“I didn’t want you to worry about me, and then I didn’t know how to tell you without hurting you by not telling you sooner like I should have. I’m fine, given everything, but I still feel terrible about waiting so long to tell you.”

“I understand Z… I get it,” Jordan sighed. “I can’t blame you for that. You’re medical problems never technically involved me so that was always your choice who to tell and I respect that. I will always respect that. But now that I know… don’t blame me for doing my best to make the rest of your life as amazing as it can be.” Jordan smiled slightly. That was the difference between Ziah and Jezebel. Ziah’s secret wasn’t something that thoroughly involved him. Jezebel’s completely involved him… it was something he had the right to at least know about and that’s why it hurt so much. Maybe Ziah was right… maybe he needed to talk to Jezebel the problem was that every single time he looked at her; he was in pain. He couldn’t be in a room without seeing her differently and he hated that. Jordan Williams could never look at Jezebel the same way. The way of someone who had only love in his eyes. That was now clouded by so many other things. So as Ziah talked; he listed though made no indication that told her what he was thinking. In all honestly, he barely understood it. “We should go back into the party, Z,” Jordan smiled after a few seconds with her notion of nothing ever stays the same forever. It was true… .however much it hurt - she was right. Nothing did. Sometimes that could bring good things… like Sadie Monroe. And other times; it only brought hurt like Jezebel… or even what was happening to Ziah. Though soon he was distracted by a notification on his phone. “Guess the final tallies are out?” Jordan asked; opening the list up to find Sadie on it. There was a soft smile on his lips because he was happy for her. He knew it was something she wanted and even though he didn’t like the game; he respected that much. He also saw Elodie’s name that had been on there for the last few times, though Dorian was another surprise alongside Theodore and Elias. “Another year, another list,” Jordan said. “Do you ever think that one day your baby could be playing this game?” Jordan asked, motioning to her stomach that wasn’t very much protruded yet.
