Lyonrad Sei Fulcruth

Lyonrad rested his hand on the counter, still getting a hold on the glass. He was still on his way to drinking half of the small glass, and he was already feeling tipsy. He curled himself, resting his head on his arm. Oh God, I feel sick… He completely forgot about the girl he approached, and when he sat back up to see her, no one was there.

Whatever…

Feeling completely beaten by alcohol, he curled himself again. Lyonrad knows well how weak his tolerance to alcohol was. Needless to say, it was his worst decision to even try it.

“Well, you look horrendous,”

Startled, Lyonrad quickly sat back up. His short panic made him lose hold of his glass, causing it to spill to his pants. He grunted at his clumsiness, standing up to wipe the stain off his pants—which he failed to do. He felt like he was on a small boat, swayed by large waves of the sea. He couldn’t control where he could just be, and his imbalance had him return to the bar counter.

But no, he did not end up sitting again. With his arms on the counter, supporting his stance, his eyes met with a familiar one. Recognition quickly sparked on his face, a smirk forming from his mouth. It was Delilah, his dearest girl in the whole world, trapped between him and the bar counter.

“Oh, hey, Delilah.” he almost whispered, “You look… gorgeous.

I feel like the night only started… It will only get better,
She chuckled lightly “fair enough” she said with a light shrug
Mine are, well…I can’t really say but they are interesting.
“Interesting…” She nodded lightly “interesting is good. I think” she said but raised her brow unsure
She noticed how Elo was biting her lip, it might have been that, or the booze, or a million other reasons but it brought her back to different times, it was always her weakness.
Like always,
She smiled lightly “absolutely” she chuckled But seriously, do I look good enough to approach someone?
Valerie listened to the question and examined Elodie’s look, and maybe she lost it a bit and ended up slightly staring and biting her lip lightly
Something inside her hoped Elo didn’t notice but it wasn’t really subtle, and the other side didn’t want her to miss that.
She zoned back and gave herself a little push so she won’t lean on the sink anymore “Yeah, absolutely. You look perfect, and I’m not biased” she said and ran a hand through her hair “okay maybe only a bit” she smirked and walked out giving her a little wink when she passed by.
I really need another drink she thought to herself and headed back to the bar
She looked around as she walked, and ran a hand through her hair, she did that quite a lot, run her hand through her hair.
The bar wasn’t crowded at all, there were only a few people, Natalia (if she wasn’t mistaking) And some other guy which she didn’t recognize, probably the new guy she heard about.
He seemed nice, not usually her type but still, a good impression is never wrong. Maybe steal him away from his conversation he seemed fun . internal smirk
She walked over to the bar and ordered herself a drink, something strong.
She was standing by the bar on the guy’s opposite side from Natalia
“Hey” she said with a light smirk “Are you new or do I need glasses” she asked with a light smirk and raised her brow playing with her glass

I’ve never thought about it that way, ‘‘Really? I mean… I don’t think the secret was that embarrassing though foot pics aren’t a big deal to be honest.’’ Paris shrugged and pursed her lips, ‘‘But I wouldn’t reccomend trying it out.’’ She joked.

That makes a lot of sense… Paris nodded, That annoys you, really? ‘‘Yes really! It’s like you don’t know the person AT ALL and they just think your into them.’’ She explained. Do you want my number, Paris? ‘‘Eh, let me think.’’ Paris looked around playfully, stroking her chin. ‘‘Do I want your number?’’ She said faintly.

‘‘I guess… I could reserve it for you in my very busy schedule.’’ She smirked, ‘‘How about a deal? You put your number in… I’ll see if I delete it or not.’’ She raised her eyebrows and pursed her lips, grabbing her phone from the black fur coat.

When someone asks me on a date… ‘‘What? I think it’s the most romantic thing ever, It’s like would you marry me but instead do you wanna be more then friends.’’ She did a pouty face and pointed her fingers together. (:point_right::point_left:)

Waiting for Valerie to say something, anything, she carefully watched her reaction. It was not hard for her to pick up on details, she liked to be the one that notices everything and knows when something is going on. Just like now, she could see Valerie zooned out for a bit looking at her longer than she expected but Elodie didn’t say anything. Instead, she looked down at her dress, dusting it off. “Yeah, absolutely. You look perfect, and I’m not biased” Chuckling, she looked up at her, jokingly rolling her eyes but once again kept quiet waiting for her to do something first. She felt like Val was giving her compliments in more of a flirtatious way even if she knew that wasn’t the smartest idea.
Crossing her arms, she looked over her shoulder at the door before Valerie walked out, simply smiling at her. Of course she thinks like that, she thought as she looked at the mirror one last time before walking out herself.

