. Now Isabella was watching her be a complete fool. She also wondered why Rowan was there because the last time she had talked to him she was suspicious of his involvement in her kidnapping, but she guessed he wasn’t. She didn’t have time to think about that now, because she just felt like a jackass.

Isla left the house not being able to look at Isabella. Maybe one day she could talk to her In better circumstances. She ran away like a kid being caught stealing candy and got in her car.

Over the next few days, Isla decided to visit Hawaii where a lot of her family on her uncle Blake’s side lived so she could clear her mind and get better. At first she was going to go alone but she ended up making up with Leah, and they went to go fix their relationship. So, she stayed there for about a month, completely cutting off anyone from Beverly Shores and making sure not to look at anything about Isabella. She posted pictures of herself with Leah, showing off her life that she was in the process of renewing.

Tommy was holding little TJ when his phone went off. He was watching Tj’s favorite show Bluey. Tommy loved spending these moments with his son. Tommy being a manager and being gone so often it was a nanny who watched him most of the time. He didn’t know his mom because she wasn’t ready to be a mom when he was born. Tommy’s phone vibrated, he looked at it and it was Savannah.

Hey Tommy, and oh no what is he asking exactly? And to be honest I was thinking about him lately.

Tommy felt all kind of emotions while reading Savannah’s text. He didn’t know what to say to her. He took a deep breath before typing out the message.

He was just asking why he didn’t have a mommy. I told him he does, it’s just complicated. You were the one who chose you weren’t ready and that you didn’t want to be a mom. So, why are you thinking about him? I’m nice by sending you pics every so often.

He hoped this didn’t hurt her too much. Afterall, they were still good friends and worked together.

Cole smiled as they stood there. He nodded his head at the stuff Avery was saying. He didn’t understand it really, but he knew not to be rude. “So, to spot someone you just watch the bar. if the bar starts to go down when it’s supposed to go up. You get an alternative hand grip, meaning one hand facing upward and one hand facing downward, and you grab the bar. Then you help them lift the bar back up to rest.” Cole hoped he made sense with this. He smiled as he watched Ezra get on the bench.

After her frozen moment she looked back at what was going around her. She saw Lucy just strut up to the mystery man and was curious what he rated her. By the look of his smile or smirk she could tell he probably said she was a 10 then they both came over and sat down. Then Helen said Dare and Rayla dared Helen to kiss the person within out group that could be the hottest amongst us ladies which peaked Savannah’s interest more. She would love to know who the other ladies were the hottest out of our group, even if they are not into ladies. Savannah’s phone then went off again and she saw it was Tommy and she took a breath and opened it. She thought one part of the message was rude but she understood it’s been 5 years and she never really asked any questions about there son besides how is he really.

Oh that is understandable and rough and I guess he is now at the point where he asks questions a lot and notices. I know you sending pictures of Tyler every so often Tommy, I never said it wasn’t, but Tyler is also my son and I do have a right to think about him, you don’t have to be so mean about it. I know you have a right to be cautious but still you know me as a person Tommy. If you must know I have been thinking about him because I want to meet him Tommy, I want to see the little man again. I’ve grown up and matured in the last 5 years. We obviously can meet in public at a restaurant and we don’t even have to tell him we can just say I am your friend or something and start off slow, but I want to see him Tommy.

She then looks at the girls and this new guy “I’m going to get another drink or shots. Anyone want anything?”

Isabella stood there stunned by what was happening before them. The girl… She was Isla’s girlfriend. So, it was really over for her and Isla. Isabella was confused when Isla stepped into view. She had cut off all her hair. Isabella was shocked by this. Then the girl yelled again and called Isabella a Tramp. After everyone but Rowan left. Isabella ran inside. She went to her bathroom and cried for a few minutes. Then she got dressed and fixed her hair and makeup to go to the club. Once she was fully ready, she walked back downstairs. She looked at Rowan “Ready to go?” She asked Rowan as she headed to the door. She was so past ready to drink. She wanted to text Davit to ask him to meet her at the bar. However, she decided she needed some liquid courage first. So, she headed out to the car.

