Hey so, for my blind girl, because of circumstances would society be more forgiving of touching? Like while courting if she were to promenade with a suitor she could hold his arm while he guides her?

Yes! I plan to have her play piano by ear exceptionally as well as an accomplished equestrian rider due to her bond with her horse, feeling it’s breathing as she rides is a comforting feeling to her.

Well I mean in general, your girl will be receiving scrutiny from the ton for simply having a disability and even skepticism and pity. She will hear whispers of people talking about her as a burden. But she’ll also receive some sympathy and curiosity as well.
Due to this, I think some of society will be forgiving and understanding and others (especially those with more traditional views) will be blatantly mean and disgusted by her. In general; she’ll have to hold and be guided but she should always have people watching or a gardian so she’s not alone with a man
