“Good,” she repeated after him as he took her hand and brought her to the dance floor. Who would’ve thought her first dance, first slow dance at prom would be with Malachi? Her ex that didn’t even go to the same school until now, someone she met on a vacation and it was just that… a sweet summer vacation romance. At first, she awkwardly placed her hands on his shoulders, thinking that everyone was looking at them and would be asking her a lot of questions after. But knowing she could trust him, knowing he would never tell a thing, she quickly relaxed, gently moving her hands behind his neck and intertwining her fingers.
“If I asked you the same thing now…” She quietly spoke up, looking up at his eyes. “Would you do it?” He knew exactly what she meant so there was no need to say anything else, especially now with so many people around them. It was the same thing she was worried about people finding out and because of that, she didn’t want to do it again. At least not in that way. “I don’t want to, I’m just curious…” She quickly added, putting on a sweet smile and for a second looked down at their floor. “It was fun, wasn’t it? You have to admit that.” With a short giggle, she looked back at him.
