Daniel smiled at Ruby, saying “Well…Tell her I say hi and tell the others they can go screw themselves.” Ruby giggled, smiling back. “That he does. I’ll see you there. I’m interested to see how this whole thing…escalates.” Ruby nodded. “It’s not going to end well…” She shook her head. “Ruby Danvers, it’s been a pleasure. I’m looking forward to seeing you at the after-party, but for now I have a few things I need to take care of. No more drinking, ok?” Daniel said as Ruby nodded. “Will do. I’ll see you there.” Ruby said, waving as she walked away. He’s really nice. Ruby thought. She saw the Prom King and Queen, aware she’d failed her task, but who cared? She couldn’t ruin this moment for them. Then she’d feel even worse than she usually did. She didn’t know what the repercussions would be, but anything would be better than ruining the King and Queen’s night.

Malachi Azure
Malachi’s initial agreement had been an uncertainty the first time, but were Elodie to ask him again, he wouldn’t say no. Even if things were more complicated than they were before, he would still agree. He nodded slightly. There were some problems, but it hadn’t been a disaster. “I’m actually looking forward to seeing what being at Cerulean is like for myself.” He had done some digging of his own, and knew what the school was like, even if it wasn’t an exact certainty what he had gotten himself into. Malachi watched Elodie’s reaction to what was happening on the stage when the song ended. He didn’t know those involved, or what the full story was, but he could tell Elodie knew something and part of it bothered her. He didn’t know enough to question anything, especially when she looked back to him with a smile as if she had no concern. He nodded in response to her question as she stepped away with the new song. “Yeah, I’ve met a few people that go here.” Malachi paused for just a slight moment. Though he had met some of the senior class, didn’t know them well, except for one person. “Then my cousin, Valerie, is a senior here too.” Then after just another song, there was an announcement for prom king and queen, and that the prom queen was Elodie herself. Malachi smiled at her. “Congratulations Elodie. Go enjoy being queen.”
“Yeah okay, think of that again next time your mum gets you stuck at home doing nude photoshoots, and pretty much nobody but me even gives a sh!t after the first day you’re gone,”
Yeah… CC deserved that. No, she deserved that and so much more with everything she had said over the past few minutes. Candice knew none of it was true, but she said it with the sole intention of hurting Valerie. Hurting her and distracting her from the real truth that Candice could never tell Val… even if she would find out soon enough. Everyone would. So, even though the words stung - Candice took them as she had learned over the years from the verbal abuse her mother threw at her. Not flinching, rather remaining stoic. Her eyes turning glossy as she listened.
“I’d screw a 40-year-old married man ten times but at least I’m not being a fcuking hypocrite”
With every word, Candice felt her heart breaking - though she made sure no one would be able to see it from the exterior. “Cute,” Candice mumbled, shaking her head not knowing what else to say. “Why don’t you go do that? Dom is waiting after all. The door’s right there,” Candice stated, motioning towards the door - her heart racing.
“Cute, Why don’t you go do that? Dom is waiting after all. The door’s right there,”
”Yeah sure, just walk away from your problems, Candice” Valerie said as the girl started walking towards the door. Looking back, she hasn’t called her Candice in AGES, she never used that name, it always seemed like strangers, too serious or formal to her other than the nicknames. She only called her than when she was mad or being serious, and she was both.
Valerie was really mad, and she didn’t even know why, probably because CC was her best friend she was like the person she loved the most in this world and fighting with her was just harder and more painful with every second that passes. That room became like a prison making Valerie anxious, but at the same time Valerie felt in her heart that even if she left that prison room, things could never fully go back to what they were before.
She couldn’t take it anymore and just turned away and left the room not noticing or interacting with anyone as she passed through the venue towards the entrance, she needed air. She needed something to stop her from crying.
Standing outside, Valerie found a nice spot where it wasn’t raining, she usually loved rain but she was too flustered to appreciate it just as much. She looked through her phone and saw a message about a party at Mikel’s, she wasn’t really in the mood for a party but she definitely needed a distraction, so she was about to call an Uber when she remembered Dominic offered to take her there. But after this whole Candice incident she didn’t really want to be around Dominic which sucked because the whole night long he was being an absolutely perfect date.
