“F^ck, F^ck, F^ck”
Daniel thought as he continued to hid his face behind his screen, putting his hoodie up in an attempt so she wouldn’t see him. His head in his hand, a sigh left his lips as he heard her voice - his eyes closing as a groan left his lips. “Not my go-to past time after being a d!ck at a funeral, but it is my past time after being a d!ck at dinner,” Daniel sighed, taking his hoodie off his head as he watched the walking ball of fur rubbing against Val’s foot in an attempt to get pet. “Furball, chill,” Daniel sighed, snapping his finger as he watched the pet. “Sit,” he stated clearly, watching as the puppy was debating what to do. “She’s being trained,” Dan mumbled as he looked at the dog making the sign to sit until the dog finally obeyed for about five seconds before trying to climb Valerie’s leg once again for affection to which Daniel just gave up.
“Do you even realize how much of a d!ck move that was? I mean go on, but at the funeral? Seriously?”
A sigh left his lips as he pointed at the seat across from him. “Well, you might as well sit down?” Daniel mumbled, leaning against the chair. “Tell me - do you really think that the whole funeral meant anything to Lily-Ann? Did you see the three cameras lining up in the back? Or the celebrities Lily-Ann paid to come to the event to look good?” Daniel questioned, closing his computer before the search results on Jessica came back. “Or did you notice that every time Lily-Ann lies, she blinks right after? So every single time she said ‘I’m so upset about Candice’ or anything along those lines, it was followed by her blinking” Daniel questioned. “Or how about the fact that she literally staged the whole funeral a day after her daughter died to get maximum publicity?” he finished, leaning his head in his hands as he asked the questions.
“Now I didn’t like Candice at all - but that woman was using even her bloody death as a publicity stunt. and no one deserved that. So the best thing I could do was to make sure she didn’t get a perfect funeral. Sure I added my own little flair to it, but that whole speech was mostly directed at Lily-Ann.” Daniel sighed, “And Dominic, but that’s my own personal vendetta,” Daniel stated - taking a drink of his coffee. “Do you really think Candice would have wanted her mom to use that bullsh!t perfectionist persona even on her death bed? After she quite literally died trying to get away from her? And yes I know you know that she wasn’t just driving that night for a late-night stroll. For f*cks sake she had money and clothes in the back of her car. We both know what she was doing. Hate me all you want Valerie, but I was doing that for Candice.”