With a soft smile on, she stopped right in front of the door, looking around for anyone she might know. Since she got here she didn’t see her bother which was quite unusual because he would always be somewhere around, creeping on her. Or that was just something that was in her head. It was then when her eyes landed on two guys, just standing and talking.
“Hey,” she sweetly said as she slowly approached them, putting on a warm, innocent smile she almost always had on. She didn’t really know the guys but she did recognise one because of her brother. He was on his team if she wasn’t mistaken. “You’re Maverick, right?” She asked a bit unsurely but tried to seem confident about her words and actions. Always being around Dorian and listening to his football stories over the dinner table she knew pretty much about everything going on in that team. It wasn’t something she was interested in but she always had to listen, there was no other choice.

“Here,” looking down at her purse as she opened it, taking out the reddish lipstick she always puts before lipgloss, she leaned against the counter grabbing a paper tissue. Writing down her number, trying not to make it look sloppy considering she was using lipstick she gently pushed it closer to him, looking up with the same warm smile on. “If you see him give me a call,” she quickly added, staying quiet for a second before chuckling to herself, pushing a strand of her hair behind her ear. “Or just tell him I’m looking for him, that makes more sense. But yeah…” Slightly shaking her head, she laughed lightly looking down at her purse as she put her lipstick back in it, closing it after. “See you around,” looking up at both of them, tightly holding her purse, she sweetly said before walking away.

But there was nothing to do, all her friends were either talking with someone or were nowhere to be seen. Stopping the waiter passing by her, she took a glass from his tray with a warm smile before turning around only to come face to face with Safiya. “Oh, you’re here too?” She spoke up right away, trying to sound as polite as possible. She didn’t like her that much, she thought they were too different but that didn’t mean she had to act differently.

Delilah Rose Hawthorne

She raised her eyebrows at his shock at her coming. Maybe it was him being under the influence, or perhaps it was just the fact it was her that had approached him. Either way, the surprise had been enough to cause him to spill his drink to which Delilah laughed at, but made no effort to help him, instead she merely watched him embarrassingly fail to clean up. When looking around, Delilah could see that his sudden disturbance had been noticed by a few people around them.

Delilah didn’t think much into his reply at all, compliments had been given out by everyone to her all her life so much so that they were now meaningless to her. “I know.” She replied, with a sigh, nonchalantly, her attention on anything but him.

When she finally looked back at him, she realised something. Though he wasn’t in as bad of a state as Candice had been, Lyonrad still was not in the right head space to be thinking about tasks or anything to do with Blue Royalty. That, of course, was not a bad thing for Delilah, and she did not intend on doing anything to motivate him into focusing on the game. “Is this your way of saying you give up on Blue Royalty?” Delilah simply asked instead, for conformation that he was completely ruled out as a competitor.

As soon as Kara’s emotions came out she knew that she messed up. Thats exactly what Delilah wanted to happen. Kara straightened up her posture so that she could calm down. She didn’t want Delilah to see her in this state any longer. The girl whispered something to her that was really supporting. For someone that was hanging out with Delilah it was unexpected. Kara smiled at her.

“Please, I never was in love with him,” She rolled her eyes. “You think I actually thought that? I just wanted to see what you would say.” Kara laughed bitterly. Delilah walked off after saying she would rather be anywhere but there. “Bye she devil!” She yelled out to her. She stood up and was about to leave but the girl was still in the pool. “Gosh you look totally out of it. I don’t even know your name.” She reached out her hand to pull her up from the pool.

“I know.” Delilah was indifferent to Lyonrad, but it was no surprise to him. She’s Delilah Hawthorne after all; he can’t expect her to go all red and timidly say “thank you” at his compliment. He knows her too well to be affected by her nonchalance.