She called an Uber to come take her, and while she waited she texted Dom so he’s aware
I left the venue, sorry I didn’t talk to you I’m not really in a good mood anymore. See you at the party probably
Luciano Ribeiro
He really wanted to do it now, not gonna lie. He was almost prepared to drop everything to go to the court or whatever—how does one change their middle name anyway—and bring the receipts of his name change, just so he could show Gio that he totally would do it. It’s not like it would majorly affect his life afterwards at all anyway, so he really had nothing stopping him. “Guess we will see, won’t we?” Luciano grinned mischievously. “And you’ll be the first to know of my new middle name.”
"What a fcuking outrage.” He rolled his eyes, scoffing. “A total f-cking outrage,” he echoed, the corner of his lips slightly quirking upwards. “Might as well drop out 'cause we’re such geniuses, what even is the point of still schooling?”
”Do you need reasons to go on dates with me? What an outrage.” He laughed, shaking his head. “Of course not, obviously going on a date with you is enough reason to go on a date with you. I’m just saying more reasons to go on dates with you are good.” His lips twisted into a smile. “I’ll take any excuse to spend more time with you, duh.”
"Massive weird. It’s insane.” It really was so weird to think about. He still wasn’t entirely sure what it was he wanted to do for the rest of his life, which is kind of concerning considering it’s his senior year, but he was sure he’d figure it out soon. “A big road trip would be cool to do right before college,” he mused out loud. “Another adventure before everything changes.”
His phone buzzed in his pocket too, and he took it out, noting the new message to be from Mikel. Before he opened it, Gio turned his own phone over to him, and Luciano got to read over it. A prom after party? That sounded like it would be fun. He grinned, nodding at Gio. “Sounds awesome.” He was about to add on to that, but he was interrupted by the prom king and queen announcement, so he turned his head to the stage.
Surprisingly enough, he was the prom king—why had people voted for him—and one of his good friends, Elodie, was the queen. The smile kind of froze on his face, as he definitely was not expecting this to be the outcome of the vote, and he hadn’t entirely wanted it to be either. The points for Blue Royalty were cool and all, but he didn’t want to have all of this attention on him. Any hope he had of being able to go on with his night without any notice was dashed when a literal spotlight dropped onto him. Luciano squinted, adjusting his eyes to the light, spotting Elodie with her own spotlight on the opposite side of the room. He glanced back at Gio, an apologetic grimace on his face. “Sorry,” he murmured, slipping his hand into Gio’s to give it a little squeeze. “Looks like I’ve got to ditch you for a bit.”
@CerealKiller - nooo whyyy you won last time you are championne
@astxrism - mentioned, he’ll be with elodie in like a post
“Yeah sure, just walk away from your problems, Candice”
Maybe that was what she was doing. Maybe…just maybe that was exactly what Candice Clarke was doing and had been doing for her whole life - but there was only so much that she could do at this point. CC watched as her former best friend walked though the door, possibly for the last time and that idea hurt CC more than any other hardship she had been through. Though the moment her friend was gone, Candice simply stayed there, frozen as she looked at the closed door. The words “I’m sorry,” left her lips after a second as a single tear fell down her eye. Sorry for today… for tomorrow, and what ws soon to happen. Candice thought to herself as she turned towards the mirror once again, looking at the mess that ‘Candice Clarke’ had grown up to become.
“Guess we will see, won’t we? And you’ll be the first to know of my new middle name.”
“We shall see” Gio smirked and sipped his drink Can’t wait” he added
“A total f-cking outrage,Might as well drop out 'cause we’re such geniuses, what even is the point of still schooling?”
”There is no point, complete lack of point, but it’s kinda fun” he said regarding school.
”Of course not, obviously going on a date with you is enough reason to go on a date with you. I’m just saying more reasons to go on dates with you are good. I’ll take any excuse to spend more time with you, duh."
Gio smiler at the statement, ”Sounds good to me” he said as the smile in his face grew ”Time with you? Sign me up” he chuckled
“A big road trip would be cool to do right before college, Another adventure before everything changes.”
