“That’s exactly my sentiment. The 17th century was best in male fashion, but worst in progression. By the 17th century mankind became so sexist, racist and horrible that it was probably unbearable.” Than as Cesare was thinking about the things and ideas we have now and those of the said century, he got an idea in his head. An idea as to why men became so tasteless in clothing. “But maybe male clothing became so boring becase of progression in favor of women rights.” He said withouth elaborating.

“Oh, very funny.” Juniper laughed at him, sitting down in their chair. “That’s pretty handy actually. Annoying for me, but it can be convenient. Say your facing someone with a dangerous power. It’ll shut off, and you’ll be fine. When did you discover I? I discovered mine at age four.”

William laughed “Oh you’ve managed to pull it out of me, but now that you know, are the chances of you coming with me higher? Because I saw it and thought of you … And I’m not making it up, I swear the first glance and I imagined you using it, and everything was like made for you, down to the color, so I couldn’t not buy it. And if you didn’t think me selfish up to this point, this purchase also benefits me probably as much as it does you.”

“Well I didn’t exactly have to discover it, I was told I have it probably, because when my parents started noticing aorund me they couldn’t use their powers I was likely too young to remeber … Porobably an infant, maybe even a newborn. But there are some powers it can’t stop. For instance if somebody was born with the type of skin that can bear usually untorelable temperatures and temperature drops, I can’t change the skin nor make it stop being so tolerable… There are more exaples I’m sure.”

Freya shook her head with a smile, “I lost count after a bit, but after being told so many times, I’m sure Arthur can tell you the exact number probably with an annoyed look on his face.” Freya smiled, “Are you kidding? I’m not one to pass up on Mexican food!” She also pulled out the stuff to fix burritos and poked her head back in the fridge, “Hey, there are a couple drink options in here. Do you have a preference?”

Andromeda smirked, “Alright, alright, not bad, but I’m still angry with you.” She thought for a moment after he talked about the gift, “Ok, I’ll admit, you’ve piqued my interest but no funny business mister, got it?” He then mentioned it somehow benefiting him too, Andromeda shook her head with a half smile, “And you were doing so well. Now, let’s just get going before I change my mind.”

“Hmmm, that’s really interesting. One day, I was mad at my mom for something, and she was trying to pick me up. Suddenly, there was a wall of thorns surrounding me. My mom was shocked. Then, she apparently started laughing. She thought it was hilarious. I was told I just pouted.” Juniper was doubled over laughing now.” They listened to Audrey, nodding. “Interesting.”

He got up from his seat, paid the barmen for his and her drink, waited for her to fully cover up and they left together. “Ready?” He asked as they went out. During the walk his mind was filled with negative thoughts about what he was about to do. *“What if she doesn’t like it? She already has one, why would she need another one? What if she’s offended by this? Why if she won’t need it anymore? I mean she literally didn’t need one now and you bought it for her. What if she doesn’t like the color? You should have just burned it.” William fought those negative thoughs by realizing it’s too late to change his mind now so he just continues on walking. “This path is not very well lit, is it?” William noticed trying to start conversation during the walk.
ORP: FINALLY MADE A NAMEPLATE FOR HIM!!
“Well, some people with powers that are hard to notice or that need more time to realize there are any … well even they find out they have powers early one because most people have powers and expect their babies to have them too, so if they don’t show signs by a certain age they start looking for powers to see if they have any. It’s kind of like the plot that vampire cartoon I saw as a kid where the kid was only half vampire and the grandfather waited and hoped for the kid to grow fangs.”
“I bet Arthur wasn’t too happy. He probably thinks it’s a girly movie. I’ll ask him his favorite movie later. I bet it’s,” She faked a masculine voice. “MANLY. Hauh!” Emma cackled, throwing a punch. “What types of drinks? I’ll take a Coke if there are any.” She made her burrito, disintegrating the plastic gloves and sitting down to eat her burrito, pinkies raised.

“Right, some powers develop late, or are hard to notice. Like my mom. She just gives off a slight scent that she can make stronger or weaker at will. She smells really good, honestly.” Juniper snickered. “She smells like flowers.” Audrey mentioned a cartoon, and Juniper cocked their head. “Hotel Transylvania? I’ve seen it. That’s the second movie.”

