“I made it to myself, about you.” He thought it was clear but evidently not.
“I know exactly how to get girls into my bed. Trust me that’s not what this is. You can wait outside my cabin with me while I grab it from my cabin and you wait outside.” He proposed. “Trust me the drink wasn’t for you it was for me, you barely had any and look at the abundance of glasses in front of me.” He said. “That’s why you need to come with me to my cabin. I could easily go to my cabin and grab it, but I doubt I’ll know my way back. The alcohol hasn’t hit my head yet, but it will, probably as I’m going to attempt to return here. That way I could also just go to sleep straight afterwards instead of having to walk from the party all alone. So what do you say? Do you like gifts?” He asked, hinting what it is.
“I…uh…” North chuckled awkwardly. He had no idea how to respond to her question.
He ran inside, and grabbed Orla a blanket before he ran back outside to wrap the blanket around the cold girl.
“I…it just happened…” He lied. “I…I didn’t mean to freeze you or kiss you…”
“Can I get you anything?” He asked. North didn’t expect her to turn blue from being frozen. When he went to offer to lead Orla over to the stairs, North saw his breath. He touched the railing and immedietly pulled his hand back as frost appeared where his hand had been a second earlier. Instead of touching her again, North motioned for Orla to sit on the stairs, keeping a respectable distance away from her.
“Makes sense. It can be pretty scary. I just need to keep my gloves on, and everything will be fine.” Emma followed after her. “I was afraid too. Afraid of accidentally killing again. Also, once people learned of my power, they just ran. Not that I blame them. I’d run too. So, what type of food do you want? They even have spicy food. I saw this one Asian girl screaming that her mouth was on fire.” @Bluecookies - Freya
Freya nodded, “Yea, but I think you can do it.” She said reassuringly. Freya thought for a moment, “I don’t know, what kind of food do you want?” When Emma mentioned Asia, that reminded her of another good question to ask, “Do you have a favorite movie?”
“Yeah, you’re right. I got this. I think. Ah, we’ll see.” Freya asked what food she wanted, and Emma thought for a minute. “Hmm…wall, I already mentioned tacos, so those. It sucks with my gloves, though. Finger food is hard.” She shook her head when asked if she had a favorite movie. “Not really. What about you?” @Bluecookies - Freya
Freya laughed, “Well, you’ve made it this far, right?” She thought for a moment, "“Well, what if we see about burritos, then? Wouldn’t those be easier on your gloves?” Freya blushed a little, thinking of her favorite movie. “I like the original animated Mulan.” She found so much of that movie relatable to her circumstances. A woman pretending to be a man, not fitting in anywhere with the other women and not really understanding the men, her family ‘abandoning’ her. Well, she knew that if the family helped Mulan that it could get her killed, but she still related to it. And more than anything, she like the ending when the guys accepted her despite her being a woman.
It seems Helix would not be partaking in the party any time soon. He suddenly regretted going to this show if this was what it’d be. He really shouldn’t have listened to his friend, but it’s too late now. So, Helix looked at the camp map and started to make his way to the lake. Alone. Without anyone. “I might just be having a nightmare. Yeah, yeah, let’s go with that,” Helix nodded to himself. He was trying to raise his spirits, but it didn’t work. Helix shuddered as a chill went down his spine upon seeing the large lake. He grabbed a fishing pole and looked for bait. He found a lure and some live bait. Helix picked up the worm, looking at it, the hook, then the water. Not wanting to put it in that situation, Helix set the worm down near some rich dirt, then started to attach the lure. It took him several attempts, and he even pricked his finger, but he eventually was all set. He took one step on the dock and immediately backtracked as he heard it creak. Helix decided to fish from near the shore. He was not going on that dock. He did a few tests casts, then finally cast it out. And now, he just had to wait. And wait. And wait. This was going to take a while.
“Where are you going?” Orla said a bit frustrated because she was freezing and barely able to move. This wasn’t her nightmare, infact her nightmare was quite the opposite, but she was still scared and alone.
“A thing like that doesn’t just happen.” Orla smiled as she realized that’s true, and he probably kissed her because he liked her. “But you did both … Now I understand the kiss part, but why the freeze? Does it come with the kiss? Like a package deal? I could kiss you but that also freezes you and I can’t do anything about it? Something like that?” She kept on asking.
“Can you get me anything? Well yeah, you can get me warm becasue you got me cold in the first place … IN THIS DRESS” She exclaimed as she pointed to her dress jokingly. The dress might’ve been big and beautiful, but it exposed most of her neck and her collar bone, her cleavage and her shoulders were all exposed.
“Also you can get me that embarrising dance because you totally lost!” She said as she wrapped the blanket around her, getting slightly warmer. "You think you can distract me with that kiss and the way you froze me? Nah-uh, you still lost and I won’t forget it … Now dance monkey, dance!