”Any ideas where to?” he asked. he wondered what things will be like when Lui goes to college, obviously things would change but something inside him was just worried everything will fall apart, but he tried taking his mind off that and focus on nicer stuff.
A few moments after the announcement for prom king and queen arrived, and Gio was not at all surprised Lui won it, along with Elodie which also wasn’t too much of a surprise. He smiled and clapped “Sorry, Looks like I’ve got to ditch you for a bit.”
”Go on your highness” he smirked as he watched Lui go over to the center

As valerie stood outside waiting for her Uber, the anger switched and turned into pure heart piercing pain, she leaned against the wall and looked up trying to hold the tears from coming, but even that couldn’t stop them and the pain she felt inside her heart.
The tears rolled down her cheek as she felt her heart break into a million pieces, Candice was pretty much the only person in this school and probably in this world that had the power to hurt Valerie just this much, no breakup or goodbye felt quite as bad as that feeling inside her heart that she probably just lost her very best friend. The one person she loved more than anyone in this world and who knew her better than she knew herself.
Not saying Valerie herself was being an angel, thinking back about the things she just said to Candice, she wouldn’t even be surprised if the girl never even looked at her again.
@benitz786 I need people to go to mikelsssss reeee
Ruby decided to head over to Mikel’s, checking the message he sent out. Luckily, he sent his address…at least Ruby hoped it was his. Who knows? He was drunk. It could lead off a cliff for all she knew. She shrugged, sending a quick text to Tala.
Hey, just letting you know that I’m heading over to Mikel’s so you didn’t freak out when you can’t find me. I’ll hopefully see you there.
Ruby hit send, putting her phone on her pocket and walking to her car. She soon got to Mikel’s house, ringing the doorbell.@Madilfill - Mikel

“As much as it would be exciting,” he started, chortling at Kara’s giggles. “I don’t think there will be especially when the school organized it.”
“Well, that would be awfully boring, don’t you think?” She said with a cheeky smile.
“Should we get a drink?”
“Yes, let’s go.” She grabbed on to his arm as they made their entrance to prom. The venue looked like your typical prom, but that was what she liked about it. She passed by people standing around and looking at the stage. “What’s going on?” She said out loud. While walking further in she noticed the Prom king and queen being announced, and it was Luciano and Elodie. She was mostly jealous instead of glad for them. “I- what?” She blurted out. She thought for sure that it would be her and Lyonrad, so she was becoming annoyed. She turned back to him. “I thought we were really going to win.” She heard her phone buzz in her purse and took it out to see who could possibly be texting her. It was from Mikel. She had never talked to Mikel before and she wondered what this could be about.
F prom. My house now. Time for a real good time
“What do you think about this.” She said, showing the phone to Lyonrad.

Brandon saw Maverick walking over them, and he was happy to see him. “Nice suit man.” He said as he neared the table.
“You two do know that all the food is labeled right there, right?”
Brandon peered at what Maverick pointed to, and it was a sign behind the tray of jalapeno poppers, “How did I not see that.” He said while laughing and shaking his head. That was pretty embarrassing and all he could do was laugh it off. “I guess you have better eyes than I do.”
@Littlefeets Maverick I was slightly scared of what he was going to do

with Dorian DeLoughrey
France nodded, shifting her weight. “It is,” she said, an honest agreement to Dorian’s comment. She didn’t really mind Maverick leaving her alone, but she would’ve actually preferred it when he told her honestly. Well, she’s not really sure if he did, but that was something she didn’t want to think about right now.
To Dorian’s confidence, France’s eyebrows arched and she giggled. “Well…” she paused, keeping her eyes on Dorian for seconds. “… what if I tell you yours is better?” she said, matching his smirk with her own. It may or may not be true, but she didn’t knew and she haven’t been with Maverick Weston for long to judge it, but she enjoyed Dorian’s company… at least for tonight.
