“A whole garden? Yeah, I could do that, no problem,” Pretending to be lost in his thoughts, thinking about what she said, he slowly spoke up, keeping his gaze on her with furrowed brows. “Just tell me which flowers you prefer?” He tried to keep a straight face and continue this little joke but the corner of his lips quickly turned up, revealing an innocent smirk. It was always easy talking to her, there was never pretending, at least not from his side and sometimes it can be hard to find something like that.
“Looks like I am but it’s whatever, right?” Rolling his eyes and saying his words the same way she did, he chuckled, placing his hand on the part of his body she shoved. This was probably the last time he would do something like that and randomly buy gifts, unless he really needs something because it seemed like it was working.
Tilting his head down and lowering his gaze to her hand that was slowly moving from his waist up to his shoulder, he smiled softly. “Oh, you did?” Slowly looking up to meet her eyes, he playfully raised his brow, opening his mouth to say something else but he heard his phone ringing, the same time Aline’s did. Seeing her reaching for her phone he did the same, taking a second to read the message and reply. And it was from the one and only, Tala. It was strange to see her on his list, especially in second place. He never really thought about her like that to see how they could be compatible, but apparently they were and thinking about it, he could see why.
To: Talzy
This is crazy
Placing his phone back in his pocket, he adjusted his bag and looked back at Aline with the same look from before. “So, where were we?” Chuckling, he took a step closer to her and now placed his hand on her hip. “I have to do something now,” playing with the fabric of her shirt, he kept his gaze down on his own hand, thinking of what was still waiting for him. Even if he just texted Tala he had to find her and give her the sunflowers he bought for her this morning. Same goes for Sadie and Mady, the new girls he wanted to surprise and leave a good impression. “I hope to see you soon, it’s been a while.” Looking up at her, he softly smiled, moving his hand back to his pocket. “Maybe we can do something today if you’re free?” Shrugging his shoulders, he simply asked. It wasn’t an invite for a date, she should know that so he didn’t point it out, it was just two friends hanging out together.
