It took Daniel a second to realize what he had done. Within the confines of school, nonetheless; Daniel Parker had shown momentary weakness. Emotion. Though he was only human - err to the ways of lapses in judgement - the man had perfected an image that portrayed he couldn’t be brought down. Not to mention the fact that his lively hood depended on it. After all, Daniel Parker had more than one enemy in close confines and any weakness could portray an invitation to those individuals to pull him down. Of course - his “perfection” was easily pulled away when he was with his friends. Jezebel, for example, had without a doubt seen Daniel in his weakest moments. Though - he trusted her. And trust from Daniel didn’t come easily.
“It doesn’t mean anything… Blue Royalty probably did it because I’m clearly the only girl in school who’s not a virgin…”
Clearing his throat, Daniel understood he had to approach this differently - especially as she went on to convince him that there was no use to use it as she was sure it wouldn’t reveal anything. “Though that may be the case, Delilah, why don’t you humor me. And if you are right - no harm no foul. Maybe I’ll even be convinced to give you your actual christmas present early - and trust me, it’s a good one. Something you’ve been working towards for a long time,” he stated - leaning against the lockers to display a level of nonchalance to any student looking toward their direction.
