As she finished applying the lipgloss, Candice removed her mascara and begin applying that on her eyelashes - not necessarily because she needed it, but rather, to further prove that Candice didn’t ‘need’ to move just because Delilah had said so. So if that meant Candice would redo her whole make-up routine to stand her ground, well then, so be it.
“Oh… Well, who finally gave Candice a pair of balls? It couldn’t have been Domonic, we all know he certainly doesn’t have any,”
CC could feel a flash of anger rising up within her as Delilah stood there smugly. Whatever happened to the sweet girl Candice knew years ago, she’d never know. Biting her tongue, Candice stopped herself from reacting out of emotion - it was what Delilah wanted and Candice Clarke would not give her the d!mn satisfaction. Taking a deep breath, Candice put the mascara away before turning towards the girl with an emotionless smile - one that was practiced over years of modeling that Candice never wanted to do… though apparently it had a use in this situation.
“I’m sorry, Delilah, are we talking about who has balls in this room? From what I remember you’ve created a reputation by going behind people’s backs and being a two-faced b*tch to everyone you meet. So if we’re really talking about who has balls, well, at least Dom’s are bigger than yours because he’s willing to tell you something straight to your face.” with that, Candice looked at the girl up and down - newfound confidence she truly didn’t know she had within her. “…but I guess that can’t be said about everyone though… namely you,”
Running her hands through her hair as she turned back towards the mirror, a slight scoff escaped Candice’s lips. “You know - I can’t believe I ever actually thought we were friends. Man, was I wrong? You know, that first day I brought you home when we were 6 - I remember my mom telling me to stay away from you the moment you left my house… that my time wasn’t worth being spent with you. I never thought I’d agree with my mother… but I think that in case, she was right. I should have listened,” Candice uttered with a shrug. With that, Candice took her phone out nonchalantly - scrolling through social media as if nothing had happened as she leaned against the sink - discreetly placing her phone on record in case something went awry. Though Candice didn’t know what was causing her to do this… she knew she may regret it soon.
