“The cup is also to blame. I can’t feel too much heat through the cup either, so that’s tricky too.” Adam answered. As he took his first sip he wondered what to say to her, so he decided for regular plesentries that any stranger could be asked on any occasion.
“So, you probably came here for a reason, like the rest of us … Did you find what you’re looking for?” Adam asked knowing some people already found it based on the show’s website and the information they put out that morning.
Adam looked at her and then at his arm. He decided to write the message to his soulmate to check if it’s her … He just scratched his arm but he wanted to know if it would show up on her arm. So he looked at both of her arms and saw nothing there. Well at least she’s safe.
“I don’t know who my soulmate is either … But why did you come here in search of a soulmate. I mean it’s pretty obvious for me, I mean look at me it’s hard to find a person to love when you’re my age and you have my looks and my bad luck but you’re young you just need to look out and find somebody to experience something with.”

Deshawn had headed to Destiny’s cabin. And no it was not to sleep with her again, though he would 100% love to re-create that beautiful moment, it’s been or month or 2 since that happened. Anyways, he went there to complete a task with her. She must have gotten the message of the task. He knocked on her door excited to do a task with his Destiny, if he could call himself that. He knew that he wasn’t her soulmate, as much as he would like it. Perhaps, if he met his soulmate he would leave them for Destiny. Yes, he knew, he was a hypocrite. For as long as he had lived, he had wanted to find his soulmate and now that he was so close and really close to finding it, he would throw it for a girl who wasn’t his soulmate. The sad part, he was not sure if she would do the same. He wouldn’t blame her if she didn’t, finding your soulmate was a beautiful thing and Deshawn was the worst. He had hurt his soulmate by planning a future rejection, he hoped if he ever does that, may his soulmate forgive him and may they become friends, Amen.
He knocked on the door again, no response. Huh? Was she in the cabin? He heard the sounds of bed sheets moving “Destiny? Destiny?” Should he enter? “Destiny! Destiny I’m coming in, if you don’t want me in say no.” No response, the door was locked but he easily broke it down- oof, he hoped his salary would be able to repair that damage. He went into the kitchen, were he saw her crying. “Destiny?” He approached her slowly. “Destiny, baby what’s wrong.” He asked wrapping her in a hug. “I’m here for you, as your friend.” He told her nuzzling into her neck and patting her head, in an effort to calm her down.
Luna brushed herself off, her arms suddenly feeling itchy.
She pulls up the sleeves of her t-shirt to see scratches on her arm.
“Weird. I don’t remember scratching my arms today.”
She brushed it off, it’s probably nothing.
But in the back of her mind, it didn’t seem like nothing.
She smiled and pulled her sleeves back down.
Then she went on with her day. But the scratches never left her mind, it was all she thought about.
A little while later…
An idea popped into Luna’s mind. She remembered an article she had read a few days back about the soulmate connection, but the problem was that she forgot the details of the article, and she was scared she couldn’t find it again.
She searched for a few minutes, and finally found something.
She learned how to write on her arm, but she didn’t know who her soulmate was. That didn’t stop her from writing though. “This is something new. Did you create the scratches on my arm?”

“I’m glad you’re not my soulmate … I mean you’re a sweet girl but … I’d rather somebody like you have somebody you could love and care for as a soulmate, and not an old fart like me.” Adam said and then looked around for a piece of paper. Had to go inside to get it and came back with a paper and a pen, not understanding what she asked for. “What do you need to write down?” He asked as he layed it both in front of her and got back to drinking his tea. He noticed his arm hurts and he saw his soulmate was writing to him. Oh so she does exsist. He wrote back.
Sorry, just wanted to see if the person in front of me was my Soulamte. Truth is, I want to find you as soon as possible to be rejected and just leave

As William was about to find out, he wasn’t going back to the army anything soon, not until the show is finished and he was used to having a small amount of clothes because he was rarely free to wear them because on the battlefield he wears the uniform and in most formal events too. However, he was here for a few weeks when he realized he would probably need a bigger variety of clothes so he went shopping.
Well while he was shopping for clothes and checking out nice sweaters he saw a woman carrying a lot of clothes, some with hangers in them. She was rushing somewhere so he didn’t have the time to offer to help even if he wanted to, but one of the hanger caught to him collar of his favorite shirt and suddenly there was everything on the floor.
“Oh let me help you with that.” Offered William. Thank god his shirt wasn’t ruined, it’s a stury one that’s why it’s his favorite.

