Elodie May DeLoughrey
”It was… okay I guess. You know other than me finding out that Giovanni went to prom with another guy. That was the best part.”
Elodie looked over at Kara with a frown on her face, she did know how it must’ve felt, in a way, but she couldn’t only imagine how Kara felt in that situation. “I saw,” she whispered, her gaze still on Kara with the same sad expression. “Hey, we don’t need boys. Look at us,” taking a step closer to Kara, she added and looked at her reflection in the mirror, gently moving Kara’s hair over he shoulder. “They need us,” Elodie smirked slightly, before stepping away from Kara and chuckling, shaking her head at what she just said. But it was true. Maybe.
“Oh, Lyonrad, yeah. I actually saw that! It was really cute,” Elodie acted like it wasn’t bothering her, like it was just something sweet someone did for her friend. A way it should be. “At least he was a good date, huh?” Smiling, she tried to bring Kara’s mood up. Well, before she mentioned something. A kiss between… Lyonrad and Daniel? She only looked at her, confused with what she was saying, with what happened. Yes, it was an accident as she said but the rest of the story was what she cared about more.
“Arguing about what?” She quietly asked, staring at Kara for a few seconds before straightening up and putting the bag over her shoulder again. “I mean,” mumbling, she forced a chuckle, pushing a strand of her hair behind her ear. “Fighting over something so silly… boys,” rolling her eyes, she tried to keep that cool act, act like she wasn’t so interested in it but she wasn’t so successful as she quietly added, “Did Daniel say something?” She was interested. Very interested, especially after hearing the two of them fought, which wasn’t strange for Daniel but… Didn’t he “help” Lyonard with the whole promposal thing? Still, it could be just Daniel being Daniel so she shook those thoughts away, not wanting to think about that embarrassing day again.
“I had fun. I was… I let someone else pick my date, because why not? Make it more exciting,” she chuckled, making sure she sounded genuine because she didn’t want Kara to know how desperate she actually was. “Crazy, I know! But it ended up being Jordan which instantly meant it would be one of the best nights.” Now, that was the only part that actually mattered, the only part that brought a sweet smile as she started walking towards the door. “Let’s go?”
