Tala Garzon
with Kara Melbourne
Tala chuckled as Kara patted her own shoulder, “I try, I try.” she said. Tala stood up straight again, grabbing her leather jacket with her other hand as she let the other hang and relax. She looked at the bag. Though Kara already told her what it was that’s inside it, she was still eager to see it for herself. “Can I put my jacket on your bag? My arm’s getting sore; this jacket’s been with me ever since I came in. Oh, and do you want to grab something we can eat?”
“Interesting. Do you have any hobbies that you do around the school? Any friend groups?” Kara asked. Finally, they were starting to know each other. That’s what Tala wants—to get to know each person in Cerulean High as much as she can. From what she noticed of Kara’s personality, of the “her” she warned her about, to the liberated people around her, her interest was so piqued that she wants to know what more was there.
“I don’t have any hobbies to do in school, but if there are some kind of clubs, I’ll definitely join one.” Tala answered, excitement filling her voice as they tackled hobbies. “As for friend groups… I’m not really fond of them. I prefer a small number.”
