Lyonrad Sei Fulcruth
“I knew it fit you,” Lyonrad scanned himself in front of the mirror, his aunt Lucy trying to leave no flaws on his suit; his mother wasn’t home to take care of him instead—she was, as always, busy and on-hand on her precious Glamor. He ran his hands through his hair, left and right and left and right until he was satisfied of whatever change it did to it. “You look handsome, my boy. I’m sure your date today will agree.”
Lyonrad chuckled at his aunt’s flattery, fixing his collar just as when she released her hands on him. “Of course, aunty,” he said, “Who can deny me?” Right, who can? Lyonrad was confident after all that no one can.
His aunt giggled, running her hand on his hair as if to fix it. “That’s my boy,” she said. “Have you gotten your tasks yet?” Lyonrad was immediately alerted, a frown meeting his features when he heard the word “task.” The tasks he had were… again, against his dignity; at least the first one was—if anything it was the worst.
“Yes, I have…”
“What’s with that frown? Aren’t you excited to conquer again?”
Conquer again. His aunt was talking as if he even won. Lyonrad had lied to her how he was close to the throne… well, at least it was true back then, but now it wasn’t and Lyonrad’s pride was too high up above for him to be able to say honestly. “No—yes, I am, of course. I got this.” He didn’t want to disappoint his aunt’s expectancies of him.
“Well, if that is the case, you have to go now… and oh—before you gooo,” Lyonrad’s brow rose as he watched the petite figure leave his room, quickly coming back with a transparent plastic box in her hands. It was a red corsage that reminded him—he was supposed to bring one. Thankfully, his aunt Lucy was there. “Here, red always pairs with everything. Now, go outshine people with your charm.”
Lyonrad nodded, letting Lucy tap his shoulders as he left. His look was grand tonight, so he decided that it was a good idea to bring the driver with him. He needed to look good not just to Kara but to all of the people as well. “Let’s go,” he muttered as he reached for the car door.
He opened his phone as the car started, going over to Kara’s number.
To: Kara
I’m coming, are you ready?
He didn’t wait for a reply and went to his phone’s camera, taking some selfies so as to not bore himself in the mean time. He took a lot, deleting some that didn’t fit his taste.
A few minutes later, he has arrived in front of Kara’s mansion. He stood in a reasonable distance from the front door, knocking three times in a calculated rhythm. He grabbed his phone again, running a hand on his hair and making sure he looked perfect.
@Kbail - Sorry this took so long!
