“Isa… Isabelle. Please… help…” She looked at Charlie, who was barely able to speak. She grabbed his hand protectively, before turning away. His injuries… while she knew they weren’t contagious, looking at them made her panic.
“I’m trying… I’m trying.” She spoke quietly to herself, her voice shaking with fright, unable to tell if Charles could hear her. Someone… please.
After a little bit, a handsome man started walking towards her. He looked older than her, but that didn’t really bother her in her relationships. “What’s going on?”
Finally, someone shows up. Isabelle crossed her arms defensively. He might be able to help her, at least. “My boyfriend! He… he seems to be injured.” She couldn’t bear to look at the injury for any longer than a second, but she knew it looked bad.