He let out a chuckle, slumping himself onto the chair next to Delilah again. With an arm on the counter, he rested his face on his palm, looking at Delilah intently. Delilah Rose Hawthorne. She was the girl Lyonrad considered as his biggest competitor, though with their relationship’s existence. Lyonrad had her to have something else, and Delilah did her stuff as well in return. Basically, they were a different type of “enemies with benefits.”

“Is this your way of saying you give up on Blue Royalty?” Delilah asked. After a pause, Lyonrad began to laughed at her question. He was offended at first, disappointed at how lowly she thought of him—but it became funny enough for him to laugh about it.

He pointed at himself, creasing his forehead. “Me? Give up? You underestimate me!” He pointed at Delilah, “It is only the start!”

He laughed again, “But if ever I was going to give up, which—by the way!—will never happen, don’t you go crying on me for leaving, okay?”

”Eh, let me think.”
“Oh, don’t do this to me!” Playfully putting his hand over his heart with a pout on as he tried to stay afloat, he added in a teasing tone. He was joking and honestly thought she would just ignore him but she didn’t. Instead, she reaching for her phone in the pocket of her black coat, making him smirk ever so lightly. It was a good deal, the first one of that kind and it kind of made his night.

Diving in for a second, he came back up shaking his head right away before running his fingers through his hair. So much for putting effort into making it look nice. Swimming back to the edge of the pool, he gently shook his hands in an attempt to dry them before taking her phone. “The thing with trying to get someone’s number is that you never know if they gave you the real one,” he joked as he quickly typed in his number and full name. “Can’t wait to see what you’d do with it. Hopefully you’d make a good decision,” as he was about to give that phone back to her, he quickly pulled back, still holding it tightly.

“You know, all you have to do is ask,” he replied after she mentioned dates being one of the most romantic things. He didn’t really have an opinion about them, he never thought much about them. In fact, he’d never been on a real date before even if he had a girlfriend. To him, those were just fun days he’d spent with someone close to him. “Maybe you can change my mind about it and I’d give you back your phone?”

Oh, don’t do this to me! She chuckled, ‘‘I like a working man.’’ Paris winked at him and took out her phone making sure the case was only tightly incase it got wet. She moved her phone away when Dorian dived in and waited.

The thing with trying to get someone’s number is that you never know if they gave you the real one, ‘‘Mm… alright.’’ Can’t wait to see what you’d do with it. Hopefully you’d make a good decision… She tried to grab the phone and Dorian pulled it away. ‘‘Okay, very funny…’’

You know, all you have to do is ask… Okay Okay, remain calm don’t get funny just smile at his jokes, or whatever. Maybe you can change my mind about it and I’d give you back your phone? ‘‘Alright…’’ She scratched her neck.

‘‘Dates… there more then a night out, or just a trip. It kind of gives you a straight forward answer If you want this person in your life. You connect with them… you bond with them, Mainly you get to see a side of them when they kind of open up,’’ She continued.

‘‘It’s like in court, you can be sentenced to days or even years in the friend-zone. You can mess up and testify guilty.’’ Paris look deep into Dorian’s eyes. ‘‘But… you will always kind of have a defendant, somebody who battle for his or her’s love and if you get sentenced they make sure you’ll never have a chance to get out.’’

Paris coughed and broke eye contact, ‘‘But you never know with dates millions of things can go wrong.’’ She shrugged.

Calen James Hunter

His attention was taken by another girl who approached the two. This had been the perfect ego-booster for Calen, it had hardly been an hour into his first night in Cerulean High territory and he had already talked to 4 different girls. Though, he did hope to soon befriend some of the guys at Cerulean High, since he knew that getting into the top-tier friendship group, which he thought could potentially be a sports team, would be the main victory. Aside from Blue Royalty, of course.

As the new girl approached him, Calen’s eyes automatically scanned her up and down. She was pretty, he’d give her that, and she seemed relatively confident. Immediately after she asked the question to him, Calen’s jaw dropped slightly and his eyebrows shot up. “Well clearly you do need glasses,” He replied, a growing look of annoyance appearing on his face. “Did all those chemistry lessons we sat next to each other in just mean nothing to you? Wow, message received, then.”

After waiting for her response, Calen smiled. “Don’t worry, you don’t need glasses right now.” He said, humorously. “Yeah, I’m new. Just recently moved here. So what’s your name?”

