Lyonrad Sei Fulcruth
with Elodie DeLoughrey
Lyonrad’s brow rose at Elodie’s answers, noticing a flash of low spirit from her. He wasn’t sure what it was about, but he was reminded of the blog released earlier about the Blue Bloods. He made sure he didn’t miss one word from the latter when he read it, so he knew that—if ever it was the blog’s exposure of what she did that made her upset—it was wrecking for the Blue Bloods’ parts. If I were on that list, I wouldn’t even give a
fck
,* he vainly thought, though it wasn’t really that accurate for him. Sure; he can care about it less, but can he endure what goes with it?
He opened his mouth, but hesitated upon doing it. He figured he didn’t want to bring it up—it was a topic he can’t relate to, so talking about it might just not give him something good in return at all. So, he ignored it, and resolved it with “forgetting” it.
“I am too,” Lyonrad confirmed with a nod, “Being paired with people you don’t know really excites me for some reason.” He let out a light laugh, hoping to improve the atmosphere between him and Elodie. What he said was actually only half true—he’s only in it for potential peers to do his stuff with.
“Oh,” he chortled, taken aback by Elodie’s straightforwardness. He waved in dismissal to her apology and shook his head, amused of the fact that the girl didn’t really even bother to hide her thoughts. “No, no, of course not. It’s not; I get it.” he said, laughyer in between his words. His eyes glanced to her hand when it reached his arm, quickly turning his gaze to her with a nod. “We gotta do all things we can before this year finishes. I hear college is not gonna be considerate like high school.” he said with a shrug.

It was a roller coaster—Tala’s feelings was played on a one-arched roller coaster.
When one day she was happy because she managed to be on the list, she isn’t as happy right now. She didn’t really know what she should feel today, even. Should she be angry? Sad? Worried? Or should she keep on justifying herself in her own mind? Well, whatever it should be is the same—the feeling’s negative.
Tala saw it coming—the fact that her secret will be revealed in any time; what she did not see coming was the secret to be revealed among people with the majority of them not really knowing her well. She’s supposed to be free of worry being judged, but a secret revealed in a way that can cause some people to negatively view it did make her anxious about it. What’s more that made it heavier was the fact that the secret involved a good friend of hers.
Thanks to the childhood lessons she had, she was able to keep her head straight—she’s always been told not to ever let anything affect her for it kept her from getting her goals; however, she couldn’t help but get conscious as the distance between her and Cerulean High’s entrance got narrower. What if they look at her with the wrong eyes? Thinking about that, Tala wanted to justify herself more than anything now. There was something more to what was revealed, and she just wants to prove to the people that what they are possibly thinking right now are wrong.
Patterns of pink and red welcomed her day at the school. It was supposed to make her feel the thrill of the upcoming Valentine’s Day, but—needless to say—it didn’t. When she reached the inside, an enthusiastic smile greeted her along with a piece of paper. “Good morning! Find who you are most compatible with for a dollar or five here!” She replied with a smile and accepted the offer. Tala isn’t actually one to be engaged in things like this, but it didn’t hurt if she tried. She quickly filled in the survey, returning it with a smile so as to not give off a gloomy vibe.
Just as she finished, her eyes set sight on an easily recognizable figure approaching her. Luciano greeted her with a hug, to which he followed by bringing up the predictable topic of the blog post. Tala let out a sigh. “Yeah, I did.” she said, “It’s a long story… I’m not… I don’t… God, this is a mess. .” She sighed again, looking at Luciano with her head slightly down low. She didn’t know exactly how to answer his question, and she was at loss at words for it. “I just… I thought we were in danger… no, actually, we were in danger.”
