Daniel has always been one to just talk on and throw shade regardless of his words actually being true or not, and usually Andy couldn’t care less, but this time, he struck a nerve. Andy didn’t mind what Daniel had to say about him, he had already gotten used to it with all these years of hateful relationship between the two, but when the man talked about being sad for Kaya for being stuck with Andy as a father, Andy was actually hurt because that was one of his biggest worries, not just as a father but as a person. Kaya was the love of his life, and if there was one thing he didn’t want was to disappoint her, or be a terrible father to her. He just wanted her to be happy and at times like this he wondered if she would have been happier if she was born into another family, life with a better father than what he could ever be.