France shrugged, “Of course you do.” she said, “A fine man like you will always be able to, ain’t I right? I say, any girl would be lucky with you.” She lifted the other corner of her lips, a full smile etched for Dorian. “Hmm, I must say, you’re one good man. That’s so thoughtful of you.” She ran her hand to her face, moving the section of her hair that covered her eye. “Maverick Weston’s the name, and I would like to add the fact that I don’t know him-”
France’s words were cut off when she noticed the lights moving. Her eyes followed to the spots it stopped on—Elodie and Luciano. She was engaged in the conversation with Dorian that she didn’t notice why they were being lit up by the spotlights, but she believed they were the prom king and queen. “That’s your sister, right?” she started, turning her attention back to Dorian.
Mikel found himself laying on his bed, laying on his side and looking at the wall. His eyes roamed quickly from picture to picture that were tapped up onto the black wall. He stood up and slowly started taking them down one by one. Throwing them over his shoulder as they started to cover the floor. He chuckled to himself and took a drink from the bottle that was set on the floor. His head was turned when the door bell rang and surprisingly he heard it over the music place and the sound of people talking.
He hurried down the stair case, the bottle still in his hand and his party favors in his pocket. He had changed clothes soon after getting home and threw the suit coat into the fireplace, though it wasn’t on he had wished it was. He wasn’t going to be that reckless, not yet at least. “Why the hell are you not just walking in?” He asked the girl who was familiar to her and remembered she smoked. “Hm can I take you up on that cig now?” He asked with a raised brow. His eyes were red and glazed over and he wasn’t making eye contact while he spoke.
“There’s drinks, everyone. Drink it all or nothing. I don’t care what you do.” He said to her and turned around and walked with his hands in the air. The bottle fell from his fingers and he laughed as the glass shattered. “Oh well it tasted like crap anyways.” He said to no one in particular and let his long legs take him to the bar to find something else to drink.
@Ouijaloveletters mentioned anyone interact okay yes
Mikel opened the door after a minute, looking extremely stoned. “Why the hell are you not just walking in?” Mikel asked her, sounding exasperated. “Because that’s rude?” Ruby awkwardly questioned. “Hm, can I take you up on that cig now?” Mikel asked. “Sure, why not.” Ruby said, nodding as she walked inside. “Nice house.” She commented. “There’s drinks everyone. Drink it all, or nothing. I don’t care what you do.” He said, dropping the bottle he was holding, spraying glass everywhere. Ruby quickly began picking up the glass, not caring when she started to bleed. She took care of the glass, wrapping her bloody hands in paper towels.

Jezebel Mallory Sloane
A part of Jezebel desperately wished to have let that moment with Jordan last forever. She had missed him more than she even knew how to say. The way his smile was enough to make her feel better, how he made her feel when they talked, his touch against her skin, the way he knew her better than anyone else did, she missed everything about him. Even as she pulled away from him, a large part of her didn’t want to. Seeing Mikel there, having seen her and Jordan together, hurt her. She cared about him, and didn’t mean to hurt him like that. Kissing Jordan was something she hadn’t planned to do. She didn’t know she was going to kiss him until her lips were on his. Even if she wanted to, she couldn’t take it back. Mikel still saw her and Jordan kissing. There was nothing Jezebel could do about that. The most she could do about it was tell Mikel the truth. She was confused about what to do, and what she felt. She looked at the message on her phone that Mikel sent to everyone about a party as the wind grew stronger and colder. Jezebel looked back to Jordan, holding his jacket close when he put it over her shoulders. She smiled slightly at him when he kissed her forehead, but he would have been able to easily notice the sadness behind her smile. It was breaking her to have to walk away from Jordan, but she had to. She had to talk to Mikel. For all she knew, Mikel could want nothing to do with her, and end things with them right then and there, but she had to at least try to explain herself. “I have to talk to him…” Jezebel quickly sent a text to Mikel, but she had to see him in person.
I’m sorry. Please, can we talk?
Mikel had picked her up from her house, so she just had to arrange a ride there. Jezebel looked back at Jordan apologetically. She knew she had to have been making things more complicated for him too. She didn’t know what she was feeling, and she probably shouldn’t have kissed him, even if there was still that part of her that didn’t want to leave, and wanted to kiss him again. “Talk soon… Ok?” Jezebel said somewhat nervously. She had to talk to Mikel then, but she would have to talk to Jordan again, even if it wasn’t about anything that was happening right then. They still had some catching up to do, and there was still so much just left from when they broke up in the first place.
