He felt a little out of place her but was also sort of thrilled to be here. If it were freshman year Mikel this wouldn’t have happened in a million years. He probably would’ve been at some bar with someone who is signed to his dads label doing things that are not safe for a 15 year old. He was proud of himself for making such a change in himself and he was sure that maybe this would actually make his parents and therapists proud. His grandfather was always proud of him no matter what but when he told him he was going to the prom and with a date he cared about, it almost gave him a heart attack right on the phone. “Think its overrated, now that you’re here, with a date that really likes you?” He raised his eye brows and pretended to be surprised. “Wait, you like me!” He joked with Jezebel. “I thought we were just friends.” He said with a wink to her and wrapped an around around her waist to pulled her a little closer to him as he smiled to her. “I’m glad I’m here with you too.” He hadn’t like anyone the way he likes Jezebel and it freaked him out a lot that he let her in so easily. At this point he was surprised nothing bad had happened yet and he hadn’t scared her away with all his scars of his past. “I wouldn’t want to have it any other way.” He said to her and looked at people dancing. “Now, I can’t promise I’m the best dancer but should we give it a try?” He asked her. “I mean I’ve never actually been to a dance but I should experience it all tonight right?”
