Did he hate her though? No… maybe he never could truly… fully hate her. But he didn’t appreciate this discussion… or the confrontation that went along with it. Daniel had never been good at that. Confrontation on the basis that he may not necessarily be right in this case - though he’d never admit that. This was Daniel Parker after all. So - out of instict - dan rolled his eyes.
”But please, can you try and listen to me without shutting me out before I even start?”
“When I know that the conversation will be a waste of my time, I usually don’t stick around and listen, Yara. You should at least know that much about me… I mean, you dated me for two years.” Daniel muttered under his breath. Though, as they were near the end of the game anyway - before she got to say anything else - he found the round had been over. With that, he sent her a smile and pointed at the ground. “Damn - guess we won’t be talking after all,” Dan muttered.
Though this round, Dan was one of the first people with a dare - his being to tell everyone how he felt about Valerie. Though his eyes lingered on Yara for a second, he soon turned towards Valerie. “Valerie Wood is…” he started, trying to figure out how to put it into words without revealing too much about how he felt… though, in retrospect, Dan didn’t know exactly how he felt. “Valerie Wood is one of the most badass women in this circle. Actually, probably more badass than most of you combined. Not to mention, she’s drop-dead gorgeous, and she knows it which is sexy, and she won’t take sh!t from anyone - including me, and I guess… I guess you could say I respect that more than you can imagine.” he finished looking at her for another second before pulling his eyes away and turning towards Andy. “McAllister, buddy,” Dan started - spite dripping from his voice, “I dare you… to tell everyone what really happened to Yara’s brother,”
He had seen the question on the list and couldn’t help but be curious. Hell - who knew. Maybe it was even interesting.
