Let me explain … You mentioned spending time with Lysander, being in New York and trying to get away from the whole drama of Shaun and Josie’s pregnancy, so I was thining

The night in Brazil Lysander gets hired by Beck, the next day she spends in Cali and is still reeling from the drama so, having a new Bodyguard she tells him she wants to get away from Cali and go to New York so he goes with her.
I doubt he would say much to her so during the NY trip she would get to know him through his work and realize he is crazy about security and doing a good job and stuff, overworking, always very serious and stuff, and only ever laughs at himself. Then during the trip the rivalry and the arm breaking happens, and then it would be very plausible that all that happened within one week