Rowan never really liked Isla. He always thought she was intense and that she was bad for Isabella, but didn’t want to show his feelings until after they broke up. But when she shaved her head and started interrogating him about Isabella. How much she was willing to do to find her, Rowan felt that he misjudged her before. He still thinks she’s intense, but in a positive way. What’ss the word? Fierce!
“I’M HER GIRLFRIEND I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE HERE!” He looked at the woman, realizing she was everything he thought Isla was, when he first met and disliked her. Then he looked at Isla and thought how he could’ve been so wrong about a person until now.
Then this stranger somehow found the audacity to call her own girlfriend bald and crazy. “Don’t call Isla crazy, and she’s not bald because she has a buzzcut. You shown so much disrespect to every woman present here that I wonder how you ever convinced Isla to start dating you. Just because you’re loud and mouthy and resort to namecalling, doesn’t mean you’re entitle to anything, let alone anybody’s respect. You’re only entitle to have the cops called on you for harrasement and tresspassing.”
Isla rose to defend Isabella, or that is what Rowan thought she would do, had she not been pushed back to the ground by Leah.
Leah, as Isabella called her, mentioned something about Isla stalking, and Rowan got angry at Leah. He didn’t know exactly what Isla was doing, but he knew it wasn’t stalking (more like he told himself it wasn’t stalking but concern). The resentment he’s build up for years started to get out and he was seeing red. Once Leah said “I’m done with this entire situation.” Rowan started menacingly, but slowly walking towards her and said “You better go.” He said with a monotone voice. He had no weapons and there was no threat of violence said by him, but his gaze was enough to make the woman go to her car and drive off. In the rush to get away she hit Rowan’s car, but Rowan didn’t care, as long as she was gone. No one hurts both Isabella and Isla in front of him. He turned around to notice Isabella frozen in fear, discomfort and confusion. She was gazing at Isla, who was sitting on the floor, facing away from both of them, silently weeping. He walked up closer to Isla, wnating to comfort her, but knowing she dislikes him, and has every reason to. Had she known the truth about the kidnapping, she would hate him even more. He looked at Isabella, who might actually comfort her, but she stood there frozen in shock. He wasn’t about to let Isla just cry and feel embarrased and judged by them because that woman, LeAh, decided to go mental. He walked into the house, grabbed two blankets and his phone. He watched out the window to see if Isla was still there as he ordered a taxi. He walked out and put one of the two blankets around Isabella. That was for shock victims, he knew to do that because he was given a blanket when leaving the house wher his sister commited suicide. He turned to Isla and gently put a soft blanket over her kneeling figure. He whispered “The leaves were dripping with morning dew, dont want you to get a cold. Since your uhh … girlfriend drove off with your ride I ordered you a taxi. It should be here in two minutes.” He stayed outside until the car came round just ot make sure Isla was all right and to pay the taxi driver since he gave no instruction to the taxi driver where to go in case he gave a destination Isla didn’t want to go to. When she left, Isabella was still on the porch. Rowan went inside, kept the door open and Invisted Isabella inside. Rowan really needs a drink now. Isabella locked herself in the bathroom and although he needed a drink, he couldn’t possibly enjoy it until he knew she was alright … And that didn’t seem to be the case because he could hear crying through the door. He didn’t want to knock or bother her, knowing she probably wants time and peace to cry it out and progress what just happened. Maybe she was also a little hurt to know Isla had moved on . Isabella went out of the bathrrom ready to go and asked him if he would join her. He was happy she seemed better but he still asked her “Are you sure you’re ready?” insuating she might still need to take more time to process what just happened. However when he looked over her outfit he gasped. “Isabella … I know this is LA, but it’s still December and it’s cold out tonight, please wear a jacket at least.” He looked at the incredibly short dress with holes. Thankfully there was a modesty skin colored fabric underneath so she wasn’t showing off anything althought it seemed like she was. Rowan thought the dress was ok, he’s seen worse from her colleagues, but he figured such a classy and nice person wouldn’t wear a dress that makes them look like they’re naked. He didn’t want to say anything at the risk of sounding like her parents and he knew this was her way of coping sometimes. He then proposed. “I’ll go and get ready, by then you can find something warm enough to cover yourself with.” He rushed getting ready just in case she decided she didnt’ want to wear a jacket or a coat over her dress, either catch a cold or catch somebody to have a drunked night with, when he’s not there to make sure she doesn’t get too drunk or taken advantage off, especially in that dress. He changed and then headed out to the parking lot in front of her house. "“Let’s take yours, you probably wouldn’t want to get to the bar in a little red dress with your makeup and hair all done nicely, in an old car with a huge, fresh dent.”
He drove to some club called ‘Club Ivy’ and sat at a table with Isabella. He insisted they don’t sit at the bar because if they both sit at the bar, other, creepy men at the bar would find it easier to approach her, or try to get her drunk. Rowan knows that neither she nor he would want that type of attention coming her way, so they sat at a booth.
The bartender brought them their first round of drinks and Rowan told her that she can drink as much as she wants, if he’s there with her. He planned that his first drink would be alcoholic, to help his nerves, but that for the remainder he’d stick to sodas.