Destiny shook her head and wiped her eyes, “What? Oh, sorry, nothing’s wrong.” She said, happily, desperately trying to keep herself together. “it just seems I’ve just made too much food is all.” Deshawn, the guy she had that magical night with had just broke down her cabin door and wrapped her in a hug and she broke down in his warm embrace, hugging him tightly. “It’s my job, apparently some parents had seen the program with their kids, watching the night of the party. And well, they didn’t like how I was dressed, the quick advances, and that I slept with a stranger as soon as I learned his name. They didn’t think a woman who is teaching their kids should behave like that and that if I could do that with a total stranger, how forward am I with their kids? It’s thanks to my boss, I’m only suspended pending an investigation. I love my students, but I would never do that to any of them, Never! And then the stuff they wrote about me on the website, the comments, all the messages on my socials: half hate, half hook-up requests. It’s just too much!” She said as she turned into him and sobbed.

Adam finished the soulamte message so he was able to shift his attention to Emma, who was ready to show him something. He looked at the paper and then it came to him she wanted the paper to demonstrate her power on it, not for writing. Of course, only somebody like him or his family would make that mistake. She picked the paper up and it turned to dust, like it burned in a few seconds.
“Oh wow … Does that happen with everythin you touch?” Adam asked. “I wish I had superpowers … Even the ones like this that make you wear gloves to contain it … That’s why you’re wearing gloves isn’t it?”
“Oh and why are you exactly scared of?” Adam asked. “It’s not like you can hurt them over the gloves you’re wearing. Why should your power be the reason somebody doesn’t like you? I mean does your power extend? Can nothing touch your body except the same protective cloth you have on your arms? Or can I for instance cup your face and be held by you if you wear your gloves? Because in that case it can still work! It can definetely work so long you appreciate the best you can get is a lot excluding with your bare hands … and that’s still a lot. There are many ways to tell somebody you love them and live with them withouth you having to touch them with your bare hands. Most people show they love eachother using by kissing or hugging and none of those activities is scary when you wear your gloves … Be happy your power isn’t worse than this. Imagine if you couldn’t be able to be touched … ANYWHERE.”
Sarah woke up, stretching her arms and yawning. She was ready to start her day. Unfortunately her room was still messy from all of the stuff she decided to pack. Her giant teddy bear stared at her from the corner of the room. Sarah remembered when she caught a frog at the beginning of the party and decided that today she was going to go visit that frog. It was so adorable so she put it in a place separated by a branch where she could always find it. Plus it made it easier to not have to pick it up all of the time. Ick.
Sarah made it to the pond and tried to find the frog but it was nowhere to be found. “Huh?” She whispered. The other side had leaves so maybe it was under there, but how was she going to see it.

Adam was getting a bit tired of this and said “Girl! Are your lips poison? Is your neck radioactive? Is your body except your hand made to self destruct as soon as person touches it? As long as the answer to those questions are no, your soulmate won’t give a damn. You think about your power too much like a burden … but not a burden to you but to others … Nobody will hate you for that, especially since you’re activley trying your best to minimize it’s affect.” He grabbed her shoulders “Don’t think of yourself in such a bad way just because you are very powerful.”
Reed wished this was the weirdest thing he’d ever seen. Though, it still made his brain stall for a moment, trying to determine if the skeleton cat was real or not. Even with all the practice to understand his power, it sometimes threw curveballs at him. “That… that’s a skeleton, right?” Reed checked. Their happiness was an odd scent, a strong chemical smell mixed in with the joy. “Also, what were you singing?”

When Destiny said it was just that she had made too much food, Deshawn didn’t believe her. Not one bit, no one cries for making too much food and if they didn’t know where to keep it well they could always give him a call. He had a lot of space in his stomach. Deshawn face soften when she began telling the truth. She turned to him resting her head into his chest and sobbed, he rubbed her back “Don’t listen to the comments, you’re not anything like that. I know that.” He told with a sigh. He pulled her from his chest and cupped her jaw, “We’ll fix this, I don’t know how but we will.” He leaned to kiss the tears streaming from her face, “You’ll not get fired. You’ll stay in your job and become the most influential teacher.” He told her pulling her back into his chest.
Luna blushed, Luna never blushed. But then again, she never was this clumsy.
“Thank you,” she whispered.
The man in front of her helped her pick up the clothes she had been carrying.
She chuckled softly.
“Sorry about that. I swear I’m not normally this clumsy.”
