When Kai told Jess he loved her, he never wanted that moment to end. He could be right there with her in his arms forever. Kai wasn’t one to open up to people. As she pulled away, Kai shook his head at her comment before drinking. “Jess…” he began with a sigh. “You know I’d do anything to protect my family. That’s why I’m here Jess, because I had to be…” he paused. He knew she would think he didn’t care about her, that it was all a lie. At the beginning it was, but since the fashion show he had been completely genuine. “I knew who you were before I met you. My sister knows yours, and told her everything about me and my family.
