Elodie May DeLoughrey
“If he did that, he doesn’t deserve you Elodie,”
To those words, Elodie simply nodded and smiled to herself, whispering, “I know.” But she couldn’t quite believe in that, she didn’t want to be mad and with a simple “Sorry” she’d forget all about as if it didn’t happen. That was the bad side of always avoiding conflict and wanting everything to be ok - putting yourself down so you don’t upset anyone else.
While talking about Jezebel, she didn’t expect to hear what she did. The moment he said he wasn’t being completely honest, she looked at him with slightly furrowed brows, curious to hear what he meant by that. And as she heard what happened while he was gone from the stage, her expression remained emotionless, not knowing how to react. She wasn’t in shock, no. She wasn’t judging Jezebel for kissing Jordan while she was with Mikel she just didn’t know what to say. Staying silent, she kept her eyes on Jordan trying to put herself in Jez’s situation - having her ex back after a long time. “I bet she is confused too…” Elodie sweetly started, giving him a reassuring smile. “You just came back, without any warning. I can only guess how overwhelming that is.” With what the two of them had she wasn’t surprised that the kiss happened, she just didn’t expect it from Jez now, when she was with Mikel. That’s when Mikel crossed her mind, knowing it would be a very messy situation once he finds out. “Did you talk? What did she say? Did… did you kiss her back?” She whispered with a slight frown.
“I’ll be right back, let me just make sure everyone’s okay and find a way to get more flashlights.”
“What a hero,” she jokingly said through a chuckle, before nodding and adding “Ok, I’ll wait here.” With that, she kept her gaze on Jordan for as long as she was able to see him before walking towards the nearest wall and leaning against it.
