”Didn’t she wake up from the pain of the cramps or something?” she asked ”Never liked that version though, I’m more of a Disney kind of girl. Unrealistic optimism is fun to watch” she added and rested her back against the wall crossing her arms.
“I wonder why?”
”Not a fan of things that block the view” she added with a smirk ”Walls, buildings, shirts…”
“Although you may look drop-dead gorgeous in that dress, I can’t say I’m a fan of it anymore either.”
She slightly bit her lip at his comment ”Don’t make me blush Parker, the light is red enough” she replied
She nodded as he explained once again about the power and the security system of the Lucas household ”A mini generator” she said in response and watched him as he worked on the wires, and it was honestly lowkey attractive
“Alright… so either I’ll die or the elevator will open. It’s 50/50,”
”Is this your way of framing me for murder?” she raised her brow ”Just, try not to die” she said watching him somewhat worryingly, genuinely not wanting him to die or get hurt whatsoever.
Soon enough the door opened, revealing the outside world which she wasn’t really sure existed anymore.
“Gotta get a new phone in the morning… and Mikel needs to get a new elevator,”
She chuckled lightly.
Valerie looked outside the elevator running a hand through her hair with a subtle sigh, standing at the door right in front of him, looking up at him for a moment as she wandered partially lost in thought . she knew that from this moment on, everything would go back to what it was before, Daniel will go back to hating her like he always did, and who knows, maybe when she wakes up sober she will too. But she definitely hoped she wasn’t going to forget it all. People always wait for prom to be the best night of their year, but they were wrong, it’s not prom, it’s the after party.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. I always wondered what Vegas is like.