“I dare you to…” Rayla slowly replied, still trying to find a good dare… Then, a smile formed on her face as Rayla leaned back in her seat. “I dare you to kiss the person within our group, you think could be the hottest amongst us Ladies.” First off, Rayla was out. The idea of kissing her manager (and more??)—Tommy’s baby sister, no less—was a line Helen wasn’t willing to cross. Next, there was Josie, whose pregnancy glowed on her cheeks but also put her firmly off-limits. Then there was Lucy, who was in constant contact with this Blake guy. Regardless of this Blake—Lucy was also talking to some random dude for her dare currently.

So yeah, maybe Helen was overthinking this one. But that left Savannah. From what Helen could remember, Savannah was open to exploring non-heterosexual relationships or at least experiences that danced along that spectrum. Feeling the warmth of the tequila coursing through her, Helen took a step toward Savannah, the laughter of the group fading into a background hum. “Alright, Savannah. You’re the lucky woman,” Helen raised her brows, before realizing Savannah was on her phone when Helen turned to her.

“May I?” Helen asked, her voice barely above a whisper, laced with nervous anticipation. She searched Savannah’s eyes, looking for any hint of hesitation, and listened to her answer.

With a surge of confidence—or maybe those last two shots, Helen gently cupped Savannah’s cheek with her hand, the warmth of her skin igniting a fire in the pit of her stomach. She leaned in slowly, as if savoring every moment of this unexpected connection. The distance between them closed, and her heart thudded in her chest. Helen felt the heat radiating from Savannah, a magnetic pull drawing her nearer. Time seemed to stretch as she hovered just inches away, drinking in the anticipation that hung thick in the air.

she pressed her lips against Savannah’s, tentative at first, a whisper of contact, testing the waters. The kiss was soft and sweet, a gentle exploration that sent tingles down her spine. Helen was surprised by how natural this felt, as if they had danced this dance before—two souls colliding in a moment of unrestrained possibility.

As they pulled apart, breathless and slightly dazed, Helen’s eyes sparkled with mischief. “Wow,” she breathed, her cheeks flushed. “That was… something.”

“So, these are these your group of friends? Do you often have parties like this?” Said random guy that Lucy had brought to the group. Helen turned to the group as Savannah looked at each girl and this new guy “I’m going to get another drink or shots. Anyone want anything?” She asked. “Could you grab me a water please,” Helen asked, doing the universal prayer hands.

Once Savannah sent that text she heard Helen say "Alright, Savannah. You’re the lucky woman,” Savannah looked up and gave her a smile she didn’t mind, heck she wouldn’t mind kissing any of the girls, and right now she needs a little distraction, maybe after Tommy responds one last time she will say they will talk about it later. Helen then walked up to her and they got close to each other and Helen asked “May I?” , Savannah looked in her eyes “Why I would be honored Helen.” Helen then cupped my cheek with her hand which felt very warm on my face and Savannah smiled at her more probably with her her cheeks red as she feels like she is blushing a little. She can tell Helen was a little nervous, but she imagined that Helen probably never kissed a female before, but then again who knows. Helen then closed the distance more and pressed her lips against Savannah’s which was tentative at first and it was soft and gentle. As they kissed Savannah smiled and wrapped her arms gently around Helens neck and may have deepened it just a little but not much so it wasn’t awkward. Savannah thought Damn, Helen is a good kisser and I like how light the kiss is and how sweet it is. It was a kinda romantic kiss and I don’t mind it one bit.] [/spoiler] then Helen pulled away and Savannah could see Helen’s eyes sparkled with mischief and was slightly dazed and she was flustered. Then she was “Wow," and “That was… something.” Savannah felt like that was a compliment so she was taking it. “Yes it was amazing and now I can say I know you are a great kisser to.”

Then she heard the new guy say something which snapped her attention back to the group and Helen asked Savannah to bring her back a water "Water coming up, anyone else want anything?

