I have really been thinking about getting back into playing the violin, but it’s so freaking expensive and if you heard my money struggles as a broke student you know why I can’t :sob:

Understandable. Just take your time and get back into it when you can!

I opened my violin up after like 3 years a week ago (yes I know that’s terrible for my violin i’m sorry :sob:)

My e string snapped oop

will need to replace that but the rest of it’s okay

plays very well too - ironically there was still rosin on my bow :joy:

I think I really will when I have a steady job after my masters, then it should be doable, but well, knowing m that might be years away as I first want to go to New Zealand for a year and have so many other dreams first before I wanna settle down :sob: But I need money for that so idk :sob:

That’s what happens when you don’t play for months already. I actually have a guitar as well here I haven’t touched in years :upside_down_face:

Yeah :joy: HOW SAD THOUGH

I’ve always wanted to do guitar but it’s in a different clef than violin :sob: so I don’t want to learn a new musical clef

I feel I need to hear this often like with my job I’m held to this really high expectations but I’m still able to act my age and have fun

You’re still in your 20s girly

And even in your 30s

Like honestly; that’s truly young to me. I’ve met people still figuring out their lives at 28-34. It’s okay! Life isn’t a one way street. People don’t need to have things figured out by 23-24. God knows I don’t.

I get that. BUT HERE IT IS MADI. YOU ARE YOUNG, BEAUTIFUL, AND YOU’RE ALLOWED TO BE YOUNG AND ENJOY YOUR YOUTH

You’re never going to be this young again so why have regrets?

you can live up to the expectations that are put on you and still act your AGEEEE and have a good time