Candice closed her eyes for a second as Kara said something to Delilah, attempting to get any coherent thought together. Yes, she was more sober than before she went into the pool - but she was still borderline tipsy/drunk. Her eyes opened however when she heard the words “you look totally out of it. I don’t even know your name.”

As she opened her eyes, the first thing Candice realized was she was still wearing her dress. In the pool. Yep - she definitely looked as drunk as she felt. She knew everyone who knew her, or even knew of her, had probably already taken photos of her idiocracy. Little Miss. Perfect is not so perfect anymore - though, Candice hated to break it to whoever would say that… she was never perfect. Not even close to it. “Yeah…” Candice started - her head starting to throb ever so slightly. “Had a few problems before getting here and I decided to drown my sorrows in Vodka,” the girl stated honestly with a smile. Perhaps if she hadn’t been inebriated, she wouldn’t have been so honest with the girl. But at this point, she didn’t care anymore.

Putting her hand out to grab the girl’s, Candice pulled herself up - water dripping from her body the moment she was out. “I really appreciate it… I’m Candice though some people also call me CC. Sorry I haven’t had a chance to introduce myself at school - but I’ve seen you around living it up with your friends,” the girl smiled. Candice walked over to the nearby dispensary to grab a towel before returning to the girl. Though her thoughts were still scrambled, the way Kara looked before when talking about Dorian had stuck with her. “I was being honest by the way - if you want to tell a stranger how you’re feeling, I’m always here to listen. Plus there is a very low chance I’ll remember this in the morning - so the offer stands with perks” Candice said with a laugh.

His reaction to her question was exactly what Delilah had expected. Though he denied giving up, she was almost one hundred percent sure Lyonrad had forgotten the tasks he had been sent at the beginning of the night. Was she underestimating him? The thought didn’t even cross her mind. His body language before Delilah was in his eyeview had confirmed to her that he couldn’t have been plotting how he was going to execute his tasks, and therefore he must have either given up or forgotten about it. And Delilah asking him about it had caused him to think about it for what was probably the first time that night.

Delilah was convinced he was just in denial when he claimed it was only the beginning. “Yes, and the start is normally where most people would…” She gestured towards him, who she assumed had done nothing for the competition. “… Start.

“Please, if you were to leave, I can assure you, crying would be the last thing I do.” Delilah replied with a laugh and eye roll. For the most part, she saw Lyonrad as only competition. But, competition that Delilah knew she could easily beat. Though there were few, extremely rare occasions when they worked together, Delilah knew she was just a competitor to him and she liked to keep it the same way on her side.

Jezebel was surprised slightly by being told to wait, but as Jezebel heard the song change she couldn’t help but smile. She had watched him walk back towards her, noting his worn shoes. She understood that some worn down shoes were nice to wear, but with joining Blue Royalty on the line, one had to be careful with their image. She chuckled slightly at the description of her he had given for the song. With a slight smirk she said, “Thanks for calling me beautiful.” Then she smiled. “The name’s Jezebel. You are?”

Kara noticed that she still had her clothes on. Of course Delilah would push her in there like that The thought made her so annoyed that she rolled her eyes. “Yeah, I figured that you were drunk. sigh please…don’t do that again” She explained. She didn’t even know her yet but she felt the need to protect her. She got out of the pool and water was dripping everywhere. Kara didn’t want to get wet so she held the girls arms at a safe distance. Nope not my dress, not today. No ma’am She thought. The girl introduced herself as Candice. “Well, it’s nice to meet you…considering the circumstances. Anyways, I don’t have many friends but it’s nice that you…you know noticed me and wanted to talk to me.” Kara said. She wasn’t keen on trusting people fast but something about this girl seemed genuine. “Oh What the heck. You already heard everything.” Then she realized that she wouldn’t remember anyway. “You know what. Talk to me tomorrow and we can work something out.” Kara was going to lead her somewhere but she wasn’t sure where to go. “Umm…so where do you want to go? I’m not used to…handling this.”

”Thanks for calling me beautiful.” “Well what else would I call you since it’s the truth and I don’t lie.” He told her and stuck out his pinky as if he were to pinky promise her something. Like a child though Mikel had childish tendencies now and then so this wasn’t surprising. “Mikel, Mikey, Mike. Really whatever you want.” He replied back to her and was glad that be could change her mood. “I’m sure whoever tried poured that on your shoes doesn’t have a song dedicated to them, so you now have the upper hand.” Her chuckled to himself. “What are you going to do with all that power damn.“ He thought about her name. It sounded like something out of a Disney movie. A princess name for sure.