Lucy smiled as he said his name. The tone in his voice seemed surprised that she didn’t know him. There was a lot of people in the area that she didn’t know. They slowly walked over to the girls. Then he said “…but i’m more concerned about what your name is beautiful…” Lucy turned slightly towards him and smiled before replying “I’m Lucy… Lucy Smith. I’m shocked you had to ask. I am a pretty famous country singer.” She smiled and giggled as they reached the group. She was pretty happy to be back with the girls. They sat down next to each other. James was between her and Savannah while Lucy was between him and Rayla. Lucy looked at the ladies. “I’m back bitches..” She said and giggled. Lucy listened as Rayla dared Helen to kiss someone within the group. She did wonder however Helen’s reasoning for kissing Savannah of all the ladies in the group.

Then James whispered as he leaned in and spoke in her ear “So, these are these your group of friends? Do you often have parties like this?” He chuckled some and lightly touched her backside. This made Lucy smile and maybe blush a little. She felt the electricity when his fingers touched her. She did love the attention. Especially since her thoughts on why Steven and she got married in the first place. She felt he thought of it more as a chore then something he wanted to do. Lucy had never really worn a wedding ring. Maybe that was because of how she felt about their marriage. She did love Steven; it was just that she wasn’t in love with him anymore. Lucy looked at him and smiled as she whispered back “Yes, they are my friends, even though I just met most of them tonight officially.” She giggled then continued “This is actually our first girl’s night out. We here in Beverly Shores have parties all the time.” She smiled at him as she heard Savannah ask if anyone else wanted a drink.

However, by the time Lucy went to respond Savannah was already gone. Now wasn’t it technically Savannah’s turn to ask someone… Lucy knew everybody plays differently. So, she wasn’t sure who was supposed to ask someone next. Lucy was a little sad that Helen didn’t even try to kiss her. While Lucy is straight, she did enjoy kissing girls here and there. Her preference was just men not women. However, she really liked kissing girls too. She couldn’t wait to see where this night would lead her. Who she might kiss, who she might go home with. She knew she wasn’t going back to her house this night. She was determined to have a great night and forget what happened in Brazil.

She slowly placed her hand on James’s arm in a flirtatious way. She didn’t care who was watching. This man was hot as f^*k. She was excited that he chose to come over with her and join the game. She knew he would just make this night even better than it is now. Part of her wanted to kiss him just to do it. The other part of her was saying no. She now knew what she needed. She needed more alcohol. She wondered why Blake didn’t text her back. Her mind started racing as she sat there in a daze.

Why hasn’t he messaged me back since the first picture? Is he mad at me? Does he hate me? What did I do? She wondered as she sat there touching James on his arm. She was in her own head about more than just Blake. She couldn’t believe she was at this club about to have all this fun with these ladies. Plus, the strange hot man sitting beside her all close. It felt public yet private at the same time. The waitress came over and that snapped Lucy back to reality. She smiled at the lady and asked for another strong $ex on the beach for herself and 3 rounds of shots for everyone at the table but Josie of course.

Once the waitress came back with the drinks. Lucy smiled and handed the ladies and James each their three shots. She smiled as she said “Here is to a great night filled with fun and great company!” She smiled as she downed the two of the three shots and took a sip of her drink. She then looked at James with a look of lust. She wanted nothing more in this moment than to kiss him. She debated the thought as she leaned in closer to him, but not too close. She was sure all the girls were watching her closely. However, she didn’t care. Then she said “This one is to meeting new people and making new friends!'” She giggled and winked at James then downed her last shot. She took a big gulp of her drink.

Seeing as Helen had placed a kiss on Savannah, she herself felt pretty surprised by this. After all they were all pretty gorgeous. She wondered what prompted Helen to choose Savannah out of them all. But she cheered the kiss on with a loud “oWwowW” . She was feeling pumped up and wanted to keep the adrenaline running. Her attention was snapped short when Lucy returned back to the group with a man. She eyed him as if he was candy. “damn was he good looking.” she thought to herself. She turned her attention back to Savannah. “yeah. I could use a glass or two of that H2O”

Tommy sat there watching the show with his little boy. He did feel bad that he didn’t tell Helen about Tj yet, but hell his ex-Quincy didn’t even know about Tj. They were together for like eight months. Tommy was very cautious of who he let into Tj’s life since his own mother didn’t want to be a part of it till now apparently. He read Savannah’s message and was shocked by what he read. Why after five years does she want to meet my son. Sure, she has the right to think about him, but what if she ever wanted to take him. That would kill me. She did verbally tell me that he was better off with me, but she could always decide to take him. Since she is his mother.*

Tommy’s mind was racing with all kinds of thoughts. He had to shake his head to finish reading her text. He placed his phone down for a moment. So, he could clear his head before texting her back. He didn’t want to come up as rude again in Savannah’s eyes. So, he took a few deep breaths and set Tj down on the couch beside him. He loved spending time with his little man. Once he was good and clam, he decided to reread her message.