@benitz786
@Madilfill (Texted Mikel, she’ll probably be at the party to talk to Mikel in her next post)
Candice probably stood inside that bathroom for hours. Maybe it was shorter… perhaps it was mere minutes, but as she stood there, disgusted to look at herself in the mirror, it felt like she had been there forever. CC had never done something like that. Lie to the one person in the world that mattered to her the most in the world. She had lied to her mom, the public, hell everyone… even Dom - but Valerie Wood had never been that person. Hell… all of today was a lie.
Happy Birthday Candice Clarke…
The only thing that brought Candice out of her self-deprecating trance was a single text message from the “unknown” number she had been getting all day. She knew what it meant… she knew it was time.
Unknown:
“One Hour”
Making sure to fix her makeup, Candice took a deep breath as she went outside - smiling as if nothing had happened and doing her usual job of saying thanks and hi to those around her. Though after a few minutes, she couldn’t do it anymore. Grabbing her keys, Candice walked out of the front doors, into the storm that was only growing - most people likely imagining she was headed to the after-party. After all… what else would Candice Clarke be doing?
Though, they would all be wrong. Instead - Candice found herself sitting in her car, outside of Valerie Wood’s house. She knew she shouldn’t be here… it wasn’t a part of the plan but she had to do this. Taking a piece of paper out, Candice took her pen out and wrote a simple message.
𝘐’𝘮 𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘝𝘢𝘭,
𝘐 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦. 𝘋𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵. 𝘐 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶… 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘭𝘭 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸. 𝘎𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘣𝘺𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘦𝘴.
-C.
With that, Candice folded the piece of paper and walked through the rain before placing it in the mailbox. Though when Valerie found it, it likely would be too late. Not caring about herself getting completely soaked, Candice walked to the back of her car, opened the storage compartment and found the suitcase she had packed. It was all there. Her escape route.
Yes, Candice Clarke was now 18. This meant if she left, her mother no longer had any jurisdiction on her. And after everything that had been going on over the past few months, Candice was done. Closing the back, Candice went to the driver’s seat and begin driving into the rain with one place in mind. Yes, Candice was pulling what was now known at Cerulean High as the “Jessica Pierce,” but with Candice, no one would ever know where she went.
Elodie May DeLoughrey
Elodie slightly lifted her brow in curiosity, seeing him nod to her question but the name he mentioned only made her chuckle, shaking her head. “Valerie, yes. I forgot about that. Small world,” with a sweet smile she gently pushed a strand of her hair behind her ear, looking in the direction she last saw Valerie standing with what she could assume was her date. “We are friends,” she quickly added, looking back at Malachi with a sweet smile. If there was anyone Elodie thought wouldn’t judge her and would understand the situation, that was Valerie. Only because of something that happened between the two of them.
Before she could say anything else, the music stopped and a person appeared on the stage with a gold envelope. Something she’s been impatiently waiting for. If there was something Elodie wanted and craved more than anything it was to be the prom queen. That has been the main topic at her home since the beginning of the senior year but winning has been her wish for even longer - four years now. As they were all standing in silence, waiting to hear those two names, she was biting the inside of her cheek trying to calm herself down. It wouldn’t be that bad if she lost, right? It was just a stupid title and everyone would forget about it by tomorrow. Everyone but her.
But before she knew it, a spotlight dropped on her making her freeze. It took her a couple of seconds to process what just happen… to actually understand that she won. As soon as she did, her hand flew to cover the biggest grin on her face, not knowing how to react because of the shock. The night she thought would be the worst night of her life turned into the best one. With perfect date to winning something she always wanted. What made her even happier was the fact that Luciano won - someone even she voted for. “Oh my God,” she whispered as she turned to face Malachi who congratulated her, still in shock. “Yeah, thank you,” was the only thing she could mumble, not taking the smile off of her lips before she turned to look at Luciano and start walking towards him.
“What a crazy birthday, huh?” She quietly said as she slowly approached him, glancing at the person she saw him with. Seeing who it was only made her smile brighter, if that was even possible at this point. She felt like nothing could ruin this moment for her.
