Elodie May DeLoughrey
Climbing a tree. Yeah, there was no way she would ever let him do that, as cute as it sounds… and as much as she would actually want to see that. Just, no, he had no right to die. “Come in,” of course, it didn’t take long for the smile she had on to be replaced with a very confused expression, stepping to the side to let him in and watch him as he moved through the hallway. But what else was she supposed to expect? By now she learned what he was like so she wasn’t surprised… no, she was entertained. So as soon as she closed the door and locked it, she followed him with crossed arms and a curious look, before leaning against the closest wall, letting him do his own thing. “Shh, now you have to be very quiet,” but it didn’t take long for Elodie to “join him”. She quickly ran to where he was, gently pushing him against the wall before whispering, “And once we go up you have to watch out for lasers, they are everywhere. But I’ll go first because I’ve been dealing with that my whole life.” There was just something about him that really made her feel comfortable and she loved it. That’s not how she felt around many people. “You know you’re an idiot, right?” Elodie finally laughed, ready to take his hand and lead him upstairs… until she heard his question. A grin she had on faltered for a second, stopping to think what he meant by that. “My idiot, of course,” putting back on a sweet smile, she simply answered, shaking all the thoughts she had at that moment.
“Now that you’re here I have to show you my room, don’t I?” She replied with a shyer smile. “It’s not exactly like heaven but it’s close,” jokingly and quietly adding, she hesitantly turned around before starting to walk towards the stairs. Of course she was shy… she never had a boy over, besides Jordan, so she didn’t quite know how to act at that moment, when the realization set in - Riker was in her house, late at night. What was she doing? “My parents are probably sleeping, but be quiet… and watch out for lasers,” trying to act like she wasn’t nervous, she brought up a joke from earlier, chuckling quietly as she led him up the stairs. “Well… this is my room… and that’s the window you’ve been throwing rocks at,” quietly speaking, she opened the door to her room, letting him go in first. So there she was… awkwardly standing in her own room, waiting for him to say something.
