As Jordan listened to the girl’s words while tracing the lines on her hands, a slight frown met his lips. Jordan knew he hadn’t talked to Lyonrad in years, but this didn’t sound like the same guy that used to be his best friend. That guy wouldn’t have done this. So what happened? Though Elodie said he didn’t do anything, Jordan had a feeling there was more to the story than just that. And it was slowly coming together when the girl revealed the rest of the story.
"We were talking almost every day and he was very sweet and… And he got me this really beautiful necklace,”
Now that sounded like the Lyonrad he knew. The part that sounded… off to Jordan was the next statement. The part where he asked Kara to prom in front of Elodie. And what really made Jordan doubt the story was the roses, confetti, and helicopter. That definitely was not Lyonrad material when he liked a girl. Jordan remembered how he was with Jessica when the two were dating - the most Lyonrad did was little personal things, something that didn’t catch attention but Jessica knew about. So, unless Lyonrad completely changed in two years, he would never go that extravagant for prom. Raising his eyebrow, Jordan looked back up at Elodie, meeting her eyes. He couldn’t ask if she was sure - after all this was Elodie and she had seen it with her own eyes. Though Jordan, despite the girl asking him not to talk to him, would definitely be having a discussion with the man about hurting Elodie.
With a sigh, Jordan kissed her shoulder, “If he did that, he doesn’t deserve you Elodie,”
Though he forced a slight smile as the conversation moved to Jezebel… though as she had just told him about herself, Jordan didn’t feel like he could hold the rest of it in. “I wasn’t completely honest earlier…” Jordan started, sighing as he scratched his head. “I… Jezebel found me outside an hour ago and… kissed me. And now I’m just… confused,” Jordan mumbled. Though shook his head out of thoughts of her when the girl laughed and said “Happy thoughts…”
“Yes… like me and you dancing all night right?”
“I’ll be fine don’t worry. I’ll wait for you here just don’t take too long,”
Jordan sent her a soft smile and nodded, “I’ll be right back, let me just make sure everyone’s okay and find a way to get more flashlights.”
