Except for the first 2, I knew nothing about the other 4 mentioned names. I still wanted to give a reasonable answer tho, and only way I could do that is by thoroughly researching them…

My favorite is Ambroise Pare because I only found out about him from making a character in this Regency era book I made, who was the nurse who amputated a soldier in war against France and then later when they were both in love with one another she made him a prosthetic and she knew how to do it because her idol was Ambroise Pare and she felt awesome after that, and he felt as if she was awesome and that he was the luckiest man in the world although his parents weren’t as pleased, but hey at least their son wasn’t dead as they and his sister originally thought

Would you like a good suggestion? It’s set in real time (meaning 2013 because it was made in 2013) about these women who payed for this vacation in a castle where everybody would pretend it’s the Regency era and there are male actors who act like they’re these Darcy type of men. It’s a really cute movie lol and it makes fun of Regency rules and is a parody on Austen and it’s really funny sometimes.
