“Fine - it’s just chicken salad, eat your sandwich,”
Yara laughed ”Will do” she said, and picked up the sandwich, taking a bite of it. It was indeed chicken salad don’t let the kiwiness fool you.
”Would definitely consider” she agreed with Jordan’s statement about letting her in a music video. She did love working on things like music videos, and the one she already did with Nick was remembered in her mind as something that was a good experience for sure.
“done…” Joe said, and Jordan raised his brow at her “Well damn,” Jordan stated, ”Well damn indeed” she agreed with him
He then said he guesses they have to go now, and that he’d kidnap yara and bring her over, which made her chuckle as he hung up the call. **
”Alright up - go get ready before the jonas brother’s start tweeting sh!t about me because I didn’t bring you,"
”Can’t ruin that rep can I” she said and got up, ”Now shoo I need to shower” she added, I’ll be ready in a bit, she said , shooing him out of the room.
As he left the room, Yara popped in the shower for a brief wash, and got dressed fixing her hair, and putting on very light basic makeup, she was never a fan of anything too extreme. As she was done she came out of the room and into the living room to see if Jordan was ready

Riker surely had a way of making every story sound interesting. Resting her chin in the palm of her hand, Elodie carefully listened to him, a smile not leaving her face. It was something she found herself enjoying - she could listen to him all day. Especially when he was talking about his hero moments. “Of course you’d do that,” she quietly commented the moment he mentioned a little girl. And then nodded at everything else he said. “I forgot I’m basically talking to a celebrity,” jokingly saying it after he mentioned his sister and grandmother, she chuckled, now crossing her arms over the table. “But it does sound like you ended up with the best life, out of the three of you. And I… I haven’t been to many places. Just around America and Paris a couple of times. But I would like to see the world. South Africa sounds interesting…” With a cheeky grin, she looked down at the food in front of her, before taking another bite of the sandwich.
A frown immediately met her lips the moment he asked to bring down the balloon. The last thing she wanted to do was to make him feel like this wasn’t what she wanted, wasn’t a good idea. “No!” She quickly replied, shaking her head as she placed her other hand on top of his, gently squeezing it. “You’re stuck here with me, no going back,” with a soft smile, she added. “I would’ve said yes, no matter what. This is the best thing ever, Riker. I do mean it when I say I love this, okay? So don’t beat yourself up,” continuing, her gaze lowered to their hands as she slowly interlocked their fingers for a moment, before pulling away and leaning back, now crossing her arms. “I’ll have trouble trying to top this next time,” after a second of silence, she quietly added looking up at him with a sweet smile, hinting at a possible next date. One that she would prepare. “Or any other time.”

Dominic woke up and got in the shower, making sure to wash the remnants of the previous day’s gel out of his hair. He got out of the shower and got dressed, styling his hair once he’d finished. He went downstairs to find his dad making breakfast, a rare occasion in his house. “Est-ce qu’il y a une occasion spéciale?” He asked, sitting down.
“Non.” His dad responded, facing him and shrugging before turning back towards the stove. “Ta mère est partie pour un voyage d’affaires. Je juste pensais que nous puissions manger ensemble.” He explained, finishing what he was cooking and plating the meal.
“Ok, cool. Merci!” Dom said as his father sat down. They ate their breakfast together, occasionally speaking to each other to catch up. After breakfast was finished, he helped his dad clean up, then grabbed his keys and got in his car. He drove to the school to help set up for the lock in later. He parked his car and walked into the school, the first person he saw being Reina. He walked over to her and waved, smiling. “Hey.” He greeted her, hoping he got attention.

Jezebel didn’t really say anything else as they drove to a cafe. Even if she didn’t have so much going through her head at that moment, she wasn’t exactly sure what to say. When Mikel got out and opened the car door for her, Jezebel looked up at him and gave another small smile, this time with less hesitation than the previous smile. She got out of the car and grabbed his hand for a moment as she said, “Thank you.” The thank you was for a mixture of everything, including picking her up and not having questioned about what was going on right away.

