Dorian DeLoughrey
Ketziah and him were friends, good friends actually, for a long time now so he thought he knew pretty well how she would act in a certain situation or what she would say but this… It was one of the rare moments when he was left speechless. For a second he looked down at the ground, opening his mouth to say something, to joke at her comment but he just shook his head and chuckled, at first. “Yeah, yeah,” walking past her, he opened the door and held it for her, finally looking up to meet her eyes. “You should’ve said especially with not even with. Make it more flattering.” A joke he couldn’t miss as he leaned against the opened door, a goofy smile on his face. With his hand he suggested for her to leave but before she did, he gently grabbed her arm, stopping her with a sweet smile on his lips. “And wait for me outside? Won’t be long.”
“When do you think something like this will happen again?” Walking back to his locker, he heard one of the guys asking, only making him laugh. Well, at this point they were all laughing. “I’ll give it a few days,” Dorian mumbled, looking in the direction of the voice for a brief second before taking his clothes to change.
“Hello, again,” adjusting the bag over his shoulder, he chuckled the moment he saw Ketziah again, letting the door close behind him. Usually he would leave with his teammates, he would wait for them to get ready so they could all walk down the hallway together. A cliche, yes, but it brings all the attention to them. Just think of those scenes from every high school movie there is. But he didn’t want to make Ketziah wait so he tried not to take as much time - he was still fixing both his t-shirt and bag when he left that room. “You know, if you wanted something like that to happen you should’ve just told me. I’d organize something,” With a slight smirk, he joked, gently nudging her with his arm.
