“About your name … You don’t think first names are too forward?” He asked. After all he keeps reminding himself he has known her for a few minutes, barely enough time to even know her name let alone to be so personal as to use her first name. “I mean we do barely know each other.” Once he said that he remebered how even though he knows her for such a short time, he could tell from the get go she was such a special and interesting person that he couldn’t think of her as a stranger anymore. He remebered some people he knew for years that feel like strangers to him, and now he finally feels the opposite effect. So he smiled at her, look at her for a while and said “Very, well Destiny. You’ve convinced me.” After this whole ordeal, while he was holding the puppy in front of her she accepted his gift and gave William a compliment. But that compliment, meant so much to him, especially since it was coming from her but also because he could tell it wasn’t one of those white lies, nor was somewhat true but blown up to be grand and untrue. His cheeks turned rosy and he gazed at her, lovingly as she played with the puppy. He knew a person like her wouldn’t say no to him, even after he told her the puppy was abandoned. Truth is he thought the dog was perfect for her, but he also was in a way abandoned like that dog, except not physically like the dog.
“What are you gonna name him?”