Ketziah nodded slightly as she listen to Sadie say how she had just moved there at the beginning of senior year, which it made sense why Ketziah was certain that she hadn’t seen the girl before the camping trip. “Yeah, I was planning to head there for the lock in before long myself. Just had to make a stop first.” Ketziah said in reference to the bag from the shoe store in her hand. “If you want I can give you a ride?” Ketziah had her car parked pretty close, and she didn’t have any issue with letting Sadie ride with her instead of walking. Ketziah chuckled slightly at Sadie’s mention of her and Jordan dating. “Dated. Things were kinda on and off, but we’re not together anymore. Jordan’s just one of my closest friends.”

“Exactly. At least the education my parents are buying for me will be put to good use.” Akielah nodded slightly as Valerie said she’d give Raphael advice if she knew what to do in the situation. “Yeah… Kai’s probably the only person that actually could tell him anything useful.” Akielah knew her brothers enough to know their parents wouldn’t pay close enough attention to be of any help, and Kai would be the only one that could give him advice that could be of help, assuming that his advice would be better than something along the lines of finding a rebound. At her cousin’s question of if she had found anything interesting yet. She abused for just a second to glance around, and made sure to speak in a somewhat hushed tone. “Trust me, you’d be surprised by the things people will look up on cafe WiFi. It’s hilarious. For example, there was a girl looking up the chances of a false positive pregnancy test, and then she was with someone that I’m guessing was her boyfriend. Though, he was looking up hot shirtless guys. That’s not even the half of it.” Akielah shook her head slightly. “The only other thing interesting that I have in mind specifically, is planning a prank on Kai’s neighbor. Can’t complain about getting to hang with my favorite cousin though.”

“Yeah… it’s - he’s mine”
Daniel’s eyes widened ever-so-slightly at the reveal as he looked back over at the now sleeping child. How… when? That was the question on his mind. Delilah would have had to get pregnant during their Sophomore year of high school which… ironically was possible since there were those few months where she was doing and exchange trip in France - boasting about the French boys she was with. Though was that a ruse? Daniel had a policy of not looking into his friends and their secrets so that statement… very much could be true. “I-” he didn’t know what to say. No underhanded joke or comment made it’s way to Daniel’s mind. he was simply… speechless. For the first time in his life.
“Congratulations?.. I’m sorry?..” Daniel mumbled - unsure of how to go about talking about the child in her presence. “Delilah if you need anything… I… I’m here,” Dan continued - despite the long break in between his words. “Your secret is safe with me,” he continued - though as she moved the topic back to why he initially came there. But for some reason - the fact of his appearance felt… less important at the moment. Not with the child… right there.
“Why did you come here, Daniel?”
He met her eyes and a part of him wanted to tell her - he had come there ready to tell her but that soon feel away. “I wanted to talk to you about the lock in,” Daniel lied - expertly as he usually did. Lies had always come easily to him… but for some reason, this time it hurt. “Needed to ask if you were actually going or if you were going to make a grand escape - mostly because after those point take aways come, there may be another school wide message from me exposing those people and I know you’d want to be in the front seat to see that happen”

