“I don’t… know. Look I didn’t… know Kai too well. I honestly just met him once or twice before but when I met him he seemed like a good guy. I guess I’ll tell Zach that his father was a good person who just had… bad luck?”

“I know… what it’s like to lose a sibling you care so much about… and… I get… that feeling. That feeling like your entire world is going to fall apart. It was… hard to see her like that and… all I can say is I’m sorry and I would never want to wish that feeling on anyone.”

• You may have hated Kai, but Kai was extremely important to both Jess and Val, was it harder to be supportive for them because of how you felt about Kai?

"Yes I hated Kai… and I wanted him out of my life but I never wished death on him. And I would never wish death on him… and part of that is this. He was important to Jess… Val… Akielah… So no it’s not harder to be supportive of them at all.

“I… well because of my skills I was the first one to hear about it so… I… told both Val and Jess together hoping that they could… help comfort each other and I could… be for them both…”
