Riker da Taylor who’s related to that famous Taylor, yes, Elizabeth, that gal but also has a killer lifestyle of his own cause why not and is low key in love with Elo but we don’t talk about that okay

Laughter escaped his lips as he shrugged, “I promise to make myself another one once I get down there just for you okay,” Riker stated in his defense, a grin playing on his lips as he spoke to her. She did have a way of making him smile - though it was usually hard to make Riker stop smiling. But with Elo, Riker knew it was different. it wasn’t his usual living life smile. It was him enjoying the girl in his presence - the amazing, beautiful, kind, generous woman who sat in front of him - despite being scared of heights. He could get lost in that smile of hers - a warm feeling falling over his body as he kept his hand entangled within her own.
“Ahh you should meet them though… they would absolutely love you - and they’re all… very different but it works in a dysfunctional way,” Riker responded as she mentioned his family. “Though I’d love to know more about yours - I mean I know Dorian and he’s great… usually,” Riker stated - a slight mention at his actions from a few days ago. “But what about the others? Your parents? Other brother? Apparently, cousin that I had no idea about,” he grinned - a smile on his features as he recalled the information that Andy was their cousin and not a triplet scenario which… okay he was very very VERY confused.
His smile dropped ever-so-slightly as the conversation moved towards Dorain and the incident. He could see it in her eyes - as much as she tried to hide it. The hurt. Riker often did the same thing - hide the pain with a smile - so perhaps it was easier for him to see it on her. “But it’s a game that you thought he had your side on. I think… it was something he did at the moment but he probably really regrets it Elo. I don’t know if you know this but…” Riker started, scooting in as if he was going to tell her a secret “Us guys are pretty stupid 99% of the time” he finished with a laugh. “But yeah - I get it… I can’t imagine what it would be like if your twin lied to you…” he finished, “But hey - things will get better. It always does - and until then, you can escape everything up here with me,” he grinned - before looking down as she asked what they could see from up there.
“Well,” Riker started - standing up which moved the balloon slightly. He put his hand out - “hold my hand,” he whispered. “If you want - I’m not going to make you do anything you’re not comfortable with,” he stated. Though after a few seconds - he brought her over to the edge. “So that,” he said pointing to a speck - Is Cerulean High… that," he continued, softly wrapping his hands around her waist so she felt more secure, “Is actually your house,” he grinned. “And that…” he stated pointing to the blue water underneath them, “are my fish friends… nemo and dori are probably down there somewhere,”