@Littlefeets - Malachi

This is so so bad but I don’t want to keep you waiting because I’ll be very busy tomorrow…
“Talk soon…ok?”
Jordan smiled softly at the words and nodded. “Anything for you,” he responded, watching as she turned around and begin walking away from him - reminding him of the moment years earlier when him and Jezebel were at the airport. Though, at that moment, Jordan had walked away from her - though, despite anything Jezebel may have thought, that moment hurt him too. But this… watching her walk away. This hurt more. Perhaps that’s how she had felt when he walked away - a simple promise that they would stay friends. Friends a term that, simply seeing Jezebel Sloane in person, and fallen apart. Could he truly ever be friends with the girl he loved? He had tried when they first met - stumbling over his words whenever he was around her.
After a few moments outside, Jordan watched as the rain begin to fall and almost wanted to just stay there - closing his eyes as he recalled her soft lips upon his just moments earlier. The way her body felt against his and how he simply craved for more. He likely could have stayed there all night - that was until he found one of his bandmates stumble outside looking at him. “Dude where have you been? King and Queen dance - we need you,” With that, the man nodded, walking back inside with his usual smile on his face as the rest of his band looked at him like he was crazy… Which now he was missing his jacket and was slightly wet so he likely did look it.
“King and Queen Dance?” Jordan asked with a smile and walked back to the stage - walking towards the piano as he took a seat - his smile growing bigger when he saw that Elodie had won, alongside his old friend Luciano. “Hey you two,” Jordan spoke into the mic, “this one’s for you,” he stated into the mic, winking towards Elodie as he begin playing - his band joining in with the other instruments.

“Because that’s rude?” He rolled his eyes to the girl’s comment. “It’s a party, you don’t knock. Unless you are a noob.” He said with a little laugh while he eyes the different bottles on the shelf behind the marble bar. “Nice house.” Mikel shrugged at her compliment. It was too big, he hated it. It always was too clean, too put together. Everything except his own room at least and that made his mom upset. Anytime they were having people over she always made him go clean up his room, open the windows to let in light, and usually take down anything that would make people think he wasn’t a preppy boy. He hated when she would make him do this though, it’s not like they were going to go up to his room so why would it even matter.
He settled on a blue-tinted bottle and twisted off the cap, dropping it on the ground and taking a drink. He put his other hand on the collar of his shirt, his fingers feeling the stitching of it. He saw Ruby go to clean up his mess which caused him to scoff and mutter some unknown words to himself under his own breath. He rolled his eyes and walked over to the window, through a crowd of people. He didn’t care if he was interrupting their conversation and as he did so he heard a guy call him an ^sshole which made Mikel smile.
His phone vibrated in his pocket. He looked down at the pocket as he felt the sensation and was going to ignore it but he felt it was something he might need to check so he pulled it out and held it up, eye level, and very close to his face. He squinted his eyes as he read a message from Jez. He was slightly happy that she texted him but at the same time, it p^ssed him off and made his blood boil. He turned around to face no one in particular and held up his phone. “How cute, my little cheating cutie girlfriend texted me!” He said aloud and showed the phone to the closet person who had a puzzled look on their face. He took a large drink before setting the glass down on the side table next to the couch and started to reply.
Yuu Knoo Whare I am.
He sent the message back to her and looked at the screen for a few seconds before clenching his teeth and throwing the phone at the wall. He laughed as he did so. He didn’t know what else to do but laugh. The irony. Everyone in his life cheats in some way or another. His parents cheating on each other. His biological mom cheating the system and getting rid of him. Mikel always told himself he wouldn’t do such a thing but the roles just get reversed snd he believed he deserved it at this point. “Who wants to do shots?” He yelled and smiled as he quickly went back to the bar and a group of people started to surround him.

“It’s a party. You don’t knock. Unless you’re a noob.” Mikel said. Ruby shrugged. “I haven’t been invited to many parties…” she said. She was going to ask where the bandages were, but he’d already left. She sighed, looking for the bathroom. She found it, wrapping her hands in gauze and going to sit on the couch. She was p!ssed Daniel told her not to drink, but she didn’t want to get him angry. She closed her eyes, leaning into the couch.
