Jordan Willams
As the conversation moved from the light-hearted conversation about Riker and Daniel to… perhaps the heavier hearted one about Jezebel - Jordan could only manage a nod. He honestly had no idea what to think about it… but the one thing Jordan knew was Jezebel Sloane wasn’t the same person he had left. Maybe… he wasn’t the same person either. They both had changed… but how come all the feelings he had felt for her, then, had not ceased to disappear along with that. Who knew - maybe Jordan would always be the lovesick guy he was when he was young, eating the coconut dessert she made despite being allergic just because he was too shy to say anything about it. Part of him would always be… at the very least.
“You need to move on. It’s a bit ironic coming from me, but we both do. This whole mess isn’t good for anyone, especially not for you”
“You…” Jordan started, taking a deep breath with a grateful smile towards his cousin. “Maybe right.” he finished with a soft smile. “Here tell me,” Jordan started, “what type of person do you imagine me ending up with then?” he questioned - a soft joking smile almost imagining she’d make a joke out of it and say something like Princess Fiona from Shrek.
Though, soon enough the two of them were in the presence of the Jonas Brothers - who were a bit too obvious with their crush. Whoever said these men were smooth - well… were thoroughly mistaken. Both Kevin and Jordan kept passing looks to one another once one of them said something - rolling their eyes and holding in their laughter. This laughter only grew when she explained that the asking out wouldn’t happen. “Really now?” Jordan asked with a smile. And as if on cue - the youngest brother, Frankie who had been sitting on the side walked over to Yara and straight-up asked her if she would go to his prom with her. Which immediatly caused both Joe and Nick to push him aside before Yara or Jordan could say anything else.
“I’m sorry you were saying?” Jordan smiled - before pointing to the booth. “I’ll let you all talk while I set up,” he smiled - walking away though mouthing “Just watch” to Yara as he walked inside and fixed the mic. He couldn’t hear what was going on from inside the booth - but it was clear from their body language that something was. Though it wasn’t Jordan’s place to butt in - well that, and Yara would kill him if he did.
“Can we warm up?” Jordan asked in the mic to the audio woman on the other side who nodded. “Ordinary People?” Jordan offered the cover and smiled as heard the familiar music playing as he warmed up his voice to the cover.
As he finished, he asked Lina to turn up the amp a bit on his mic before heading back out really quickly where Yara was sitting with the brothers. “You didn’t think I just brought you out here to watch Yara? Come on - I need female vocals on this song,” he smiled - pulling her away from the brothers. “So, tell me. Which one asked you out?”
