As much as Delilah wasn’t bothered about Oh My Dollar Valentine, she knew that it would be useful for one thing: Prom Queen. The most important thing for her, as it is something in the back of her mind every second of every day. Therefore, much to Delilah’s dismay, she may actually have to accept one of the many annual invites to be someone’s prom date. But, who the lucky person would be, she didn’t know. So, this year Delilah had to actually look at the names on her list and make use of them.

Her eyes scanned the five names on the list, her eyebrows raising at a few. Though some, if not most were expected, there were names that she hadn’t expected to see. After catching herself looking at it a little too long, Delilah rolled her eyes and put her phone away. At least she knew the names of the people she… probably wouldn’t reject straight away if they were to ask.
As she always tried to, Delilah dressed for the ongoing occasion that had completely taken over social media (Delilah also adding to the masses by posting too) and arrived at school, making yet another grand entrance with her Rolls Royce, successfully catching the eye of practically everyone, and she walked straight past the many sophomores trying to find the courage to approach her. Or even ask her to prom. She saved them the trouble of being rejected by completely ignoring them.
What caught her attention was someone who stood out, for all the wrong reasons, stepping out of a below-average looking car. “Sorry, skank, it seems like you’ve made a wrong turn,” Delilah stated through a laugh. “The public schools for the deadbeats are on the pathetic other side Beryl Heights.”
