As Daniel sat in the helicopter patiently waiting for his friends painfully slow arrival after hacking the intercom and calling them, he went onto his computer and hacked into the school network to make sure that anyone who had taken a video of the earlier incident with himself and Jez would have that video be corrupted. Although he knew word of mouth would do more than enough to spread the news, Daniel wanted to feel as if he had some sort of control over the situation… even if he didn’t.
He was lost in his work that he didn’t even notice that his friends had begun exiting the building, that was until he heard Elodie scream “Are you insane?” Clicking the last few buttons on his laptop, Daniel grabbed the megaphone connected to the helicopter - the ones usually used in car chases when the helicopters say “surrender” for the whole world to hear. Clicking the intercom button Daniel waved at Elodie as he spoke into the speaker, “Quite possibly yes - now please get your ass to the helicopter so we can go to Aspen,”
“WHAT THE HECK” was the next words he heard once Mam burst out of the building and Daniel sighed - having to explain for the second time. Clicking the button once again, he spoke through the megaphone “Mam, Elodie. You have 5 minutes to decide if you are getting on this helicopter or not. If you do - we’re going on vacation this instant. If you don’t, I’m leaving. Choices.” he stated - turning the speaker off before clicking a button on his laptop to hack into the school intercom once again. “Again, Mikel Lucas - Please report to the football field immediately. You have five minutes or you will face the consequences.”
