Water and tears mix together quite perfectly, so as Valerie left the venue and went to her car, who could tell she was even crying?
So soaked and hurting, Valerie walked and went into her parked car, turning the engine on and the heating and music loud with it. Leaning her head back, Valerie looked up, trying to stop the tears from coming out again, as she noticed tapping on the window. She turned to see Sadie, and unlocked the car for her to open it. She hated the idea of people seeing her like that, all weak and gross, but she didn’t care, and honestly, she needed a friend.
“Valerie, what happened? No, you don’t have to tell me, but if you want to talk about it… I’m here.”
Valerie took a deep breath and after lowering the speakers, she glanced at her friend before looking away, ”I just…” she mumbled and then sighed ’I hate how nobody could ever love me, and all I am is a bloody toy, just… one person, one person who would actually want to be with me without leaving and playing with my feelings, is that too much to ask? I just… I just want to be happy, for once…’ is what she really wanted to say, but she couldn’t… so instead, all that came out was ”It’s all just too much, I can’t” she said, in a half whisper. Which was true, it was too much, this, and so many other things that just piled up all on one girl, who simply did not feel like she could take it anymore…
