
Destiny laughed, “Yea, think of like seafoam or that kind of blue you get when you mix the paints together.” She said thinking for a moment. She laughed, “Yes, I am and I’m glad you’re cool with it. Mum wants me with whoever will make me happy and Dad wants me with a nice guy who can provide for me and take care of me, you know.” Talking about her parents reminded her of a recent conversation she had with them. Deshawn told her he liked brown when she stood up. “Would you excuse me for a moment? I just was reminded that I have to take go take a pregnancy test.” Destiny left the room for a moment.
When she came back, Destiny sat on the couch with something in her hand as well as an indiscernible look on her face. She laid back down on the couch with her head in his lap and handed him the pregnancy test. “Here, if you want to take a look.”