Tommy did know Savannah as a person. Tommy also knew that she had gotten more mature of the past five years. However, part of him knew she would never really be ready to be a mom. Especially not to Tj who looked a lot like his daddy. Tommy decided to respond.

I wasn’t trying to be mean Savannah. I was just saying. Look… I will think about it okay. I don’t want to confuse Tj. You know my ex didn’t even know about him. Hir and I were together for like eight months are more. I am very careful who I left in his life. I’m not saying you can’t meet him. I just have to work out what I’m going to tell him and all that for now. I just want what is best for him and safest for him. I hope you can understand that.

Tj

Tommy decided to be nice and send a picture of Tj to Savannah with the text. His emotions were flying in all directions. He needed grounding in this moment. He took a deep breath as his mind race to Helen and what she might think and say when she finds out. He wanted to tell her more than anything in this world. However, at the same time he had to protect his son. His son was the most important person in the world to him, and that is why nobody knew about him. It wasn’t something that he advertised at all. Only a select few people knew about Tj. As he sat there thinking about Helen, he decided to text her. Maybe checking on her would help ground him back in place.

Hey babe, I just wanted to check in on you. Tell you I was thinking about you, and that I can’t wait to see you. Stay safe and remember if you need me… Text or Call me.

He hit send without a second thought. He knew he wanted to see her. He needed to see her soon. He needed to tell Helen before anyone else could tell her. Since he was falling so hard for Helen… He felt he owed her the truth, and that it would be better coming from him instead of someone else. However, with both his baby mama and his baby sister with the girl he is falling in love with… He was almost doomed for her to find out.

Isabella couldn’t help but laugh when Rowan asked “Are you sure you’re ready? Isabella … I know this is LA, but it’s still December and it’s cold out tonight, please wear a jacket at least.” She giggled and responded “Yes… Dad I’m sure that I am ready.” She giggled even harder. “I was planning on getting a jacket from the coat closet on the way out.” She smiled as he went upstairs. While Rowan went up to get ready. Isabella realized that she needed jewelry and accessories to match her outfit. She also decided to get a jacket to coverup till they make it to the club. Then he went to her car and got in the passenger seat. Since she didn’t feel like driving. The arrived at Club Ivy. Isabella was in awe of the place. She actually hadn’t been to this club yet. So, she was super excited. She had only heard about it from some ladies in the shores. She couldn’t believe she finally made it here. They walked in and it was so purple.

Even though Isabella liked red better, she still thought it was beautiful in here. They sat at a booth and a waitress came over. Rowan ordered the first round of drinks. When the waitress was there Isabella asked for a second drink and some shots. She wanted to get drunk and forget everything. She downed her drink. The waitress brought her second drink and the shots over. Isabella knew she had to take these shots before texting Davit to come meet her. She downed all the shots as she looked at Rowan. “Just keep any pictures from here out the news about me… Okay?” She said as she pulled her phone up and decided to text Davit. She just hoped she didn’t accidentally send it to both Gurgen and Davit again. She took a deep breath as she typed up what to say to Davit.

Hey Davit… Look I’m sorry for freaking out earlier. It just… Well after you kissed me, and that text came through from your neighbor making it seem like y’all were dating… Well… I got scared and hurt. I’m sorry for overreacting in the heat of the moment. I do hope you can forgive me. If you forgive me or think you can… Please come down to Club Ivy and meet me. I would love to see you and finish were we left off at on my couch. :kissing_heart:

She looked at the message one last time before hitting send. Then she turned her attention back to Rowan. “Well, that was a crazy day for sure.” She was still kind of in shock about how Isla’s “girlfriend” acted and the things she said. Isabella knew that Isla deserved better. However, at the same time she knew it wasn’t her place to butt in. Isabella thought that maybe she could talk to Isla’s uncle Blake and get him to talk to Isla. However, she didn’t think Blake liked her much… Especially since she broke Isla’s heart. While she was never in love with Isla… She would have never disrespected Isla the way Leah did. She sat there thinking about everything that happened and drinking her second drink. Before she realized it… It was empty too. She waved over the waitress to get a third.
