Jordan sighed, nodding his head. His heart hurt as he stayed in her presence. Part of him just wanted to pull her in and hug her and honestly never let go. God for so long he never wanted to let go… but this moment right here. Her telling her this information was the first time in a long time that he felt like he needed to back away. That he needed to let Jezebel room to grow. “You’re not going to mess your baby up Jezebel. Look at yourself. You are strong, courageous, and you’re going to make sure that you are always there for your kid,” he whispered. He couldn’t lie and say his heart didn’t drop hearing it was Mikel’s child. Despite everything; he still wasn’t a fan of Mikel. After seeing the drugs that still present in the man’s house it only showed him how untrustworthy he was. But if he dare hurt Jezebel after this… Jordan may not stop with a punch.
“I don’t know what kind of father Mikel will be but Jezebel, if you ever need me to talk to him… do anything… if you need anything from me I want you to know that I’m here. I… had my reasons for taking that money and I know you don’t trust me… you probably won’t ever fully trust me but if you need anything I will drop anything to be there for you.” A soft sigh left his lips for the second time as he placed a chaste kiss on her forehead. “I don’t want to lose you either…” he mumbled; though spoiling the moment was a text he heard both of them get at the same time. Indicative of either blue royalty or… well… Daniel Parker. Taking a deep breath… Jordan took the device out to see it was his latter guess, frowning deeply when he saw what Daniel had sent. “Oh my… Daniel” he started, disappointment seething from his lips. “I don’t know… what’s up with him but I feel like this text means he may need to talk to you Jez… to calm him down,” he whispered and personally… he wanted to talk to Sadie and make sure she was okay too.