“When I get nervous…I freeze things…” North explained nervously. As Orla asked him to warm her up, he quickly put on some gloves before he grabbed a random jacket from his cabin.
“I really can’t get you any hot chocolate…not easily at least…” He said as he handed Orla the jacket. “But I can give you some warm clothes if you want to change…”
North sighed as Orla reminded him of the dance, which he had honestly forgotten about.
He grabbed his phone and began to play the cupid shuffle. He placed his phone next to Orla and begaan to awkwardly do the cupid shuffle dance, occasionally forgetting the moves and tripping over his own feet.
“Your mom? What is her power if I may be so bold to ask?” He was in fact, so bold to ask. Audrey was delighted the girl knew the cartoon in question. “Yeah I remeber watching it but I couldn’t for the life of me think of the title and it’s been in my brain for years just missing a title or enough information as to the plot, so thank you, one childhood mystery solved.” He smiled as he made a checkmark gesture with his finger.

Freya smiled, “He kind of does, yea.” She howled with laughter at Emma’s manly voice. “Well, there is one song he likes…” She adopted a fake manly voice of her own and song part of a song, “Be a man, You must be swift as the coursing river, Be a man, With all the force of a great typhoon, Be a man, With all the strength of a raging fire, Mysterious as the dark side of the moon…” Throughout the entire time she sung she did various martial arts kicks and punches with enough precision to tell that she’s done it for years. When Freya was done, she sheepishly turned around and went about making her burrito in silence for a full minute, “I was not kidding about really liking that movie…” She finally spoke with an embarrassed laugh as she tucked her hair behind her ear. She then handed Emma a Coke and sat down across from her and raised her pinkies as well, just so Emma wouldn’t feel alone.

“She secretes fragrant sweat. It depends on what she eats, but her sweat always smells like flowers. She can even put people to sleep if she sweats enough. It’s pretty cool, but also sorta gross.” They grinned, glad they could help. “Yeah, no problem. A fourth movie came out a couple years ago. I’ve seen it. It was good.” She grinned, making a check mark too.
@LunaticLeviTheSecond - Audrey
Emma dropped her burrito, falling out of her chair in laughter. “Ahhhh, nonononon! The floooorrrrr!” She cackled, said floor turning to dust beneath her. She scrambled to her feet, panting. She sat back down, taking the Coke Freya gave her. “I bet I’ll have to pay for that…oops.” Emma stared down at the floor, deadpan.

She put on the jacket he got her, feeling a little more warm and put the blanket over her legs as she watched the boy dance with a quizical brow.
“Hey, isn’t that the same dance you tried when you stepped on my dance? It looks like the same arm flailing to me.” She chuckled and got up, allowing the blanket to fall down down the stairs she was sitting on.
“Let me help you with that. Turn that off and pass me the phone.” She demanded as she approached him. “Now let me show you how a real man dances.” She said as she took her phone and put it on shuffle accidentaly and got into position for a waltz.
Instead of the waltz she thought she pressed, a very different song started playing and instead of changing it, Orla danced along waiting for him to join.
Audrey started laughing uncontrollably after dicovering their mother’s power. After catching some breath he started apologizing “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, but I find that power awfully funny. I don’t mean to disrespect your mother.” Audrey stopped laughing all together as Juniper started talking about the Hotel Transylvania thrilogy. “There’s 4 movies?” He exclaimed “I didn’t know there was a second one, you know because I believed the one I saw was the first one.” He smiled. “But what is your favorite cartoon though?”

“Yeah, it is kinda funny. It’s really bad in the summer because the smell of flowers is overwhelming. I love her, but Phew. Good lord.” Juniper laughed when Audrey apologized. “Nah. It’s fine. We all know, even her.” They laughed at his surprise about the four movies. “Yeah, they’re really good in my opinion. My favorite cartoon? Batman. Poison Ivy….ahhh…”
@LunaticLeviTheSecond - Audrey
“Poison Ivy you say?” He smiled. “I haven’t seen it, but it sounds like something you would like considering your powers. I think you should say it’s your favorite cartoon because it could be a good conversation starter when somebody asks you this and instead of a random movie you say Poison Ivy and they note how it fits you because of your power … Kind of … Like I just did.”
