Amelia, Phoebe, and Xavier’s Future dad
Riker smiled as she told him about her close relationship with her family. He loved that - even though he wasn’t as close to his parents as his siblings. His whole family was, generally, closer than others. “Really? What type of questions would she have asked?” Riker teased as she talked about her mother. “And what would you have said if she asked who you’re going out to see so early?” he asked with a wicked grin on his lips. Though his smile didn’t falter as the topic moved to Dylan. “Well, don’t tell Dylan - but I’m rooting for you,” he added - taking out fresh strawberries from below the table alongside chocolate to dip it into. “Dessert?” Riker asked - as he cleared the finished food and placed a few more pastries options on the table. Look - he really didn’t know what he was going for here so he planned for every contingency and everything and anything Elodie may even partially like to eat.
As they moved towards the edge - his hand on her body as a protective mechanism to make sure she felt okay; he listened to her quip back about Sebastian and Ariel. “Ahh, Ariel and I aren’t on the best of terms. I accidentally took her thingy ma bob one time,” he joked, “Sebastion thinks I’m a little too crazy like Ariel,” he continued. “And Melody - can’t say I’ve met her but if she’s half as amazing as you are, I would probably love her.” he smiled. Though his smile turned into what felt like the hundredth laugh of the day - which… just felt easy with Elodie as she asked if he knew what she was talking about, “I do - my little sister says I basically look and act like Prince Eric which I take as an insult because how the hell did he not recognize the love of his life just because she lost her voice. So no - I do not agree. I rather be Flynn Rider - at least he gets hit in the face with a frying pan. Sounds… unique,” he joked, “Plus I like the idea of the girl being the princess for once - changes the power dynamic a little.” he added. “Is the Little Mermaid your favorite?”