A young woman had stormed out of a young man’s truck parked at the gates of the camp, “I can’t believe you’re siding with them. You know how important my job is, to others and to me!” She angrily grabbed her bags out, tossing them to the ground without a care. “What I know, is how important the ‘golden girl’ is to Mom and Dad.” The man replied clearly angry but better at hiding it than the girl obviously was. “So, what does Mom and Dad have to do with anything?” The woman asked. The man dropped everything he was holding and stormed over the woman no longer holding back despite the rather public setting, “You know one would think that with all that studying, and the fancy test scores, that you could put it together…You haven’t come to see any of us, it’s been months and we were worried sick, now they’re in a full on panic because we got a call from the hospital saying that you had been in a coma. A freaking coma, not just ‘unconscious’ or ‘light-headed’, try unresponsive; you have really done it this time. If you keep up this sh!t up, it won’t just be your girlfriend who abandons you.” The woman scoffed, “Ok, first off, I was responsive to auditory stimuli, and second it was one time!” The man threw his hands up in the air, “You are unbelievable! I’m done pulling you out of the fire, if you want to burn so bad, then burn.” He threw the last of her stuff in the pile and opened his truck door, “You know…I pity your ‘soulmate’ and how much of your cr@p they’ll have to deal with before they figure it out. You are already married to one thing and one thing only: your work.” He got in the truck and sped off. The woman turned around to gather her things and saw another young person standing there. “Well, how much of that did you hear?” She asked tilting her head towards the direction her brother had left, indicating their conversation.
After the unconscious girl was brought to the nurse, Azalea didn’t feel right going back to the party. Guilt was eating her alive, and it was evident from her face. With all this guilt she would not be able to enjoy the party and if she went she would probably only feel worse. As she was walking towards her cabin, on the trail she wasn’t paying attention and she bumped into a hard tree, or what felt like a hard tree. She looked up from where she fell and noticed it was Mr. Stevenson. “Oh my god I’m so sorry I wasn’t looking where I was going.” She got up and brushed off his shoulders and chest from the impact. “Again I’m … sory.”
“You’re right. I’ve come pretty far. Yeah, let’s see about those burritos.” Emma nodded, stomach growling again. Freya mentioned Mulan, and Emma grinned. “Ah, I get it. Same circumstances. I don’t really think there’s a movie where the protagonist can decay things. I think there’s an anime where the villain can, though.” @Bluecookies - Freya
Juniper blinked when Audrey said it was his fault. “Huh. Ok, hold on.” Juniper stood up, walking about five feet away. “Ok, can you still see me?” Juniper asked, looking over at Audrey. His power was interesting. Kinda annoying, but interesting. They tried again to grow roses, concentrating. Would this work?” @LunaticLeviTheSecond - Audrey
“It doesn’t matter if I can see you or not, I could lean onto a wall and a person in the other room that’s about 5 meters away from me would still have problems with their powers. So I doubt your powers have returned because I’m in a okay mood, despite the way I’m dressed.” He said. As soon as he did thought, his mood went down a bit as he was reminded of the way he’s dressed and it went down a bit, just enough for Juniper to get their power back.
“Ok, I get it. That does make sense.” Juniper attempted to make roses grow, succeeding. Roses wound around Junipers arms and legs, blooming. “Yeah! Now we’re talking!” They grinned, waving over at Audrey. The roses disappeared back into the ground, and Juniper walked back over to him. “Ta da!” They said, doing jazz hands. @LunaticLeviTheSecond - Audrey
Deshawn closed his eyes, trying to think of the wettest he has ever been apart from the smutty thing that had just took place. He remembered himself, he was really young- like 18 or 19 and loved doing stupid things- not like he ever stopped but still. His friends had just dared him to dive in to a sea really deep and stay there for some time, he remembered himself crawling back to the surface and gasping for air. Coughing out water and some seaweeds that were in his mouth. He had laughed after it was done, but he remembered getting sick the next day and still feeling like he was wet- really wet. He opened one eye slowly and yesss it had work, he had burn with water, well that was something he never thought he would say. “A reward? What kind?” He said like an excited puppy who had just gotten it’s treat.
Destiny smiled happily watching him successfully use her powers and on the first try too. “You are a natural.” He then asked what kind of reward she’d give him, like a cute lovesick puppy. She smirked and whispered softly into his ear, “The fun kind…” Before he could say another word, she straddled his lap, pressed him down on the bed, leaned down, and gave him a deep, passionate kiss on the lips. Still smirking she got off his lap, “So, do you want to try a harder technique? If you succeed, you’ll get another reward.” She said laying back down on the bed, smiling softly.
Freya smiled softly, “Yes, you have.” Freya laughed, "Good idea! I’m pretty hungry too.[/color] She nodded sheepishly, "Yea, to help me feel better my sister showed it to me. I loved it right away and have watched it so many times since. Freya chuckled, “With your task, I wouldn’t rule it out.” She rubbed her hands together, “Now, about those burritos, I say we raid the kitchen for a little midnight snack.”
Andromeda actually laughed out loud, “Riiiiiight, no I believe you, buddy. I’m sure every girl wants to hear that she’s an object, or a ‘what’, instead of a person. It must really turn them on, right?” She rolled her eyes with a smirk. “Ok, grab what exactly?” She raised an eyebrow as he laid out his plan, “So, what, you want me to be your designated walker?” She was about to decline when he said he had a gift for her, Andi was now genuinely surprised, “A gift…for me? Why?”
Emma walked into the kitchen, looking around. “How many times have you seen it? I’m guessing multiple.” She opened the fridge, finding the fixings for burritos. Carefully pulling off her gloves, she replaced them with clear plastic ones that would be easier to work with. “Do you want a burrito? If not, I saw more food in there.” @Bluecookies - Freya
“Roses!? Those are my favorite, how did you know.” Audrey joked. “No, but seriously, I’m sorry about my power, it sometimes bothers people that they can’t use it around me so some people avoid me. But you have to understand I can’t control it … I mean I can influence it to be a shorter or a longer distance, but then my mood and my well being suffers for it so it’s not something I can offer.”
