“See you,” he whispered, placing his hands back in his pockets as he watched Aline walk away. He kept his gaze on her the whole time, smiling back as she turned to look at him but as soon as he couldn’t see her anymore he reached for his phone to check his messages. Great, mumbling to himself, he rolled his eyes, slightly annoyed that the girl he wanted to look for next left him on read. He didn’t care if it was too weird to just ask where she was, he didn’t want to waste his time going around the school, searching for Sadie… But thinking about it, maybe that wasn’t such a bad idea. People would notice him and hopefully think he was being a sweet guy. That’s what he needed people to think of him now.
Taking one of the remaining bouquets from his lockers, he quickly fixed his hair and shirt, ready to go on his next mission of the day. Sadie seemed like a girl that would appreciate what he was about to do, especially when she was new and it was her first time participating in what their school had to offer for Valentine’s day. If he made it more special she would remember him and hopefully have a better opinion, now when things weren’t looking that great for him.
Luckily, it didn’t take him long to find her but when he did his smile immediately fell away, seeing who she was with. From everyone, it had to be Lyonrad. What made him more upset was the comment he found on one of his photos because one thing he really didn’t want to happen was Elodie getting closer to him. But that was a problem for another time, right now he couldn’t let him get in the way of his plans. Putting his smile back on, he confidently started walking towards them, trying to ignore Lyonrad and not look his way.
“Sorry to interrupt,” saying it in a sweet way and trying to sound sincere, he kept his gaze on her as he got closer to them. “I was just looking for you because I wanted to wish you a happy Valentine’s day in person and give you this.” Looking down at the flowers he was holding rather proudly, he lifted them up, suggesting for her to take them as he looked back at her with a slight smirk on his face.