“You do remember that I’ve been trying to throw Riker out of here since he moved in right? We both know that’s a you job rather than a me job - he clearly likes you more” Jordan joked as she ate the sandwich.
A soft laugh escaped Jordan’s lips as she revealed she would consider doing a video with the Jonas brothers - which, she’d done before so he wouldn’t be surprised. Plus they were currently working on their new album so Jordan knew they needed people in their videos that were about to be filmed. As he closed the phone - Jordan left Yara to her own devices to finish eating and get ready; which he did as well as he walked into his own bedroom and took a shower. He had once again converted the makeshift studio into a bedroom with the additional guests so Riker, Yara, and himself had their own rooms. Though they were still sharing two bathrooms - hence Riker almost always using most of the hot water up. Mostly on purpose to mess with the two them.
Jordan was done before Yara - walking back to the living room and taking a seat on the piano as he waited for the girl; playing random notes and tunes as he waited. His mind faltering back over to what Ziah had told him - subsequently breaking his heart. Perhaps that’s what had allowed him to write again - though this time his music diverged from his usual upbeat songs to a slower tone.
Though he was brought out of his mind as Yara came out; placing a smile on his face as he saw her. “Alrighty then - ready to mess with the boys?” Jordan asked - leading her outside to the car waiting for them that the studio had sent for his morning session. “Hey,” Jordan started. “What happened with you and Daniel in the woods… I know we never really talked about it. I’m sorry about sending you out there with him I just… thought a talk wouldn’t hurt but I’m kind of happy he was with you and made sure you were okay…”

“How dare you” Riker joked, leaning against his chair as he said that - laughter leaving his lips immediately. “I have at least two fan sites dedicated to the guy playing guitar behind Jordan Williams; a very proud accomplishment if you ask me,” he continued. “No but honestly; My grandmother was an amazing woman but she died way before I was born. Sometimes I wish I got to know her because she did seem like a really great woman, but what can you do?” Riker smiled. “I wouldn’t say the best life,” Riker stated, shrugging. “I’m happy where I am and I think they’re happy where they are. Trust me; my little sister loves the attention and my older brother loves showing off his engineering skills” Riker grinned, “You’d really like them though - they’re great people. I love hanging out with those two when we get together,”
Soon, as the conversation moved to her travels, Riker found himself fully engaged in what she was saying. “Well - you should come with me sometime. Just spin a globe and point at a place and we’ll go wherever your finger lands,” Riker responded honestly. “You’d also love South Africa. Maybe I can show you one day,” he grinned - taking a drink of the juice he had. Riker Taylor loved this - being in the company of a girl that could make an hour pass in a few seconds. He could be out here all day with her and it wouldn’t be long enough.
Though a sense of relief filled his senses when she revealed that he was stuck with her. “Are you sure?” immediately left his lips. “I want you to be comfortable. If you’re not - we can continue this picnic on the ground. It’s completely up to you.” With those words, the sun begin rising over the horizon - causing a beautiful pink hue to fill the sky which was… almost as breathtaking as the girl who sat before him. Riker shook his head at her next words however, “Elo - you could do anything and I would be happy,” he added. “Anyways - how are you? I heard about… everything that happened at camp with Dorian.” Riker frowned, keeping his hand on top of her own. “If you ever want to talk - I’m here…”

”Definitely” Valerie said in response to Akielah’s statement about her education being put to good use. It probably would, Akielah was the kind of 14 year old that made you question the existence of 14 year olds in general.

”True” she said ”The expert” she added, referring to Kai as she sipped her coffee once again.
She then told her about how she found entertainment through the cafe wifi and what she had found out about the couple in the other booth ”Oof poor kid” she said, in case the girl was actually pregnant, but her attention from the story was soon cut as the girl mentioned pranking Kai’s neighbour ”Did I hear pranking Kai’s neighbour?” she raised her brow with a playful smirk ”Wait which one?” she asked, knowing both Jordan and Riker lived there.
”Can’t complain about getting to hang with my favorite cousin though.”
”awee I’m flattered” she said and smiled at the comment ”Won’t finding me complaining about hanging with you either” she smirked ”I get to see you on your birthday I was planning on calling you later, but running into you here is way better” she said

”You day that, but you secretly like having him around here” she said as Jordan mentioned trying to throw Riker out. He then said it was more of a job for her than him because Riker clearly likes her more than he does him ”Debatable” she said. As Jordan spoke Yara’s mind momentarily went back to the time Riker had actually liked her, she did indeed like Riker quite a lot, he was a great guy, but at this point, him liking Yara more than Jordan was probably not really true.