He looked at her still holding the shoes and realized they had made it to the bathroom to clean them up. “We can continue on our trek to the bathroom and get you fixed up if you want. The music will be here when we get back, plus the dance floor looks a little crowded.” He looked around her at the people now dancing to the faster and more up beat tune opposed to the slow and old music that was playing before. He knew he had his tasks to do tonight too but he figured he had time and wasn’t going to leave Jezebel alone now after he had worked to make her hopefully happier. He knew sadness and didn’t wish it upon anyone. Not really even people he hated, which was few. But here people didn’t talk about those types of things because one, you don’t want to look weak and people know those weaknesses and two, it could just make you look bad and threaten your chances for being a blue.

“Yes, and the start is normally where most people would… start.”

Lyonrad snorted at Delilah’s answer. He did not comprehend it too much, but he thought it did not make sense. Surely, it meant something deeper, but he did not even bother to know. He stood up again, trying to keep his balance in mind. Though he was feeling tipsy, he still had the “need” to complete his task. He wasn’t going down without a fight; it was a shame to him.

And thanks to Delilah, he remembered what he should do. For sure, he’s a bit incapable of doing so, but priorites are priorities after all. “Yes, and I will do what must be done.”

“Please, if you were to leave, I can assure you, crying would be the last thing I do.” Lyonrad laughed as Delilah rolled her eyes.

“Come on, not even a pinch of worry for your dearest man? Aren’t you gonna cheer him up?” he asked, a mocking tone clear in his voice. He laughed at his own jest as he started to walk slowly.

“Ok, that was deep,” he quietly said a bit shocked by her words, handing her phone back and raising his arms in defeat. Once again she surprised him because that wasn’t what he expected. He was just joking, expecting she would do the same but he did like this ending better. “Where is that coming from, huh?” With a faint chuckle, he lifted himself up to the edge of the pool before running his fingers through his hair in attempt to fix it. No matter how much he tried, he believed he didn’t need anyone else in life to stay happy. Family and friends were enough for him, he liked that kind of company and he did like the company of some girls but that was it. No opening up and showing different sides, there was no room for it. The way he grew up kind of shaped his opinion on those kind of things… as well as other things he didn’t want to think about. And he never had a problem with showing that.

“Still not convinced,” adding with a weak smile on his lips, he put his hand back in the water splashing her carefully. The way she did earlier. “I’ve never been on such a date,” shrugging his shoulders once again, he leaned back looking up at the starry night.

Calen James Hunter

Though she went along with it, Calen could see from the laugh and brow raise that she didn’t seem to be convinced by Calen’s joke. Damn, He thought. Although he was mostly just disappointed about how his efforts had failed, it had also made him question his acting skills - and wonder what gave him away. Nevertheless, he hoped this girl had a sense of humour, as it almost certainly would put him automatically on her good side, for being able to not take everything too seriously.

Calen smiled, satisfied with himself when she told him she liked it, as it meant he had succeeded in that way at least. He gave an exaggerated look of disappointment when he told her she doesn’t take chemistry. “So, you’re saying…” He started, with one had used to gesture for emphasis, and the other hidden away in his pocket. “If I had picked a different subject, I would have convinced you?”

The girl introduced herself as Valerie, a name, like the others, he had not heard before. “I’m Calen Hunter.” He replied, learning from his last conversation that surnames were important - if it was recognisable to people, you were instantly a respectable person to them. Therefore, he could only come to the conclusion that Val hadn’t said her surname in fear of it not being known. “So how much of a competitor should I be expecting you to be?” Calen asked her, knowing he didn’t have to explicitly name what he was referring to, as it was constantly on people’s minds anyway.

She slightly choked almost spitting her drink as he said his name was Callen Hunter, but she stopped herself and covered her mouth hoping that wasn’t too noticeable.
She swallowed her drink and looked back at him “Callen Hunter as in… Warren Hunter’s son?” She asked
f-ck f-ck f-ck f-ck f-ck no
So how much of a competitor should I be expecting you to be?
“I’m always a big competition” she said “even in other cases. But I don’t bite” she smirked “unless needed of course”
