Lyonrad let out a chuckle, his ear perking up at the mention of “prom.” Speaking of prom, he could just straight-up asked this girl in front of him as her partner, but it was yet too early for him. Plus, there are a lot of other girls he can ask out, anyway, so there was no rush. But, being able to be with Elodie… was interesting to him. “Good luck with yours too,” he chortled, “Hopefully, we’ll get an instant date with this Dollar Valentine.” It wasn’t a blurry chance that it was going to happen, since this activity was actually probably designed to help them with their dates. And Lyonrad was also confident he’s get one—no one says no to him… at least someone new.
“It’s really fine,” he said when Elodie apologized again. It wasn’t really a big deal to him, he was just surprised. In fact, he was amused by how the girl didn’t really hide her thoughts from him just like other people who talked to him. He nodded, “Yup, you’re definitely right. I’m really looking forward to experiencing them.”
Lyonrad’s eyes diverted for a second to where Elodie’s eyes did, a flash of wonder piqued in him. He looked back at Elodie again with a “Hmm,” as if he was actually thinking what to answer to her question, even though he already knew what is was. There are a couple of classmates that came to his head when she asked that, but neither of them was what he was actually hoping to get. He shrugged in indecision, “Not really, I don’t know. I don’t want to, at least. It’s frustrating being disappointed.” he said and laughed. He was being true about it—he didn’t really want to expect someone to be in his list, but it wasn’t because he didn’t want to be disappointed like he said, but because he had too much pride to. In fact, what he is expect is for people to expect him. “You; are you expecting someone? How many did you buy?”