”Always” she said with a smirk as they headed out to the car. They got in the car and started their way to the studio, and as the car started going faster, Yara was looking out the window when her attention was caught back by Jordan, when he asked her about what happened after he sent her and Daniel to the woods. Yara turned her gaze back to Jordan as he spoke, and answered his question ”Well, we went to the woods. And he didn’t really want to talk to me but I followed him… we argued, we kissed, and I woke up in a hospital.” she said, pausing a bit as she remembered the kiss, the one kiss that drove her whole body crazy with the feeling of a high, right before she collapsed. ”I guess we’re friends now” she said quietly, looking down with a light smile. She didn’t expect getting to a place with Daniel where they’re capable of being friends again, but she was really happy about it. She missed him, and after all, it might have been time to finally let him go.

They smiled at Marie as they saw her coming over to them, uncrossing their legs and moving over to make space for her as she sat down. “Hey!” They greeted her. “I’m good, what about you?” They responded, crossing their legs again. They were contemplating whether or not they should bring up what happened during dare or drink, unsure of whether she wanted to talk about it or not.

Marie smiled as Zion moved over for her, asking how she was. “I’m good. So…um…about the camping trip…I think we should talk about that, if that’s ok…” Marie said awkwardly. She played with her fingers, face bright red. She felt nauseous, but she chalked it off to being nervous. “D-do you maybe want to talk over a coffee? There’s a Starbucks down there and I didn’t eat breakfast yet.” She said, pointing to the coffee shop a couple feet down.

He led the way into the small cafe and found them a booth that was nestled in a corner by a window. It made the little booth bright. Something was off about Jezebel but maybe it was still some awkwardness between everything that had happened to them these last couple months. He was just happy she reached out to him and they were here now. “So, what’s up?” He asked her with a raised brow. She could take that question however she wanted, either just what she’s been up to or what was going on.

“Oh excuse me, mister two fan sites. I usually go for those with three or more but I’ll ignore that part” slightly raising her hands in defense, Elodie whispered through a chuckle, letting him continue his story. A smile didn’t leave her lips as he talked about his siblings - it was heartwarming to hear someone talking about their family like that. “An engineer, an actress and a guy with two fan sites, interesting family, I already like it,” she chuckled, half joking. “I would love to meet them, they do seem nice. And I could say the same about my brothers but you already know Dorian.”
“Are you sure?”
“I’m sure. We are staying here,” with a light nod, Elodie quickly replied but at the mentioning of her brother her smile disappear as she once again lowered her gaze. She felt bad for what she did at the camping trip, the way she reacted but she was very hurt in that moment. She was still hurt but the two of them did talk and she forgave him. Too easily but he was her brother, she didn’t want to be mad at him, she didn’t want him to feel bad. When Riker offered to listen to her if she ever needed someone to talk to, she chuckled and shook her head, even if she really appreciated that. “Oh that, yeah…It’s nothing. I should be mad but I’m not. Well… I am but it’s Dorian. He does a lot of stupid things. I just didn’t think he’d do something like that… but then, it’s just a game.” She kept a smile on, trying to convince him that everything was alright. Trying to convince herself. "It’s ok…” Quietly adding with a soft smile, her gaze lingering on him before looking down at his hand. “It just sucks that he lied and tried to make me believe in something else,” taking in a deep breath, she straightened up, her gaze traveling back to the side. He really did pick a perfect time; a breathtaking view making her for a second forget about their previous conversation. “What do you think we can see from up here?”

“Oh cool, okay,” Sadie replied when Ketziah told her she was planning to head for the lock in now. Then her eyebrows raised in surprise when she offered to give Sadie a ride. “Really? Yeah, that would be great, thank you so much,” She exclaimed, suddenly filled with worries that she may have made Ketziah feel forced into doing so. But she didn’t want to ask… in fear that it would be true.
A small laugh came from Ketziah after Sadie’s question, which was unexpected for her. She had prepared herself for a possessive and angry girlfriend response, annoyed about the dare she had with Jordan, telling her to never talk to him again. But that may be from too many interactions with Emily Dalton. Instead, Ketziah corrected Sadie by using the past tense, and explaining they aren’t together anymore. “Oh,” Was all she replied at first, not completely sure what to think or say. “That’s cool- I mean, no, it’s not cool that you aren’t togeth- well I don’t know what your relationship was like…” Sadie cleared her throat, “It’s cool that you’re still good friends.”

