Connor Beckett
I woke up to two alarms blaring like every morning. I slammed my alarm clock and rolled onto my back. I rubbed my eyes and placed my hands on my face and took a second to breathe. “Morning.” I greeted my sister. No response- typical. I tore the covers off of me and got ready. I smelt my camp half-blood shirt, which wasn’t too musty so I threw it on. “Get up, we have to head to the Big House.” I reminded my sister.
“In a minute.” She responded. I sighed and rolled my eyes. I stuck a few vapes in my pocket and looked back at my sister, who was still sleeping. “Come on, get up!” I yelled this time. She didn’t move. I grabbed my leather jacket and put it over my t-shirt. To force her to wake up I did my usual morning anthem and clapped. The rhythm practically engraved into our minds. I clapped until she sat up angry. I continued clapping, until I was outside.
It was raining so I had to rush inside the Big House. While walking inside I fixed any hairs that were out of place and adjusted my leather jacket. I immediately thought of the Grease and started to humming the soundtrack. I had too much energy to contain so I looked around for anyone who looked lonely.
I digged in my pocket for a vape when the back of my shoe came loose. I stepped forward and turned around struggling to keep my balance.
“My apologies for the um- flat tire.”’
I chuckled and adjusted the back of my shoe. “No worries.” I smiled. “Connor Beckett, nice to meet you.” I said shaking her hands. I folded my arms and studied her. “Wait let me guess… Roman?”

I walked over to Finn and crossed my arms with a smile. Speaking to Finn in the mornings is always a great start to my day and I figure to his as well. “Yeah… not my typical morning. I was hoping to wear my favorite horseshoes today… bit of a bummer.” I tapped one of my hooves on the floor making an echo that bounced across the room. The sound never failed to satisfy me. “Anyways, how are you?”

“That’s a beautiful name.” I complimented her. I crossed my arms and smiled to keep a happy demeanor. I haven’t seen her around camp so I figured she must be new or apart of the other pantheons.
“All I know is that it’s gonna be some sort of announcement and everyone has to be here, so yeah must be really important. So if you don’t mind me asking, who’s your godly parent?”

I chuckled at his remarks. He was definitely drunk, if not trying to get drunk. As much as I love alcohol, I never understood morning drinking. Out of all the alcoholic drinks he chose beer. Who even likes beer?! “If you want to get seriously drunk, beer is not gonna do it. You need vodka, or tequila if you’re feeling fancy.”
Sixth can of beer in 10 minutes? He wasn’t wrong when he said inhale. I can tell by his grin that in 2 seconds he’d be on the floor knocked out, if I know the feeling. His laugh said it all. I gave him a concerned look but also, couldn’t help put to laugh. I covered my mouth and tried to keep it in, but I couldn’t help it. “I’m sorry it’s nothing about you…” I spit out. I sighed. “Austin, and if you fall over I’m not going to help you.”

I haven’t heard of the name Aurelio before the new demigods came in, so he couldn’t be Greek. He didn’t seem all that surprised when I spotted him and approached, almost like he expected it. I didn’t dwell on it any longer and began to pull up my purple hair into a ponytail. “Is it that obvious?” I asked. I wasn’t the funniest person in the world, but I knew when it was time to be serious and when it was time to joke around.
I crossed my arms and put my foot out in a stance. “So what’s your pantheon since your obviously not Greek?”