Delilah could detect the shock on Daniel’s face after she told him. Though, she was surprised that Daniel hadn’t worked out the real mother of the baby as soon as he found out about it. But instead, it was clear he was finding this out for the first time at that moment. Silence crept into the room as Daniel struggled what to say, to which Delilah looked around the room, perhaps in nerves at what telling him this now meant. Then her eyes circled back to the baby she had found herself stuck with. This certainly hadn’t been what she signed up for when she went on that short trip away.
After a while, Daniel’s voice broke the silence, as he started to compose a sentence appropriate for the situation. Delilah didn’t respond to him for a moment, as she was trying to work out if his words were genuine. Though after much deliberation, she realised that maybe they were, to which Delilah was now the one at a loss for words. Then seemingly out of nowhere, she hugged* him. Delilah Hawthorne hugged Daniel Parker. When she took a step back, she cleared her throat, not entirely sure what had come over her. “… Thanks, for, uh, all of that,” She said, with somewhat reluctance despite meaning it, before he started to back away.
The lock-in appeared to be the reasoning for Daniel’s visit, something Delilah had almost completely forgotten about. “Oh, right, yeah I haven’t quite decided yet. I wasn’t sure if a school lock-in was something worth wasting my time on, especially if there aren’t even chances for points,” She replied, almost like a different person to who she had been moments before. “Though witnessing the exposure of everyone’s secrets could be something worth staying for.”

Jezebel sat in the booth with Mikel, looking out the window for a moment, taking a deep breath, as Mikel asked what was up. The answer was, a lot. She looked back at Mikel, and started to speak, but stopped, changing her mind on what she was intending to say and how she would say it. “Well, I’m moving in with Daniel.” Jezebel was glad that things were good with her and Daniel again. If things weren’t, then things would have been much more complicated than they already were, but luckily Jezebel finally had one side of her family that there was a positive relationship with. She was on good terms with Daniel, Jessica was the best cousin she could want, and she finally was starting to have a relationship with her father like she had wanted for as long as she could remember, but she had lost the side of her family that raised her, probably forever. “And…” she paused, “I’m never talking to my mom again.”

Ketziah smiled at Sadie when she seemed excited by her offer of driving with her. “Of course! Right this way.” Ketziah said as she began to lead Sadie to the car. “He was a great boyfriend, but we’re better as friends.” Ketziah was never the type to be the possessive girl. She could be jealous at times, but even then, if she wasn’t with someone she would never have an issue with other people being around them, especially if it was a great guy like Jordan. Plus, Jordan was just her friend. She had cared about him as more when they were together, but they were just friends, and there was someone else she cared about as much more than a friend. “So, Sadie. You said you just moved and started at Cerulean this year, what brought you here? Isn’t it hard to be somewhere with nobody you know for your senior year?” Ketziah knew what it was like to be coming into the school during senior year, but it wasn’t entirely new for her. She was there her freshman year, and she knew so many people at the school already.

“Yeah, the things you find out just through observation and a little digging is crazy.” Akielah nodded with a slightly evil laugh and smile. “Yes, pranking Kai’s neighbor. Riker. We’ve got a bit of a war going on.” Anytime her and Riker were around each other, their ongoing prank war continued. Last time, she forced him into being a blonde, so she knew he would have to strike back against her while she was there. “Its his move next, but I have to be ready with a counterattack.” Akielah smiled at her cousin. “I like you better than my siblings anyway, so this is definitely better than just a call.”
